(Okay, I'm glad everyone followed the rules.^^ Sorry I havn't replied as much, I' was busy studing for an exam. And also, Aiperonoflight, Im very very impressed by how accurate your illustration of Indigo turned out! :D Awesome job! -And one last thing, the BOSS was actually the sheep, NOT the king Chim Chim so sorry if there was some confusion. ^^; Anyways, lets keep up this awesome roleplay! Our views are increasing. ^^)

After Yoshikuni landed the final blow to the sheep monster, it fell to the ground in front of him and let out a small groan. Indigo quickly approached the fallen creature and studied it as it lay in the floor. She began to wonder why it hadn't vanished after the finishing strike. The rest of players noticed this too and began crowding around the defeated sheep. It seemed as though it was actually in some form of pain.

"But it's just a game..." Indigo thought.

Suddenly, there was thunderous tremor around the room. Indigo collasped right behind Yoshikuni but grabbed on to his shoulder. "S-sorry." She muttered.

The sheep suddenly began floating upwards in it's defeated position; almost as if it were levitating. Small bubbles re-emerged from it's black furr and quickly surrounded it. It wasn't long before it had accumulated into one large mass of darkness on the ceiling. Everyone seemed shocked and confused, and shortly afterwards the tremor subsided. Indigo gasped as she realized just how massive the black dots had gotten above her. She placed herself in battle position.

"I don't get it. I thought we had defeated it." She shouted. The rest could hear a hint of fear in her voice as she spoke, but she wasn't aware of it herself.

And then...

A long mass of black extended itself from the darkness and reached out towards Indigo; it almost looked like a hand coming to get her. Too frightened to even move, she closed her eyes without wishing to know what was going to happen next. But just when it seemed like the dark arm was in reach, a bright blue orb appeared just above Indigo and right in the direction of the arm. Within the light an armored male player appeared and with a large two-handed sword he slashed at the arm; this created a wave of blue light that shot back to the black mass and divided it into two parts.

"Everyone, get out of here!" He commanded as he landed on the ground. "This place is too dangerous."

The black mass fused together within seconds of the attack and not long after that it countered with a group of black arms that stretched out towards the mysterious armored man. With another strike from his over-sized sword he destroyed the hands and before it hit the source, the black mass vanished around the ceiling leaving not even a trace behind.

There was a silence around the room just then. Indigo couldnt believe what was going on, and she didn't really know WHAT was going on either. Who was this guy, anyway? And how did he defeat the black mass in two strikes? Once again new questions were arising in this confusing quest and unfortunately, not enough answers.

"Who are you?" She asked the man, a little hesistant. "And what was that...thing?!"

The armoured man turned around to face Indigo. Her face was covered in sweat, and she seemed exhausted.

"I told you to leave...I told all of you." He said, looking at everyone. "Why didn't you listen to me?"

((I had exams a week or so ago, i doubt anyone blames you. Thanks! To be honest I love your character design :D ))

Yoshikuni stared at the mysterious man who had just appeared. The dungeon's light was too faint to make out a face, however, by his armor he knew it was a very strange character design. One he had never seen before.
"Yes! Who are you?!" Yoshikuni inquired. Though he could hardly make out the mans face, Yoahikuni saw a look of loathing on the man's face.
"Theres no time for formalities right now! GET OUT OF HERE!" the shadowy man said. Yoshikuni rested his hand on Indigo's shoulder.
"Indigo..." he said in sympathy. "I know how painful this may be, but we must go now before something worse happens"
Her ruby eyes told him she wasn't yet ready to go, he took his hand off her shoulder and stood back. He sighed ambiguously, not knowing where he stood in this situation. He was contradicting himself in entirety. Why? He thought to him self why am I forgetting all I stand for? Help yourself, then everyone follows after. Isn't that my motto? Well, for now I think I should have a new motto...
"The danger grows with every second PLEASE GO NOW!" screamed the man. Yoshikuni nodded and attempted to herd everyone away from this battle. Yoshikuni knew that the man knew that they were there the whole time. The room started to shake and Yoshikuni started to run toward safety.

(Thanks for the compliment. ^^)

As soon as the second tremor began Indigo took a step back and starred at the armored man. She could feel tears wanting to burst out of her eyes as she tried not to think about Sauna, or the hacker she was suppose to meet. And it suddenly hit her; she realized that this player was no regular person. He wore expensive and powerful armor, and his sword was among the most strongest she had ever seen. Perhaps this 'stranger' was actually the hacker himself. Indigo's tears began to fall from her eyes and stream down her cheeks. She ran towards the man and placed her Duel Blade an inch from his neck at an astonishing speed. She lifted her head and looked up at him with her eyes a red-ish color.

