Adam had turned his face back to look at Hikaru, having found her words completely useless. " Who was it back then that decided to take Uraki? The roles would had been reversed if you took Minoshiya instead...your just sore over the fact that he's stronger now aren't you? " He had stared at her, having found his words that lies and fake it seems...she wasn't mad about that.
He laughed again, having suddenly stabbed his hand into her stomach. Having gone through and shot it out of her back, his fist visible as it was covered with the black orbs which AIDA were made from. " Look at you...you're delusional with such concepts such as pain for beings such as us...face reality my dear child...we have no pain because we're no longer human, we've evolved past that horrible shell... " He had whispered, getting onto his feet as he held her body and then looked at Minoshiya. " Let me guess....you won't let me? " He had said, Minoshiya having shook his head in refusing his desire as Adam had sighed and threw Hikaru past Minsohiya and to Glace's feet. " I'd give her a minute considering she was made from my other rib...but who knows nowadays. " He had shouted out, flicking his bloodied hand.
Mino had looked back at Hikaru, having smiled weakly. She seemed the feisty type and acted too much on emotions. " None of you know what your fighting against.. " He had commented, having looked at their PC chars and knew that only Uraki and Glace were among useful considering they could use Data Drain. " Eve is above the game's perimeter...you guys won't last if you're still bound by that. " He had commented, coughing as he raised the apple again, this was the only thing that kept Adam from leashing out and slaughtering all of them at the time. " I wonder...what any of you would do..without Uraki and Glace... " He had said, looking at them quite darkly. He raised his other hand as a white orb appeared, having thrown it towards them as it shattered and split into small orbs of light which went to each character giving them a Lost Ground Weapon,what they did with it he didn't care. " My...Last Gift I guess...trying to repay you all for the toruble I've caused... " He had said as he lowered his head and looked down at the apple again. He had raised it and started to take bites at it, chomping away at the apple like an animal rather than being civilized.

Chaos examined his new weapon. It had the abilities 'critical attack + 10%', 'backstab', and '7@t4 &!@73'. The last skill, at first glance appeared corrupted. He didn't know what it could have been, so he put it out of his mind for a moment and began to try to break free of the bonds that held him. The simple fact that he couldn't move didn't stop him. He had decided he'd keep trying until he'd run out of energy. He knew the spell would eventually wear out, but he had decided he would try as hard as he could to break free. He had to do something. Adam was going to get something from Minoshiya. He didn't like the idea of it. "Damnit... let me GO!" Chaos shouted. He was tired of waiting, tired of planning. He wanted to actually do something of value, and he wouldn't be able to do it just sitting there.

I stared at the new item by my feet. A long blade, almost like a katana shown. "What... " I moaned, "My old blade... but somehow... its different." I reached down to pick it up as memories shot through my skull.
Flashback.
OST: Dancing for Rain - Rise Agaisnt (didnt know if were allowed using songs outside of the dothack usinverse)
A woman stood, facing the body of her enemy. Her eyes soaked with tears and rain pouring down around her. The perfect field for such a melancholy moment. She stood on a small island, there was nothing else here... just an island and him. Her eyes shook furiously as she tried to keep them open. Blood poured from her enemy's side.
"What... how is this...?" she asked to no one. "Your... bleeding." She took a step back as the body wrigled.
"So you can see this, my fair lady?" he whispered as he rose to his feet slowly, blood still pouring from his wound. "This world... is just as real as yours for you... to some of us. I bleed as I have yet evolved past your state... and my wish is to be more, my greed has led me to this. God plays no favour to those who try and take it all."
The rain pounded harder drowning out his quiet voice. "B-but I just saw you yesterday!" she cried. "Remember... we ate lunch together in the cafeteria!" A small speckle of hope could be seen in her eye. "...remember?"
"Im sorry Apple... I made a promise with God, my body was left behind in order for me to chase a path of immortality. The divine sephir... who wouldnt want that!? A chance to rule it all and finally beat this game! I took it but as soon as I entered-"
"NO!" Apple yelled.
"-I realized I felt the pain I felt in the other world too. That it wasnt all about hitp-"
"Shut up you damn idiot! Heal yourself... youll be ok..."
He only chuckled at this response. "Everything isnt quiet that simple. God is merciless... dont take the fruit dangling in your face, Apple. It may look sweet, but its reward is... deadly." He limped forward towards the girl. "This blade your carrying. It was crafted by her. No wonder it hurts so much..."
"My sword...? I recieved it in a trade."
"With a God, I presume. Our gathering was fate, your were meant to destroy me... God's controlled all of this, making me look like a monster... changing the keywords you were teleported to. All of it was God." Slowly the thin man reached for her wrist. "Apple..." he said a tear forming underneath his eye and the muscles in his hand pulsing. "Kill me!" He pulled back on the blade forcing it into his chest. Slowly, the body fell. Droplets of blood and water flying off him, he whispered his final words, "Temptation... hah... Damn Gods..." His body disappated into the wind, as his body in real life died in the hopital.
"..." She was silence, until the tension grew and she let out a scream. "DAMMURUNG!!!!!" she cried out into the blackness of the area.
[one day later][Real World]

