Yuri: well chance I dont know something about revyeteils allows them to read it and well the reason I can read it is well dont be alarmed but I'm sort of special my father was a human knight and my mother was a reyveteil normmaly what rayne said is true why didnt my parents give birth to a girl well they did but a few years before me alot of people dont understand how I am part reyveiteil I'm more dominate human but like a reyeveiteil I can read hymnos and use a tiny bit off magic but I cant really control it and I dont have to sing so because oof this I was treated diffrently then others but it never really bothered me well there you have it now none outside this room can know about this okay it got messy last time people figured me out so I would appreciate it if you dont mention this to anyone k not even my land lady knows about this { he sits down in a chair} ohh and if you go upstairs I'd stay away from my study if you dont like messes that is so yeah thats the story I'm weird huh you can get the name calling over with if you want too

I guess I won't get the chance to learn [Hymmnos] then. Chance folds his hands together. "Yuri, do you honestly think who your parents are will cause me to act any differently to you than how I act to anybody else? Now I'll admit I am jealous, but that's because I'm a bastard without any parents. Now then, would anybody else like tea?" He cranes his neck so that he can see into the kitchen. Project number two... "I'm going to go buy some before I get to work on anything else. Unless of course there's something else either of you would like me to do?"

Rayne gasped slightly, covering her mouth as she did so. After a few seconds, she lowered her hand again, keeping her gaze held on Yuri. "So...You're neither a full human, nor a full Reyvateil? That should be impossible..." She paused, trying despritely to gather her thoughts. "That's amazing, though, Yuri...It truely is. I don't see why anyone would call you anything short of astounding for that."

Rayne saw an open chair and took a seat, this time looking over to Chance. "I suppose you don't know that much about Reyvateils, do you Chance? If you ever have any questions, just ask, and I'll do my best to help clarify, alright? Um, anyways, [Hymmnos] are a special language that only Reyvateils are able to read. It was around many, many years ago, though it was slightly different then, and was the primary spoken language of ancient shamens. When they built the first tower of Ar Tonelico, they took this language and optimized it so they could better control the Tower and it's communications. Now we Reyvateils use the [Hymmnos] and the Towers to cast song magic from our emotions, though the casting itself and the ways we usually become able to craft our songs are a story all it's own. Does that help you any?"

Yuri: huh really you think thats amazing huh well technically I shouldnt even exist so I am sort of a freak but it doesnt matter what others think I'm me and as you said it should be impossible so yeah keep it secret allright well thats my story like I said weird but its weird nones ever thought it was amazing thanks for the complement { he looks away to hide his expression} really thanks { he looks back at them} allright I'm starving lets eat! { he sits down} and if if you want you can read some of these books if you wanted and chance well we'll start your training when ever you want

It had to be hard growing up neither a human nor a Reyvateil, especially with how some people chose to treat full Reyvateils. I hope he doesn't honestly think he's a freak for what he is...

Rayne stood and began walking towards the kitchen, deciding to carry on Yuri's previous conversation instead of dwindling on a part she assumed was harder to talk about than others. "Thank you for saying I can read your books sometime. You two stay here and rest up some from before, though. I'll go and make dinner, if you don't mind me sort of raiding your cabinets, that is, Yuri."

Once she reached the door, Rayne turned back around towards them with a light color on her cheeks once more. "Oh! I almost forgot to ask. I'm sorry. Um, I'll have to work with what you have for now, Yuri, but do you two have any suggestions on things I should, or shouldn't, make? I'd hate to make something that one of you, or even worse, both of you, didn't like.."

Yuri: its fine no matter what you make I'm sure its good cause I havent had a home cooked meal since I was child its ghonna be good I can tell just cook what you want too okay { he sits back in his chair with his feet on the table with a pile of books behind him and he picks one up and starts reading} so chance what do you want to eat and rayne reallly its fine you dont have to ask so much about stuff like that okay you can do what you feel like when you feel like all I ask in return is that you act like you wwould around anyone else that wasent a knight

They're asking what I want to eat? Wow, this is, unexpected. "Anything's fine, I'm not picky, but if you could avoid making gruel. That would be appreciated." Chance couldn't bring himself to sit down so he leaned against a wall and began fidgeting some. After being trained to act for so long, simply sitting was a little, frustrating. He could wait motionless for hours if he had to, but simply sitting around like this was a bit of a foreign concept. "So, Yuri, what kind of training are you going to put me through? Swordsmanship? Running? Weights? Or do you have something more unusual planned?" His future training was quite an interesting thought. Yuri had broken from his expectations on every other aspect. He'd be a little disappointed if his training would stay about the same.

"Alright. I can handle those conditions." Rayne turned back towards the kitchen, but paused in the doorway facing away from the two men behind her. "Um, Yuri? Well, I just wanted to let you, well, both of you know that I'm not really acting as I am simply because of your statuses, but because this is how I've always acted. I do apologize if it bothers you, however, and if that's the case, I can try being a little different with how I act, okay?" She turned her head back towards them and smiled softly before turning back around and walking into the kitchen completely for the first time.