"It's YOU, isn't it? Your the man who sent me the message!" She shouted in anger. Her Duel blade made contact with his skin then. "Tell me! Why are you doing this? Why?"

Besides Yoshikuni, the rest of the players looked at her shocked, once again. They didn't know her true motive for having sought out the players and entering the event. They had no idea that her younger brother Sauna was in extremely ill, and that a hacker had sent her a message from Sauna's account that same day as well.

"You have no idea who your speaking to, do you?" The man asked. "And no, I don't know what your talking about...so back off!" He commanded and Indigo was pushed by some invisible force onto the wall behind her. When she landed on the ground she looked at him, trying not to cry anymore. She was convinced he was the hacker.

"And just in case you havn't realized it yet, I'm a System Administrador for [The World]." He continued. "My name is Clasko."

Indigo's eyes lit up in disbelief and she looked down in dissapointment. "Your an...administer?" She asked. "But...you can't be...you just, cant." She was suddenly crying again over the headset. The administrador noticed her sobbings over her voice and lowered his sword. He approacher her slowly, feeling like he had gone a little too far.

"Listen, forgive me but you and your friends are gonna have to leave...what ever that black mass was, it might come again. And besides, after that creature, this area has become unstable and dangerous." He said in a more calming voice. "The tremors on the ground are proof that this area might fail to operate if you don't leave soon."

Indigo struggled to get herself up again, but did so anyways. She looked at Clasko and gazed into his eyes. She knew he was telling the truth. He didn't seem like the type of guy who would do such a thing. Not wasting anymore time she cleared her tears off of her eyes and then placed her Duel Blades behind her. The tremor was becoming less impacting, but it was still too dangerous. She walked passed the man slowly and approached the rest of the party.

"I'm sorry, for everything that happened but...we should leave now." She said in a depressing voice. She turned to look at Clasko one more time before deciding to leave. "...anyways, thanks."

She regrouped with the others and waited for everyone to gate out of the area.

((No problem :D ))
"Indigo..." Yoshikuni said, reaching out to grab her hand. "Don't worry, you can tell me why you brought us all together. The reason is never worse than being afraid to tell others. I think we can all agree on that, and that all we want to do is help. I've decided to abandon any other intention at the current time. I won't rest until everything makes sense"

He tried to smile, but it was to difficult. He made an akward smirk but decided it was not the time. Yoshikuni could tell she turned off her mic on her FMD so he stood back.

"Thank you." Indigo replied, as she gave Yoshikuni a look of gratitude. She was impressed by his concern and his atempt at making her feel better. At the same time she couldn't help thinking that nothing was gained, even after everything that occured.

"Well, I'm going to leave already...I don't feel safe here." She said and ran towards the Floating Orb located at the edge of room. When she reached it she was enveloped in the blue aura and her character dissapeared soon after. It wasn't long before the rest of the players also exited the Temple. As soon as Yoshikuni, Keith, Kuipier, and Kyu had all left, Clasko took a moment to osberve his surroundings. He felt as though he was being watched but he couldn't loose anymore time. He would have to close the field for regular users until the disturbance was dealt with. Even so he saw very little use in re-opening the field afterwards seeing as how the game itself was to be shut down in less than ten days.

Clasko sighed and sheathed his over-sized sword behind him. In a flash of blinding light it vanished. Soon after wards his character was surrounded by the blue aura and he too, vanished from the scene.

In the ceiling above, a small black bubble burst out of sight.

>>>>-Root Town of Dol-Dona

BGM:>>Illigal Entry (.Hack//Liminality OST)<<

After the unexplainable events that occured in field "Entwined Insightful OldWorld", the party members had regrouped with each other in a small area just outside the root town of Dol Donna. All of them stood under the Oak tree; the place most of them had met Indigo in the beginning.

"There is something I want to tell all of you. " Indigo said as she looked at everyone. She wasn't accustomed to revealing her motives but she felt like she had to tell everyone eitherway. If anything would have happened to any one of them it would have been her fault because she was the one who requested help--at least, thats how she saw things. "It's about...why I wanted to take the event in the first place. I need to be honest."

