Not many people actually use those over the stronger attacks though.

And that's why you try not to face the same person twice.

I never had an issue with facing the same person twice. My sets usually never had a problem with that.

R&B (Doesn't take a genius to figure out I used the Missingno. Glitch)
Mewtwo [Swift, Psychic, Recover, Seismic Toss]
Charizard [Slash, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Seismic Toss]
Zapdos [Fly, Thunderbolt, Drill Peck, Thunder]
Golem [Earthquake, Rock Throw, Dig, Seismic Toss]
Alakasm [Swift, Psychic, Recover, Seismic Toss]
Machamp [Seismic Toss, Submission, Mega Kick, Earthquake]

G&S (used copy glitch with pokemon and items)
Lugia [Aeroblast, Recover, Surf, Psychic]
Mewtwo [Shadow Ball, Psychic, Zap Cannon, Recover]
(Red) Gyarados [Waterfall, Crunch, Dragon Rage, Earthquake]
Zapdos [Fly, Thunderbolt, Drill Peck, Thunder]
Charizard [Flamethrower, Wing Attack, Mud-Slap, Steel Wing]
Sneasel [Faint Attack, Ice Punch, Fury Cutter, Bite] (Could only get Bite when raised from a baby)

(Skipped Ruby and Sapphire)

D&P
Garchomp [Dragon Claw, Sandstorm, Dig, Crunch]
Garchomp [Dragon Claw, Sandstorm, Earthquake, Crunch]
Zapdos [Fly, Thunderbolt, Drill Peck, Thunder]
Empoleon [Drill Peck, Surf, Ice Beam, Steel Wing]
Arcanine [Extreme Speed, Fire Fang, Flare Blitz, Crunch] (Flare Blitz and Crunch were Egg only moves, hated raising it from an egg)
Weavile [Night Slash, Avalanche, X-scissor, Aerial Ace] (Aerial Ace was the only flying move I could teach it, and it needed against fighting types.)

Not proud to say that I also manipulated the cloning glitch many times in Gen II.

...I feel like the only person in the world who thought that R/S > D/P >_>

Can't really say the same about Emerald and Platinum, though... I find myself enjoying Platinum much more than I did Emerald in spite of the abundance of Poochyena in the start >_<

I feel like the only person in the world who stopped caring after G/S/C.
GOD R/B/G/Y was awesome, G/S/C a close second. Only things likable for me in later generations are Gardevoir and Cynthia (they both look so faaaaabulous~<3).

Bayleef, Butterfree and Umbreon. After them I stopped caring.

I would've enjoyed it more if it had better Pokemon, but storyline wise, it's pretty good it actually gave you a reason to fight every gym leader

And yeah, again I feel like I'm the only person who liked the Pokemon in Gen 3... after seeing Bidoof I kind of lost most of my faith in Gen 4 >_<

When I first saw Lucario, I completely feel in love with it. Same thing with Carnivine. Pretty much got into Gen IV

I can't remember if I liked Ruby and Sapphire more than Diamond and Pearl- but I do remember staying up really really late/early even on a school night just to play Sapphire xD So I'm guessin' I liked it bunches, as did my sister who did the same thing~

as for the 4th Generation, I actually thought Darkrai, Arceus, and Shaymin were pretty cool >_> Pachirisu's cute too, and so is Bunneary kinda. I think Lopunny is pretty, and Luxray is cool. and Cherrim in positive form is just adorable. (Plus everyone knows that Lucario is cool even if he looks more like a Sonic character than anything)

While 4th generation isn't my fave, I found it at the very least, "interesting" XD and I kinda liked it a tad more than 3rd generation.. (though 1st and second are always my faves)

P.S. I don't like Bidoof either, and it's not even the buck teeth that bother me D: *mentioning that in case anyone actually is bothered by that*

I loved Silver the most. And yes, there was a big difference between that and Gold. Mainly because of the legendary birds levels in them. Lugia was the better bird, and it could only have Aeroblast in Silver without having to go to the move tutor.

Haha, Silver was my first game so it's also my favorite xD It's either my favorite, or my second favorite- and the only one for me who can top it would be Crystal. First female playable character, and I really liked the way the the legends/myths were told with an air of mystery to them. It was almost kinda realistic and it really made me feel like a ruin explorer or something xD I don't think any of the new generations or even past stuff can top it story-wise. (Though I did kinda jump in Platinum when Giratina flies at ya. Yeah I'm a sissy >_>)

...funny story, I was playing Platinum in the car on my way home earlier, and I was looking for a Ralts near Hearthome City, hoping and praying that the one I caught would be female so it wouldn't evolve into Gallade XD

(Although that's more for reasons that I wanted a Gardevoir to replace my Kadabra since there was little chance of me evolving it anytime soon and I wanted a (special) Psychic-type for my team... I do eventually want to get Gallade, but not right now XD Not to mention, er, having a female makes it easy to get more of 'em XD)

But yeah, reasons I played Diamond long enough to get five or six gym badges were because there were a lot of promising evolutions to my old favorites (such as Sneasel) and then there was Buizel and Finneon and Combee and Luxray and sooo many other awesomeities (including Lucario) to look forward to XD
