Well my friend plays runescape a lot. He says there is a lot of hackers on there.

yeah, its an awesome game, but sometimes peoples accounts can get hacked, and they can lost all of their items.

I made 6m in that game without odign any real work. I got a whip from a lvl 25 (he looted it in da wildernesS). I gave him full rune for it. then i found 1.1m in a dungeon place under lumbridge swamps ( i think thats the name). I did some merchanting and yeah, thats how i made around 6.7m.

I have a level 90 something or other character but I don't play anymore... I have 80 mill 2 Party Hats full mask set 7 easter eggs, a pumpkin... god knows what else.... =)

lolol I would actually let you use it to pk but my bank is full and I have all my p hats on me.. (lost members)

Oh and if you are wondering how I got it all... I used to stake when Members was new and you could duel anywhere (lumbridge)

I was the head of a guild that survived both versions of the game.
It was called the "Golden Dragons Guild".

Sheesh, I still play this game.
Not quite as much as I used to, but I still love to merchant and help out the few friends I have on there. Friends are the only thing that keep me coming back there, without those friends I would have no competition.

Finally reached lvl over 91, had been banned again since last post made on this topic, took a hard training session during 4 weekends and lvled up like crazy! Only thing that I am doing now is earning more money for retirement. I have to reach 90 mage sometime soon, so I'm gonna need another 120 mil, unfortunately I've only got 38 mil to merchant with, so this is gonna take more time!

2 words..."it sucks" i played it...had a really high level character...90-100 something...then it just got...boring...i thought it was way too addictive, and people need to spend more time outside actually accomplishing something rather than staring at runescape for a million hours a day...

I agree.. that game can consume your soul! -.-' Seriously though... back when I was in school I failed and ended up dropping out of the second semester to play it. Than some kid lost a lot of his rune items and started saying he was gonna kill himself. What a pain it is talking a guy down because he doesn't think he has anything to live for but a game. Glad I don't do that anymore! *gets week supply of cheetos and mini pizzas ready for the launch of GU 2*

Personally, if it wasn't for runescape I would have been failing school, and would be taking remidial classes now.
Whatever game someone plays, and what it does for them, is all up to that person... fortunately, I haven't had any sort of draw backs, except that now I am not as lazy and I have more chores to do.

i played runescape for awhile never got very rich in it like the most money i ever got was like 750k. Was a member but i dropped it so i could play World of Warcraft. I actually played on there for a bit one time last week just to see whats changed. I still had my zombie head on me when i logged on and that was from the holloween event god knows how long ago. I'm lvl 87 by the way.

I am level 80 something as well. Runescape IS an addicting game. its like waht my freind said. Runescape is not really fun, its just addicting.

i spent far to many hours playing that game.

If I were not playing Runescape, I would be playing some other game, as all I care about for hobbies are games.
For me, Runescape is fun and challenging. The way I see it is, hey, if I find a game that I like more as an online massive multiplayer game, that I can also enjoy/find challenging, then I would be playing it.
Lol, I would be playing Digimon: the online massive multiplayer game, but it's only in Japanese right now. The only games I'll replace hobbies with have to be: free/low fee, online massive multiplayer, fun & challenging, and either to be downloaded or played through a browser.
And that's why I've been playing Runescape for nearly 4 years now.

ugh i hate that game sooo much. I got to lv 57 and hated every minute of it. The graphics sucked, the combat REALLY sucked,.....actually EVERY single thing on that game sucked, worst MMORPG i ever played.