There was an uncomfortable silence around the group just then; with only the distant sounds of chatter and the soft breeze surrounding them. Indigo embraced her arms in front of her and looked away, trying to avoid their eyes.

"You see, my little brother Sauna...his terribly ill in the real world. In fact, as I speak he is in the hospital--nearly unconscious." She began. "I don't know how he got sick-and none of the doctors have a clue as to why his in that condition. All i know is, that just a couple of hours ago, after i had returned home from the hospital..." She paused for while. She could feel a knot forming in her throat. "When I logged back in I saw that i had a message...a message from his character in [The World]. He told me to find him at Entwined Insightful Oldworld...and i was convinced it was a hacker so i wanted...I wanted to get other players to join me so i could get further inside the Temple."

The breeze lifted her hair from her eyes, and they saw small tears drying themselves on her sheeks.

"I thought we would come across the hacker, and I could find out why he would do such a thing...but...In the end the only thing I found was just trouble, and more trouble. I'm so sorry. I wasted everyone's time. Will you forgive me?"

(I thought "Illigal Entry" was fitting for the situation. So just imagine the song playing during Indigo's dialogue.)

"Nothing was wasted for me Indigo." Yoshikuni tried to comfort her though no one else seemed to try to, as they where in shock still. "Some people, they ask me, why I still play this game. And when they do ask, I remember exactly what is worth fighting for in this world. That is exactly why I still play, and perhaps, when I saw your post, I knew I could help. Please, allow us to help. When you have more people going toward a common purpose, it won't seem so very distant. This is why you need good friends to help you! Like me, and everyone else here!" He gave a confident and somewhat brave look to her, hoping she might smile.
"But whatever you do, you have to try. Become stronger! I'll help!" He gave her a thumbs up and a half-smile.

Indigo lifted her head and smiled kindly towards Yoshikuni, who actually seemed very willing to help her out. She could feel some of pressure slowly begin to fade away, but she knew she would have to get everyone's responce to this as well. She released herself from the embrace and looked directly towards Yoshikuni. "Thank you, once more. I feel honored to have such a friend...I truely do. But, I don't want to bother you with my personal issues. I mean, I don't even know whats going to happen now." She seemed saddened, a little but she changed her attitude and smiled instead. "Who ever that hacker was, maybe he will stop playing such foolish acts and stop after today. So I don't think we need to worry about it."

Indigo knew the drama was unlikely to end just like that but she did what she could to contain her concern. Just like in the real world she always pretended to be tough, even in hard times. Eversince she was sent of to private school away from her parents she grew socially distant and depended on herself to achieve most things. It was something she was acustomed to now.

Indigo watched as Kyo approached the group and dumped the items he had obtained from the Temple. He seemed bothered, but once he noticed Indigo's face and everyone else's impression he paused. "Huh?"

"Hello there, Kyo. I was actually hoping to meet with you. After all, I promised everyone a gift for helping me. And also since you actually helped me, I think I'll give you one too." Indigo replied. She had a smile on her face that almost rendered Kyo speechless.

>>> CC-Corporation Administration Room in [The World]

BGM: Lost Ground (.Hack//Roots OST)

Clasko stood in the middle of a rather large pillar that stretched from an abyss down below. Above him a large screen that filled a great distance floated. And all around him were other several screens but all of them were much smaller in size. Clasko was present in the administration room secretly located in the game. It was a place where admins could contact other CC-Corp administrators or organize information; as well as monitor the game. Eversince the game was declared to stop operating less monitoring was done.

As soon as the large screen lit up, Clasko shifted all of his attention to it. A large CC-Corp logo covered the screen and suddenly a large voice echoed around him. "Welcome Clasko. What is the meaning of your presence here?" It asked.

"I'm here to report another bug sighting in the game. Unfortunately this was the second one to escape before commencing the debugging program. And soon afterwards it dissapeared completely from [The World]'s parameters. Just like the previous one..."

There was a temporary silence, but the unknown voice replied again. "I see..." It said. "It is puzzling how the existence has adapted such strange behavior. Not to mention that its new skills have made our efforts to delete their "D-factor" that much difficult."

"Never the less keep the location of it's appearance closed off. I have an experienced user searching for the existence in the outskirts of the game's parameters. Valuable data has been attained and it has also been confirmed that small traces have indeed been detected. Although, it seems they are 'different' than those that lurk within the game...I will keep you informed, Clasko. For now continue monitoring the game for any more signs of the anomaly. And thank you for the report. You are dismissed."

