Again, Norio Wakamoto. If you're watching in Japanese and don't love Cell, something is seriously wrong...

@nobodyknows: Nobody's telling you that the Freiza saga
wasn't good, or that you even need to change your opinion, but who said they were trying to correct anything?
Also, I didn't love the cell saga because of its plot, I just thought Cell was a very charismatic villain. Not to mention, for me, this was Gohan in his prime, and he's kinda important sorta.
But if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're trying to say "Anime > Manga
over 9000!!" or something

@Mizu- if no-one's trying to change my opinion, why are you trying to convince me to watch Kai? I've already stated my opinion, so I'll stick by it regardless.
Sorry to state the obvious, but I've never read the manga :U... and as I've already said, the main reason I didn't like the Cell saga was the plot. Plus his English VA was annoying as f*ck IMO.
And to reiterate my old point again, my first experience of DBZ was the Freiza saga, back when it was first released. I don't care if they 'make it better', because I'll still technically be watching the same thing that I've watched once already, so I won't appreciate it as much. Ergo, I wouldn't touch Kai, simply because there'd be nothing new for me. It'd all be 'old sauce', and I can't nostalgia from that stuff D:<
@Kuukai- I never said anything about disliking the Cell saga for any other reasons aside from the plotline. And if I'd seen the JP version, I'm positive that Wakamoto's godliness would have convinced me that plotline - or lack thereof - isn't a reason to detest anything. But, I saw the English version. And that just goes to show how lack of a godly VA really does bring out a series' bad points...

Well, it's not so much that I'm trying to convince you to watch Kai/change your opinion, but you did say that you wouldn't touch Kai just because anything after Freiza was bleh, so I was just trying to explain what Kai actually is. I honestly thought you were clueless 'bout it 8U Sorry if you thought I was trying to change your mind about it/it isn't nostalgic enough for ya, though. (even if they're not gonna change much OTL)
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that I haven't read the manga either; but I don't see the point of liking an adaptation of something more than the actual source material. It's like saying that how the ending of Death Note or Claymore's animes were better than how they ended/are ending in the manga. Makes no sense to me even if you haven't read it xD
EDIT AGAIN @ the above: Actually, I can understand there being exceptions to that, but for DBZ, I don't think it's an exception xD

More than likely yes, and I hope so. I do wish Dragonball could be remade. I like Goku adventures as a kid.

What do you think of the ending in FMA Brotherhood? This epic anime just ended.

I like how things ended in chapter 108 of FMA. That ending is way better than FMA 1.

I believe you mean the Manga has just ended, which is still only called FMA instead of Brotherhood. They slapped on that title for the anime (which is still running, but has 3 episodes left) so people wouldn't get confused XD
AuraTwilight wrote:The manga's still running, so who cares?
Uh, no? The manga just ended recently : o FMA Brotherhood also only has 3 episodes left, and at their current pace, they're going to end things like the manga, which is what they originally intended to do, so that's great.

Word of God says there's still possibly going to be one more omake chapter regarding Al's visit to Xing, so yea, it's kind of still running.
