I doubt hes gonna kick the bucket. For the fact he was able to hold off the AIDA in his arm for how long? Plus he only went power berserk how many times during that length of time? On top of that who is his avatar?

Is he going to die? I highly doubt it. If he does hell prob come back in another form like everything else does in .hack.

Aura has returned for the umpteenth time. Balmung's face mysteriously appears in the night lit starry sky. I think that All the Phases will return to the Ultimate A.I once their objective(in which I don´t know) is concluded, because the Ultimate A.I. is them and they are it, just like in the end of IMOQ.

The Phases are one with Morganna, not the Ultimate AI.

No, they're both infected. An Epitaph PC can be infected while the Avatar can be normal, like with Endrance, or the Avatar can be infected while the PC is fine, like with Pi, or both, like with Atoli and Ovan.

And assuming he is a good guy after all, the fact that he isn't joining Haseo seems to hint that something bad is going to happen to him. And even if he was good after all he still caused alot of misery to people with his actions even if there was good intentions in the end. I think him dying would be a great plot point and a moving scene if done right.

His PC might be destroyed, but it doesn't mean he'll die. Besides, they've already killed Phyllo, Mia, almost all the AI's, and possibly Aura and Zefie. Ovan would be pushing it.

Nah, he'd have to regenerate. Like with the Bracelet, they'd have to destroy the Avatars first. But Basically, yea.

I'll bet that this will prolly be like another Mia scene, where he dies, and at the very end of the game you revive him.

Also, apparently Cubia isn't in Ovan's PC (which deals a hit to the Cubia=AIDA theory) but just hiding under Morrigu Barrow Wall.

Unless you get all trippy Boogiepop and say that that was only Cubia's symbolic representation and the data is still in Ovan's arm. Bleh.

Really? Badass. That makes the conversation Ovan had with Yata at the Wall so wonderfully ironic, ("so, what do you suppose is behind this wall?") it's so fitting to taunt Yata when the source of his project's problems is literally under him.

I think it wasnt there before...And when it escaped from Ovan it decided to hide there, for some unknown reason.

If it was there before, i believe Atoli should've sensed him more than the AIDA lockers. And if what the scan says its true -that the event at Morrigu Barrow happens after the 'last' battle, and you have the option to continue or retreat-, then this theory could work:
You fight Ovan-Corbenik, you fight Corbenik-Cubia, you fight huge planet Cubia, then Cubia completely escapes from there and hides below Morrigu Barrow.

i dont wanna fight the meatball....if ovan does die...he could be reborn when corbinek leaves him....maybe...

If Ovan is going to die, hell do it in style and wont go down like a wuss .