Suddenly the logo vanished from the screen and it became black. Clasko looked down and wondered, just what was occuring outside of the game's parameters. With only a couple of days before the game closed down for everyone, he began to question what would become of the existence his superior spoke about. Eversince the incident a month ago the supposed virus escaped the system leaving only small traces behind. It would seem as though those small traces were beginning to leave the game itself aswell...

Clasko sighed and turned around, with his eyes closed. He was then covered in a special red aura and his character vanished from the Administration Room.

((Once again, imagine the song playing during Clasko's meeting with the CC-Corp superior.))

"Keith calm down!" Yoshikuni scolded. "Kyo helped us, and we should be greatful for that at the very least!" Kyo didn't seem to mind all that much but it still bothered Yoshikuni. He turned to indigo. "Indigo, don't think that facade is tricking anyone. We all know that you want to know what is wrong with Sauna as much as the rest of us. Please Indigo...I know the situation you're in. Being the older sibling you think you shouldn't cry, you think you need to be strong. Indigo, I think, if you're going to try to help your brother, you need to make a promise now to accept whatever outcome we should find." He looked at her, his eyes filled with sympathy.

For some reason Indigo released a smile when she saw Kyo and Keith argueing, and then giggled. Perhaps it was because despite the conflict they were still able to maintain their happiness, and Indigo wanted to be like that. She hated the fact that eversince Sauna fell ill she herself had also fallen-but into a deep depression. She took a deep breath and then looked at everyone with renewed content.

"I guess I did wrong in hiding the truth, huh." She said, embrassing her arms. "But I promise I won't do that again. And...well, I know that whatever happens you'll all be by my side."

She turned around and looked at her surroundings. It seemed like most of the players had already logged out. It was nighttime where she lived and she knew she would have to wake up early the day after and attend classes. She didn't want to leave but she knew better. She turned around again and faced the party members.

"Well not to be rude or anything, but I have to go now...I have an important class tomorrow morning. But i promise as soon as come back to my dorm I'll log online and message each of you if anything comes up." She said, releasing her arms and getting ready to take off. "Besides we still need to figure out whos the one responcible for hacking into Sauna's account. And-well I really had fun today, somewhat. So I hope to see you tommarow as well. Good bye everyone!"

With that said she was surrounded in the blue aura and she vanished from under the oak tree. Immediately afterwards a message was sent to Kyo. It was Indigo's member address.

>>>...

>>>...

Indigo placed the headset slowly on her desk and glanced at the watch besides her laptop. It was past her "bed-time" so she knew she would wake up a little late the next day. Afterwards she stood up and removed her bracelets from her arm as well as her necklace. She climbed onto her bed and turned looking towards the window. It was dark outside, but she could see the stars clearly. The moon was distant and blurry, and there was no breeze at all outside either.

"Another quiet night." She whispered.

In that moment she thought about everything that occured. She thought back to the mysterious dissapearance of the dragon, the appearance of the strange King Chim Chim, the secret passage and the hidden Boss, and finally the Lost Sheep. She realized that the quest didn't really make sense.

"Why "lost sheep"?" She asked herself. "Why would the hacker send me there? Did he know the sheep would turn out to be a monster? Did he want us to die in the process...just to waste our time, I bet."

Without wishing to make sense of it any longer she closed her eyes and drifted into a deep slumber. What little light that came through made itself onto her cheeks; besides the bed stood an old protrait of her holding her little brother. It was during a trip to Alaska.

((Just to make sure you all understand this, the end of this post signals the end of the FIRST day. Which means there are NINE days left. Please log your characters out for the day, or keep playing if you wish. But in my next post I will commence the second day and therefore anything that occured before my post cannot continue afterwards; Unless, of course, it takes place the next day. Hello Indigo,
I wanted to appologize if I scared you when I first met you in, Entwined Insightful Old-World. To be honest, I had other intentions than to help you at first. But that's all over now and I hope we can be good friends. I thought I saw a reply on your BBS topic advertising for more players to join you, but as soon as I saw it it was deleted. Strangely enough it was gibberish to begin with so I couldn't make any sense of it. I'll be on tomorrow, would you like to meet somewhere? If so I have the perfect idea for where.