A teenage girl and a smaller girl stood by a grave stone.
"Did they really bury him here?" said the younger girl. She looked about 12 and had her hair slung over her face. "Poor Kevy..."
The older girl just nodded and whiped a tear from her eye. "Remember him for what he was..." she sobbed. "now what he is now. Dont refer to him as a memory cause he will live on..."
The younger girl whiped away her tear as well. "I'll see you at lunch tommorow... ok, Kevy?" she said lying down a bouquet of daisys on his grave. The girl immediatly gripped her sister by the waist. "Sister...?
"Yes...?" she responded pushing her away and putting her arm around the younger one.
"Why is God so hateful?" She didnt respond. She simply dropped her gaze to the ground and began walking to the bus stop still holding her sisters hand.
End Flashback.
"This is God's blade..." I whispered with regret. "The souls can haunt me as much as they want. I threw that blade away and it still comes back. I think... Im just gonna use my weapons for once." I reached down and my hair fell in my face again, but ididnt care. The wind cycled around me. "Im in your shoes this time Dammerung..." I stood behind my own little barrier, frozen in time to everyone else.

"Ren... What's that?" Rin murmured as a bright sphere of light drifted towards their character, before transforming into a book-staff similar to the one Rin used. Rin gazed at it in surprise.

"That's a Warlock weapon," Ren stated, disappointment evident in her voice, "Guess that means it's yours, Rin."
Rin shook her head, "No, it's yours too. :) See? It has a Sun and a Moon on it! So it's both of ours." Rin stated simply, studying the symbol of a joined sun and crescent moon etched into the front of the book.
"Only someone like you would think of something like that," Ren rolled her eyes, studying everyone else's weapons enviously, "But what can we do when we're stuck like this?"

"Ah....This is......" He looked over at the badely decaying Minoshiya. "Thank you Mino....I didnt know you as well as I should have, but I thank you with all my heart, your gift might have just saved all of us." Dex looked around at his comrades who had also acquired new weapons. "Alright everyone....lets finish this thing off once and for all, they may be Adam and Eve, but they're not that doesnt mean their God. Now that we can fight them on equal playing fields lets see how well they do!" Dex yelled pumping his arm in the air for emphasis.

"Dex, your forgetting one thing... we're still trapped. We may have the power to play on their playing field, but that doesn't mean we can play just yet. We have to wait for this spell to wear off." Chaos said in Genesis mode before returning his gaze to Glace. "Glace... if you would please." He says, suggesting the idea that Glace may have the power to release them.

Hikaru cringed on the ground in front of Glace's feet and raised her head painfully as she looked at Mino. It was not long after, that a white sphere floated towards her struggling figure. It hovered in front of her for a while, then a loud clattering sound suggested it decided to fall beside her.

Silence seemed to go on forever when Mino suddenly devoured the crimson apple in his hands. Rain mingled with blood as Hikaru could do nothing to stop him. "...No weapon...no data...none of it...is worth for this...is...worth for you..."[color] she whispered hoarsely and lay on her back, silently.

