[Dark Blade]

Dark Blade picked up both his cut horns in his right hand. He looked at them a moment before crushing them in his palm. They turned in to black particles which reformed back on his head and healed his cut horns. "I see I am not the only walker of the darkness." He stood a moment and waited before he Gripped the blade of Obsidian with his right hand and cut himself causing blood to trickle down to the hilt. With blood on his hand he began drawing a glowing red symbol in the air.

"Diamond. Please do not interfere. I know what this will do but I must take the chance that Obsidian is up to it. He must be at full power. As should you."

"Release."

A loud rumble could be heard. Obsidian pulsed twice and absorbed the blood into his blade. An ominous aura formed around the blade. A mix of the blackest black and crimson.

"Next time I will not be caught off guard. And he will not get away from me. Next time ..." Dark Blade turned to the others in the room. "He will feel my wrath for humiliating me."

"Obsidian. You should rest. The release is rather violent and I can feel your discomfort and pain."

"Well I do feel a bit under the weather. I guess I could use a nap."

Even though he tried to joke pain could be heard in his voice. "Enjoy your rest Obsidian. You may rest as well Diamond. I know you are worried about your brother." Obsidian vanished from Dark Blade's left hand in a cloud of black particles. Shortly after Dark Blade's appearance went back to normal. When Diamond had seen him return to his normal form she vanished in a cloud of white particles and joined her brother.

FATE greeted the entering party that sat before him. The Haruna data turned out to be a completly fragmented AI, not even visible, just roaming the net (an escapee from Net Slum most likely)

When Zack and Jot arrive he would deliver the news.

Riku sat at the base and looked at his sword in thought. He hadnt used it in a while and had never used it to its full power. He looked at FATE for a second before asking "You seemed urgent. Whats wrong?" he asked eondering what kind of terrible thing could have heppened. He hadnt seen some things before even though he hacked the game a lot. He wondered how mysterious the game really was.

(spoke to jot, he needs some time off but he is staying and I can move him for now)

"I will deliver the news as soon as the others arrive, which will be shortly," replied FATE to Riku in a mechanical voice.

Jot stormed in and looked around, his heavy breathing subsided and he pulled out a chair beside the bed.
"I came as fast as I could, whats the scoop?" Jot panted as he sat down.

FATE looked at him with a sad look in his normal eye, "We have trouble, its worse than ever before, we will go over it when Zack arrives."

Zack was trotting after Riku until a wall of players suddenly walked in front of him. Well this is inconvenient. Oh well, It's not like I'm some lost kid. A player walked up to Zack. "Hey kid ya lost? You know you shouldn't play in the streets." Does this guy think he's funny? Zack ignores the player and continues walking after the parade of players ends, but he notices that he's now being followed by the player and two of his friends. Great, stalkers, that's the last thing I need right now. He breaks into a run crashing through a group of players as he crosses over the bridge and then he hops the railing so that he can jump right into the base.

He loses his footing when he hits the first step of the staircase and falls down the rest of them. "Ow ow ow." He comes to a stop at the base of the stairs. He pushes himself up to a sitting position. "Don't try that at home, or anywhere else for that matter." He gets up and takes in the room. I don't think that hole was there before. What happened while I was gone? "Sorry for the delay. Some people started following me and I had to lose them. What happened?"

As soon as Zack entered, FATE closed the door.
"All systems-- RESTORE PROTECT!" FATE nearly screamed and the entire building seemed to pulsate with a strange purple energy.
"Now we're safe, but only for now. My friends I have some very bittersweet news. One of our members, Sen, has fallen comatose. The remnants of Kite's Bracelet Data that were attatched to him drove him into insanity and he eventually fell comatose. This is in fact bad news for you Jot because the bracelet data has reinstated itself to you. You must be very careful when using it," FATE spoke solemnly, "However, on terms of good news I think we have a way to beat Alyia. However, we need to retrieve Nemfora's Staff if we want to do it, I don't know all of its functions but one of them that he did teach me previously will work fine. You all will have to enter the Sea Of Data and look for it yourselves. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!! Staying in one place too long will result in mass glitches, data bugs, any monster, or any area materializing in front of you. Consequently, it would damage The World. I think you guys can handle it though, unfortunatly in Lenae's poor health she must go as well, only AI's can keep the Sea Of Data constant, well Helba could as well. While you go, there is something I must do...." FATE paused, unable to get the words out for a moment.

"We...must.... move the Salvation Base," FATE frowned, "I really loved the location here and I will miss its comfort and ease to enter. We must move to a spot deep within the world. Somewhere where both CC Corp as well as Alyia will not find us. There are many possibilities, but I'm not sure which one to pick... Any suggestions?" FATE almost grinned as he looked around.

Riku looked at FATE for a moment. Sea of Data...I've heard of it...I think I've seen it before. He thought for a second unsure. "Who else is going?" Riku wondered. He thought he could probably hack his way around it but didnt say anything. "If you want to move the base make it somewhere that isnt part of the game but somewhere everyone can reach." Riku said leaving to find the Sea of Data.

FATE interjected,
"Entry into the Sea Of Data should be conducted by an AI, thats why Lenae must go. I will need the strength of everyone to protect her. Remain constantly viligant and be most careful."