Besides a slight mess, it wasn't a bad kitchen. It was well equipped and from just looking around, Rayne noticed a lot of non-perishable foods that would definally make a few big meals. So, now the question is, what should I make with what all Yuri has in supply?

Going along with her instincts, Rayne grabbed a few things and began combining them in various dishes, some frying in a skillet, and some in bowls on the counter, all of which she had found and dug out.

Yuri: rayne if you need help finding anything just ask okay so chance if you must know your training may be like hell or youd wish for your death because I plan to give you the same trainging my master gave me which let me tell you was horrible and well left scars in my memory and left me with a debt of over 3000000000 okay so youd better be ready

"Well, at least it should be interesting." He casts his eyes around the room. "And it doesn't look like it's stopped you from amassing a bit of a fortune in books. Wait, master? But Legalius said that you skipped out on your training, and just came back and beat the crap out of your mentor." Chance had moved closer to Yuri and had stopped fidgeting.

Yuri: yeah that master wasent my master I trained with a diffrent master Kirin he was ubeliveably strong I couldnt beat hm no matter how much I tried the master I had at the academy it sucked but my other master was a good master unfortunately he dissapeared and well I'll train you in the ways he taught me

" No! That can't be. He wouldn't do that sort of thing. It must be an impostor. I've known him ever since his training days. I know he wouldn't do anything like this!" He walked out of the room infuriated. *I know he wouldn't do this thing* he thought to him self.

Lucine walked through town after some time in the forest. People were already keeping out of her way, some sneering as she continued. Sirius was just leaving with his money when he saw her. "Hey." She looked towards him, not seeming surprised. "What are you doing out of the forest? Normally you go out only at a time for food. Now, you're out in the middle of this day. Why?"

"Someone asked me to end the world. I didn't see a reason not to." She turned, walking. Sirius' eyes widened, running after her. "Are you coming for a reason?"

"I suppose to convince you not to."

"Good luck."

Yuri: allright seeing hpw dinner is being cooked chance come outside were gonna see how well you can handle that sword of yours hey Rayne we'll be outside if you need anything { drags him outside and he stands back away from him and he stands idly} allright anytime come at me full force dont hold back k

Chance nods once, takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. Full force, got it. He adjusts his grip to better accommodate both hands and hefts the blade up over his head and then dashes at Yuri, his footfalls making no sound as they race across the earth, he hops into the air less than two steps away from Yuri, and brings the sword arcing down towards his mentor's head.

Yuri: heh your to slow { he jabs chance in the fast lightly but with the speed of the punch he knocks chance a foot back and then and then he lets chance have a breather for a sec but then yuri picks up a wooden training sword} so you think before you act huh well looks like were opposites in that get back to your ready stance now attack my sword its a training sword so it should be easy for you to break so it wont be alot of work just break it and you pass that sounds fair right you just have to break it while were sparring you use your sword k { he gets into a regular stance} okay I'll move now { he shifts his footing and he immediatly rushes at chance} if you think 2 much youll die if you think to little youll die even it out trust me if you even it out youll be able to break this sword if you dont youll have no chance to even come close to breaking it { he slams the sword into chances and he clashes with him and then he jumps back}

Although the blows he had received was jarring, Chance didn't give Yuri the time to land and jumped after him. Just break it. He swung the blade out wide, a usually dangerous move, but with Yuri still not having his footing yet he'd take the risk. It's just hardened wood so... The arc was wide enough that he had to let go with his left hand which he moved up to his right shoulder. As the weapons clashed he lashed out with his left hand and grabbed hold of Yuri's stilled weapon, pulling it towards himself as he brings his right fist forward and slammed the bottom of his hilt into Yuri's blade shattering it. He held the tip of the broken sword to Yuri's neck for a moment before dropping it and stepping back. "I was thinking about what you said. Full force. Swinging it overhead like I did provides the maximum velocity and thus force with my weapon. And then that I had to break your weapon. Most of that was muscle memory though. But, that arcing slash was a calculated risk."

Yuri: { pieces of the sword hit chance in the head and the hilt hits chance in the head} ahh gravity isnt she the **** you good job but you were alow thats how at tthe last minute before you hit it I throw the sword at a angle if your hands r feeling numb then we can continue if they dont then unfortunately we have to continue okay defend yourself the best you can I'll show you something and see if you can till me how many times I slash you need to get faster and you have to be able to see movements like their in slow motion okay just get ready and watch carefully

"Sounds like something useful for a strategist, like myself." When Yuri started to move Chance dropped his sword behind him and pulled out a knife, allowing him to block more of the blows, but he knew he had taken at least five solid hits, but he had protected all of his vitals with either the knife or his metal gauntlet.

Yuri: { he stops behind chance and he pivots and he dashes past chance with out chancee noticing andf he jumps into a tree and sits on a branch while a after image slashes at chance} * I wonder if he counted if we did then we can probabaly call it a day only iff he counted correctly with that last strike*