There was no response from the Harvest, but the only sound Hikaru could hear were sobs. Her hand slowly moved over to the weapon which she didn't know what form it had, then shoved the blade of the hilt or whatever it was, into the ground. She put her weight onto the weapon, staggering from the wound and then, finally managed to stand upright, but was still supported by her Lost Weapon.
"You...won't get away with this...Adam," Hikaru spoke in a louder voice. She winced as pain suddenly flowed through her body, but she didn't fall. "Even if I fall...I'm taking you with me," she said angrily, but in a weak voice. Rain and darkness shrouded her features from Adam's view, but the one thing he knew definately, was the direction of her fury.
A sheen of crimson light suddenly flowed through the other Players that were binded. The bindings suddenly faded in the crimson light, then that too disappeared.
"Don't...let him get away...with this...I'll...kill him..." Hikaru whispered, so Adam could not hear her, but the others behind her could. Guring the time the crimson light hone above the others, they saw the weapon in Hikaru's hands.
A scythe enveloped by crimson and black with a long, glowing blade was gripped in Hikaru's hands. Even though it was just a weapon, a sort of sad fury seemed to reside within it. Hikaru didn't avert her gaze behind her and ignored the rain that found it's way into her eyes. She kept her vision directly on Adam.
"Do not attempt to heal me, for the AIDA that Adam is made from has stopped any possible healing magic. Do not waste your SP. Attack him and only him, do not be distracted, but support one another. I won't let another die today," Hikaru's voice sounded to the others in GENESIS mode. It had a sad tone, but one that was hidden by anger.

"Everyone... this may be the last chance we get to strike at this guy... let's take advantage of it while we can." Chaos says calmly as he turns his attention to Minoshiya.
"Mino... I thank you for the gift... but I must not allow Adam to gain what he wants. Forgive me for what I'm about to do..." He says as he charges in and tries to knock what little was left of the apple out of his hand. He was however stopped by Adam, and blown back with a powerful attack. "Ow..." was all he said as he got back up. He didn't want to worry them, so he didn't show any sign of pain.
"Ok... that was a bad idea... heh. Glace? Dex? You two got any other ideas for an attack?" He asks the two of them as he tried a few healing items. They still worked, but barely. They restored about 10% of what they normally would, making them almost worthless.

"Y-Yessir!" Ren stammered, holding her new weapon in front of her hesitantly, "Ummmm..." She aimed the book-staff at Adam, shaking slightly. She screwed up her eyes.
"Va-Vak Dom!" She cried, sending a shower of fireballs raining on Adam. The new, stronger weapon combinded with the item Dex had given them amplified the attack's strength.
"Please work...!" Rin and Ren both whispered quietly.

Hikaru suddenly faltered and sunk to the ground, her Scythe clattering on the hard stone surface of the bridge. She coughed and blood mingled with the continuous, falling rain. No...what am I saying...it's over...we... she lay on her back and looked up at the black clouds of darkness.
There was no hope for us...in the beginning...
The Multi Weapon sighed wearily and closed her eyes. She glowed bright crimson and an azure light appeared beside her. Uraki and Hikaru were now seperate again. Uraki looked shaken, but Hikaru looked like she had sustained the more damage. But nonetheless, both of them looked weak, more than anything.

"She's deteriorating!"

The girl was surrounded by doctors as the machines around her beeped madly.

Turmoil and confusion surrounded the girl. Her eyes were closed, but her breathing came heavily.

Ao gripped firm the newly formed spear in his hands.
You have aquired "Azura's Tear"
A tinge of a bitter/sweet taste rose in his mouth. It had been far too long since he had a new weapon.. But to get one this way was almost cynical. He could no longer watch idly by now. It would almost be argoant not to fight.. He gripped the spear tight and suddenly vanished from view, just as soon as Hikaru had broken all their invisible bonds.
Suddenly, behind the flurry of Rein's fireballs a small figure could be seen following them in their desctrutive path towards Adam. As Ao desended, he screamed towards the enemy. "This is the path to our new world! A path we all will walk! Hikaru, Uraki, Glace, Chaos, Rein, Dex, Apple.. Even Minoshiya!!"
Ao's Spear was only inches away from Adam now as explosions of magic circled around them. "This is a world.. Without you!"

