Saddest anime death

Saddest deaths for me..
Hm.. I know there's more.. oh! *MAJOR FMA SPOILERS*   Ed and Al's deathfest at the end of the FMA anime

 but neither of them died, so i'd say its no where near as sad, maybe though while its happening

Ohhhhh, man, I would have to say that the saddest death that I have seen in any anime would have to be, the death of Major Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist. The funeral scene actually made me shed a tear and for me was one of those more unforgettable moments.

I've only seen  Hughes' death in the manga, so I dunno if it differs, but it sure made me upset.

And, I actually think the death of the  inner senshi in the first season of Sailor Moon was more heartbreaking. And Mars kicked so much ass with her final death throes!

I think the saddest death I have ever seen was  the death of Chrono and Rosette in the Chrono Crusade anime. No valiant battle death, there... time just ticked away.  And pretty much all they did was for naught. The manga ending was a little easier on the heart strings, thankfully, and more fulfilling.

Havent been reading posts so sorry if somone said this. When Sailor Uranus and Neptune died in Sailor stars. It was sad. They killed Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn just so they could pretend to be on Galaxia's team and get power from her, then kill her. But they failed, Galaxia killed them and they had a lesbian moment before they died.

Tamers was the best season of Digimon EVAR!

I can remember the time when Beelzemon triedto save Jeri using Fist of The Beast King, which pretty much made her head explode when she saw it. That was a pretty sad moment.

It was pretty sad seeing the Uchiha clan get killed on Saturday, not so much because I sawit, but because ofwhat little Sasuke had to see. Itachi is such an a-hole for making Sasuke watch him kill their whole family. That'z a kewl technigue though.

ANYONE see Blood+ last night? I got teary-eyed. I didn't cry, but I wanted to. I have a real hard time crying, even if I want to... But still, I saw George was okay and thought "Yes, he's goin to make it!". Then, I heard there was D67 in his IV and thought "Oh ****...". Sure enough, he started to turn, and Saya had to do him in... *sniffle* T-Then, she kicked some serious Chiroteran ass, so it was just awesome...

I suppose I agree. A lot of people liked the first two seasons because they were lighthearted. Season 3 went in an entirely different direction. It wasn't really bad, just different. That was the point where people completely sepereated Digimon from Pokemon. :3

I suppose I agree. A lot of people liked the first two seasons because they were lighthearted. Season 3 went in an entirely different direction. It wasn't really bad, just different. That was the point where people completely sepereated Digimon from Pokemon. :3

It has got to be the saddest death since Aerith. People cut themselves over this.

Oh! Oh! This anime also had the death of Nina. That brought a tear to my eye, but I respect Scar immensly for doing what he had to. She/They wanted to die anyway. Might as well make it quick and practically painless.

D:< Oddly enough, Scar's death wasn't sad to me. I felt he finally got some peace and quiet. It was satisfying... and he saved Alphonse!