FATE considered Riku's words....
"It would be difficult, but we may be able to transport the Headquarters to a Lost Ground, the Net Slum, The Creators Room, or one of the remaining White Room's. Alyia has a chance of finding us in the Net Slum, and CC Corp monitors the Lost Grounds on occasion. Although the Creators Room would be the best option, it could prove to be unstable and in one second we would all be in the middle of Mac Anu. The situation is bittersweet to say the least," FATE frowned, "What do you guys think?"

Riku stared at him. "Why not just make a place? If you do it right CC corp might not find out about it. And you could probably do it with your power."

"The see of Data, huh? Well this should be very interesting and informative. And if we run into any strange AIs, I have a few things I'd like to try, with your permission of course."

Clea's Morganna Bracelett glows.

"All that knowledge....just waiting there. And knowledge is power, as we all know."

FATE nodded curtly to Clea,
"Use your power to any extent you wish, as we are still uncertain of what to do. I do however warn all of you not to look, mention, or even think about Aura while there. Her name tends to call upon entities too dangerous."


"As for our own area, it can be done but we need the staff to do it. Until then I suppose I will just try to hold the enemy off. When we create it, you will all have the benefit of contributing and creating your own areas. It will be difficult though, and all the bracelets will be needed to surpass the system and open the editor."

Not really for a decent hacker. Riku thought for a second. He looked around. He might miss the place. "Can we go now?" Riku asked wanting to do something since nothing had been happening lately.

FATE's eye flickered for a second, "Actually, I have no recollection of entering the Sea of Data, I had been within the Tree of Light for quite some time. Unless Lenae knows, we will have to ask one of the older AI's such as Tartarga."

" I do have one question though. Could Dark Blade come with me. I'm kind of scared going by myself. I don't know what might happen if I use my scythe or any of my fighting abilities there." Lenae said with a tone of fear in her voice.

From the way FATE describes it, this sea of data sounds like a dangerous place for an AI like myself. I am also afraid of Alyia catching me again. I don't think I would do so well if she caught me again... Lenae thought as chills ran up her spine.

She then got up off of the bed and using her scythe to help her walk, she walked over to FATE.

" Have you seen blaze? I haven't seen him and I was wondering if you knew where he was." Lenae said with a smile. Little did she know that he was unconsious in the corner, and badly wounded.

I hope blaze is ok. Lenae thought to herself.

FATE's eye flickered for a second, "Actually, I have no recollection of entering the Sea of Data, I had been within the Tree of Light for quite some time. Unless Lenae knows, we will have to ask one of the older AI's such as Tartarga."

" The sea of Data? I haven't been there in a while but...I think I could get us in. I do not recall how to get out though, if you wish I can open a portal there." Lenae said with a smile.

"I wouldnt go in unless you can out. But i probably know a way. Still we should probably think about how we're going to get the staff. I think we should just look for Nemfora. He probably has it." Riku said sitting against the wall waiting for anyone else who would probably come.

Zack watched Lenae hobble around with her scythe. She's still hurt pretty bad, and I don't think she could handle another encounter with Alyia. She did a lot of horrible things to Lenae last time.

"FATE, you said that it had to be an AI to delve into The Sea of Data, correct? That doesn't mean that it has to be Lenae." He looks at the faces of the group wondering if they followed where he was going with this. "I'm an AI, I could go in her stead. And if I bring Torch with me then we should be able to communicate through Calcifer, if he ever wakes up."

If FATE does decide to use me. The worst case scenario would be that I get deleted. That's not so bad. I certainly deserve it. And Lenae is needed a lot more than I am.

[Dark Blade]

Dark Blade poked Calcifer a few times to get his attention. "Hey. Wake up ya little firefly. Their talking about you." Calcifer stirred and one blue eye opened slightly. "Your buddy over there wants you to be a relay station for when he enters the sea of data. You up for it?" Dark Blade felt a motion on his head that felt like a nod followed by an unmistakable yawn, which he knew meant Cal had gone back to sleep. Dark Blade shook his head slowly from side to side and rolled his eyes. "Your enthusiasm is staggering." He said sarcasticaly.

"Well I would say he'll do it. And don't worry i'll keep him awake. Lazy little puffball."

Dark Blade went over to one of the far walls to lean on it and be where he could watch everyone when what Lenae said about Blaze struck him. "OH NO!" Dark Blade yelled and when he did everyone looked. "BLAZE! He was fighting with Ember earlier! Where is he?! I didn't see what happened to him after!" He quickly started scanning the room and rubble from his quick encounter with the dark knight, looking for Blaze.

FATE nodded in agreement, "Yes, I should've considered that before. Allow Lenae to open the gate and I would like you Zack to lead the group into the Sea Of Data."

His eye flashed and he looked as if he understood,
"Right... I have a warning for all of you," He turned to Clea, "Now Clea, I know you seek knowledge, and my sources of informed me of a wandering AI that may prove as useful information to you. It is the AI Harald. Yes, or at least he claims to be. However, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING HE SAYS TOO SERIOUSLY! The AI Harald speaks metaphorically and may be contaminated with AIDA. Be careful, but do go through with it."

He smiled at Lenae, "I'm afraid you will have to take care of Blaze for a while rather then him take care of you. I'll open a small medical ward if you wish, and you can stay here when they go."

"You've got it, Fate. Besides, there may just be more valuable things there. Even moreso than the AI Harald. And with our power and intelligence combined, working together, we can handle whatever comes our way in the Sea of Data!"