Adam had raised his head looking up at the fireballs as he raised his hand and formed a barrier again, smirking again as they suddenly broke through. " What?! " He had shouted as he raised his hands in self defence of the attack.
Minoshiya had turned and took out his sword, having jumped up and swatted every fireball away, soon after they were gone he turned and then dashed forward and crossed blades with Ao. " After giving your weapo nto you...you use it against me!? " He had shouted, his eyes filled with darkness as the AIDA had infected his body fully. He had clashed with him a few teimes and thenpushed him away, having panted slowly as his body had then glowed again as he took a step back. " N-no.. " He had whispered, shaking his head.
Adam had lowered his hands and sighed, shaking his head as he walked up behind Minoshiya. " You gave them annoying weapons... " He had stated, his hand moving to Minoshiya's back as a dark aura had covered Minoshiya again soothing him from all his problems. His body had then dissolved and formed into a ball as Adam giggled and held it in his hand. " I have everything now... " He had whispered, placing the orb in his chest as he took it inside and then glowed again and placed his hands to his chest.
The Thunder had started to come down upon the area as Adam had started to float as he had a wide smirk on his face glaring at them with his one eye, he had obtained it. The final piece of information, the final truth and bite from the apple that he needed to solve every question known to man. He had then suddenly leaned forward and his legs had raised themselves up to his chest, a sphere forming around him matching the one they had seen in the LOCKED incident. Black strands had been moving within the orb signalling that something was living inside as the strands had suddenly moved and then a head had looked up, a pair of eyes glowing through the orb as it suddenly cracked a wave of wind had blown them back again.
Adam's long golden locks had grown much longer than before as they now had covere dmost of his body and dragged on the floor and yet they had covered his right eye again as it was obvious he wasn't wearing a plating of armor anymore there. Instead of the beautiful golden white silk robe he had a black one replacing it, his chest heaving up and down as he took in slow breaths. He raised his head to look at them, some of the faces a bit scared and not ready for round two with him. He had smiled softly and then turned his back on them as he walked with towards the church. " Eve! Consider This...My Betrayal! " He had shouted out as he swung his hand out and the locks on the church had suddenly been pulled apart, the chains having then fallen and then turned into AIDA as it collected a two ANNA's had appeared moaning at him as they had rushed towards him. " Such a beautiful Girl... " He had whispered raising his hand as the AIDA's froze into place, the cores inside of them having suddenly turned black as he took another step and tapped the tips of their bodies.
The Large massive bodies had then turned into ice and slowly started to shatter, the small shards leaving down sparkles of white as Adam had continued his march towads the church and entered it leaving the other a moment of relief and rest for the time being. He had marched down the long corridors of the church having noticed the hanging statues of Aura hanging by chains, as he stared dwon and saw the Chaos Gate and behind that the podium that held a statue of Eve instead of Aura, and who was there to see him considering his current betrayal; Eve was in front of the chaos gate staring at him with a stern look in her face.
" Care to explain yourself? " She had uttered to him, Adam having appeared next to her all of the sudden as he was resting his hea don her shoulder and his other hand had cupped her cheek. " I never thought Humans are essential. They're crude and unspeakably plain. But maybe they've a glimmer of potential if allied to my vision and brain " He had whispered, having found a new use for Glace and his little friends. " Don't touch me, only 'he' can- " " Your Precious Mada? My you really need more IQ in that program of yours. Don't worry, I'll help you one last time and keep them entertained...but you'll soon be mine- " She had smirked and closed her eyes, having found his statement amusing as her eyes suddenly widened as she gasped out. " -And Nobody else's. " He had hissed in her ear, as his hand had gone through her stomach and had been sticking out of her back and long hair. Her body had then just turned to fade as it suddenly shattered, breaking the holy windows of the church as he had snickered knowing it was just a illusion she was sending him, no matter for him. He had taken a step forward and then disappeared in the rings of the Chaos Gate.

Glace struggled to get back up, feeling all the pain in his stomach even in the real world. Although it was beginning to fade away, he knew this pain was only a little taste of what he, along with everyone else, will have to endure in the future.
As he stood up he noticed Hikaru and Uraki seperate again and they both looked exhausted and pale. He knew this was one heck of a fight, but it wasn't the end of it. Glace sighed and reached for his sword; having barely noticed a small white orb lying next to it. Is this one of those...weapons? He asked himself. He put his blade away and grabbed the white orb. As he took hold of it, it began to shine brightly and imit a strange aura. Suddenlly it exploded into a bright light and revealed its true form: A black and white longsword with a red blade strangely crafted and decorated. Red roses were engraved on the edge of the blade. Wow. Such an elegant weapon. It will definetly sell for a high price. Still, it can come in handy. Besides, it was a gift from Mino. It has to have some purpose.He thought as he put the newly aquired blade away and sighed again.
He turned around and approached Hikaru. He placed his hand on her shoulder softly and smiled at her. "Good job, Hikaru." He said and then looked at Uraki. "You too, Uraki. Way to go."
The sound of thunder faded away and the downpour became calm. The doors to the cathedral remained fully opened as a dark and mysterious energy came over everyone in the lost ground.

