Ayu really is far behind Shinsen...

That reminds me, the series ended this past week I believe. I'm curious to see how it ends but I still believe that another season will be made.

As for me, I'm still behind on the subs. I'm almost caught up now though; currently on episode 17.

Yeah,Shinsen have released 21 and 22 but I've not been on since my laptop is down.I've got 4 episodes to watch still then get 19-22

:? further behind than you, season 1 seemed like a final ending with several lose strings not tied up but there was more.

@_@ So with the looks of it there should be another since I doubt they'll tie up the backgrounds and information.Hopefully Kikori's story will be revealed in the released episodes since i'm sure no hints have been given yet >_> also I've not seen that spider, coincedence?

Edit: Funi have licensed Jigoku Shoujo

"Funi has picked up the twenty-four episode series Jigoku Shoujo ("Hell Girl"), which will start coming out on DVD in October 2007. Its characters are ordinary people with deep grudges, and Enma Ai is the mysterious girl who helps them get revenge... as long as they're willing to pay the right price. (Source: AoD)"

Yeah, I heard the news. The October release seemed sudden to me...although it technically is still about half a year away...=P

I have some doubts about Funimation being able to pull some of the voices off but that's just the purist in me talking. I'm also worried about how plain the DVD releases might be as I'm hoping for a special edition release...

In the end however, I'll just have to be patient and hope for the best.

@_@ I was trying to guess who'd they would use for Ai's voice actor, heck any character from previous works. Also One Piece has become Funimation's project now but i'm sure you've heard >_> just one site said it was false but then I find on theotaku.com the opposite and an interview.

:? Usually new series get starter boxsets and Funimation make uncut dvds aswell unlike the attempts of 4kids.Also even if the dubs aren't good they have the original dialogue in subtitles (like Yu Yu Hakusho). ^-^

Edit:Shinsen have released episode 23

Same here, had college work to do (graded unit) and haven't had the time.

Guessing all the remaining episodes will be related to the previous episode.