Hope to see you then,
Yoshikuni

>>>Having received a message from her ill brother Sauna, Indigo rushed to find the culprit. But to continue her search she was forced to seek the help of other users online and take on the quest [Lost Sheep]. Oddly enough the quest only raised more questions than answers for Indigo.First they were ambushed by a strange form of King Chim Chim who brought them nothing but trouble once inside the Temple. Second, they found a secret passage and a hidden Boss. Third they actually found the [Lost Sheep] only to figure out it was actually a monster; and no normal one either. Before things got out of hand a System Administrador appeared and urged everyone to leave the unbalanced field. Afterwards, Indigo forced herself to reveal her true motives and was forgiven for her actions. Unfortunately she did not find the hacker of her brother's account...

DAY 9
As soon as class had finished, Indigo received a phone call from her friend. They would meet together and eat at a local restaurant where the both of them ate some tasty ramen soup. The place was somewhat crowded and the smell of good food lingered at every corner. Not to mention the sound of constant conversation also filled the air.
Indigo released her fingers from the stick and looked down at the table. She gave a sigh and her friend looked at her, worried.

"I take it your brother hasn't improved..." He said, feeling very akward. "I don't know how you may feel but it's not good dwelling on it. Im sure he'll get better soon."

Indigo looked up at him and smiled. "Thank you for your concern, but...I just dont know if he'll get better. I mean, it's been four days almost. No one still knows whats wrong with him. And, and I feel like Im the only one doing something." Her friend paused for a little and starred at Indigo.

"What do you mean, your the only one? Is there something you know that others don't?" He asked.
"No. I wish I knew something but I'm just as lost. It's just...thats how I feel ,you know. " She replied and looked at the window by herside. It was sunny outside.

Suddenly, she felt the warm hand of her friend above her own. Startled, she turned and looked at him. He simply lifted his other arm and overed her hand. "Don't worry." He said. "I'm going to be by your side. So what ever you need, I'm here." Indigo could feel the redness form on her cheeks. She looked away trying to avoid his gaze.
"Thank you..." She said softly.

>>>...
Welcome to...[The World]!

Indigo's hand froze upon the appearance of yet another message from Sauna. She felt another cold chill on her back and even began to feel a little sick. She couldn't understand why someone would be doing this, especially considering Sauna's condition. Was it to get back at him for something? Was it simply a game? Or...before thinking about it any further she clicked on the message and it's full view appeared. It read;

"Indigo, please forgive me for not showing up. When I started searching for you, I realized you were gone. And then, everything turned dark. I was soo scared. I don't know what to do know...I'm lost. I feel as though everything is a dream lately. I keep hearing you cry...and i hear your voice, but...I can't see you anywhere. If you are so close to me, why do I feel so apart?

Indigo...please come get me. The shadows have voices...and I feel them coming for me. There is only one place thats safe for me, but I want to search for you. Sister, please come to [Unseeing Forbidden Paradise]. This time, I will go. And sister,...please have faith
."

"I don't understand anymore..." She said. "Could it be, but, it just can't. Why does it sound so much like him? He can't possibly be doing this....not Sauna...not my brother. Who...who is doing this to me?" She could feel the cold tears wanting to form in the edges of her eyes, but she closed them tightly and strengthened her grip on the mouse. She could just imagine PK'ing who ever was doing this instantly.

"I won't let him have his way." She continued, struggling to keep the tears away."I'm going no matter what."

Root Town of Dol Dona

Before deciding to head out towards the field Indigo made sure to place some unnecessary items in the Item Bank. She then hurried towards the Chaos Gate and suddenly realized she had a "New Message". The icon of a letter blinked in the top right corner of her screen. Hopeing it was another message from Sauna she quickly opened the mail but discovered it was from Yoshikuni instead.

She sighed and released a smile and then closed the window. She decided to invite him, along with everyone else to the field. She felt as though she had to. With that she sent out a message to everyone. Oddly enough within seconds, she heard the familair voice of Keith behind her. He seemed overjoyed, as usual and was happy to see Indigo again.
"Heeeey!" He shouted. "Indigo! It's me, the one and only, Keith. YOUR hero!"

Indigo let out a small giggle and waited for him to reach her. "Good morning, Keith." She greeted. "I just sent a message to everyone, including you. I was hoping you can accompany me on another adventure....well actually..."
Keith looked at her now concerned. "It's about your little bro, isn't it? Did you get another message or something?

"...y-yes. I did." She replied, hesistant.

There was another moment of silence as the both waited for everyone else to arrive at Dol Dona.