Hehehe. Does he really think he can just betray me and take over? Oh you poor poor thing, you. You shall receive no mercy from me, Adam. I have everything "I" need. Now that you are no longer in my plans, you will be erased from this world and ripped away from your existence...forever. Hehehe.
An enormous neverending horizon with a sky below and above stretched across the place. A pale light surrounded the area caught between both heavens. AIDA swarmed everywhere within the area in pieces and bubbles. It moved around like swarming insects.
In the distance, Mada floated as he was restrained by AIDA. He seemed to be in another sleep, unaware of the danger he was in as a dark feminine figure floated above him. She smiled at him and approached him. She placed her hand on his cheek and curresed it. "Mada, just hang in there a little longer. The real action will be starting soon. When the fools make it here, hm...that is to say if they can, then I will begin with the second phase of my plan. You will see, I will become the new...God. Adam may think so highly of himself now, but not for long. He too has his weaknesses.
She smiled and released her arm from Mada. She embraced herself sofly and looked down towards the second heaven. Such a beautiful world I will create. Once Adam is out of the picture, and after I deal with 'her' aswell. . .this world will become all mine. Not even the so called "Administradors" will have any power left.

"Glace... I feel that you may have the most insight over what this may mean... so... what do we do next? I'm sure I speak for my team, Hikaru's team, and your team members when I say that we'll follow you to the ends of 'The World' if you'd order us to." Chaos said as he examined his weapon a little closer. It looked almost like an actual chainsaw, except modified to be a sword. It was red handled, the silver blade sparkled in the light of the area. He was still troubled about the corrupted skill, and felt he'd best ask the admins about it later, if he'd ever see them again.
It's better to ask forgiveness than permission, remember that.

Hikaru sighed wearily and stood up, supporting herself on her Scythe. "It's not the end yet, is it?" she asked in a tired voice and shook her head. It seemed that she was finally tiring of these battles, but even so, it was clear that she would stay with them until the end. Uraki stood up slowly, her arms hanging by her sides. She smiled weakly at Glace and nodded.
"We will join again, when the time comes," Uraki reassured Glace and then, she fell into a tired silence. It seemed that battle had drained much more than it had cost the small Harvest. Hikaru glanced worriedly at Uraki multiple times, but only those who were paying attention would have truly seen that.
"You have our word, Glace. We will stick with you until the end," Hikaru murmured in a soft voice and looked at Glace in the eyes. Her crimson eyes began to glow brighter as light began to creep back into the Lost Ground.

Ao stared absently into the doors of the church. His hand was near his cheast, opening and closing as if he was squeezing something in it, or feeling for something that wasn't there. "You ran away again...? No matter what we do, can we not help you...?"
The last few moments replayed in his head. It was almost surreal. Had Adam completly engulfed Minoshiya now? Were they truely one essense instead of two minds? What would this mean.. How would this change the battle? Ao moved his hand to his forheard and masseged his skull. If this was only the tip of the fight, what would be the climax?
Ao turned to the others but remained silent, only giving a small but stern nod to Glace has he stared in Ao's direction. No words were needed, Glace would know that no matter what. Ao would still follow him into the depths of this hell...

Glace nodded slowly back to Ao before looking back at Hikaru and Uraki. He couldn't do anything but smile at both of them and look away; noticing the small rays of the long forgotten twilight as they crept through the vanishing dark clouds.
Glace looked up to look at them in hopes of feeling any form of relief or peace. Everything seemed so much quieter and still now. He slowly turned to look at the tall stone cathedral and noticed the doors fully opened. He wondered if Adam was somewhere inside it, waiting for us to follow perhaps to continue the fight else where.
I'm too exhausted. I don't think I can fight like this. He thought as he crossed his arms and blew a stran of a white hair off of his eye.
He noticed something odd within the cathedral then. A strange light that illuminated the inside of the cathedral. Glace wondered if it was safe to even enter, but he knew it was the only thing they could do right now. He remembered Rasken informing them about a path to Eve's lair. If what he said was true, then that light might be coming from the entrence to Eve's lair.
"It's inside the cathedral?" He asked himself, not knowing if anyone else heard him. "I guess we better get going then." He finished, with a much more serious tone in his voice. He turned to the rest and looked at them.
"I think the path to Eve is actually inside the cathedral. I also think thats where Adam went. We must follow him."
