Nisei is the term for second generation, Sansei is the word for third. But yeah, even people who were born in America were rounded up and imprisoned. And they lost almost everything they owned, too.

Naturally. We were just giving a very powerful example of Racial Profiling in the last century and its lasting damage on thousands of people, and by association, why it's a horrible idea.

(Also, thanks for clearing that up, Azure, I learned that about 3 years ago, and it was kind of hazy.)

Italians and Germans were definately there by that time but not many were put into camps for the very same reason that they are "white" in other words it was more difficult to identify them

Actually Germans and Italians didn't really want to come here. Also its not because there "White" that they couldn't identifie them. You can tell by other things like speech, acents, or looks.

Asian, European, Hispanic, and African the 4 major races today. If humans weren't so worried about race the world would have so many less problems. This will just make Arizona a place to avoid if someone is Hispanic. Do they really think they will stop anything by putting Arizona under these laws? People can just go to Texas, New Mexico, or California. I shall be very piss if they put these defiled laws in Texas, New Mexico, and California. It also unconstitutional.

Even if they are illegal the Hispanics that cross the border are helping the economy in some areas. Many will take lower paying, or dangerous jobs. I hate when people who say they take jobs away from Americans. If someone is born in the USA they are more likely to have more opportunities than someone coming across the border regardless if they done if the right way. People risk their lives just to have kids in America. We are all decedents of immigrants.

Sorry but italians were the second to get here, alright ? I studied US History and they came here for a better economy, because the US had a really good economy back then most of them came here to New York through Elis Island

Uhhh.... I think you have your facts wrong. Yes they came threw Elis island but the Italians never came here for a better economy or life style. I just finished the chapter for it in AP US Histroy class.

Why the Italians came here and your APUSH classes aren't really relevant to the discussion at hand here. I just don't want this to stray too far off-topic.

I know the reasons why they are building it, but wouldn't that superhighway that goes from the Texas border to the Canadian border cause even more problems?

Never heard of the NAFTA superhighway? Not sure if they are going to build it, but they talked about it. Put superhighway in on google, and look at the first results that come up.

Was disproven years ago, due to the insane price tag it carried as well as the time frame it would take to make such a contraption. Here's the wiki article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAFTA_superhighway

Even so Zaseo, this has no relevance to the topic at hand.

Seems Sarah Palin supports this fail law. People are protesting, and I don't think it will ever stop.
