Like the scene where the father and the teacher are talking, but the father keeps changing the subjet to when he accidently killed the school hamster.

Somewhat. Anyways, about the cat, I think Haruka could talk to it. I think they did communicate. The cat was too lazy anyways.

Actually it has a very deep story if you look closely enough, rivaling that of paranoia agent or Lain. The entire series is a big hidden story about growing up and learning to be an adult instead of a kid. And how difficult the transition between the two is.

Didn't we already establish something along those lines on the first or second page?

Where do i begin? This anime really inspired me in alot of ways, though i am totally against j-pop the way in recruited P! (The Pillows) in it was quite interesting. The characters were an odd blend of crazy personalities to cute shy ones. Even a character like myself (who smokes too much >.>) hah, this is definately ONE of my favorites and i will have to fight anyone who disagrees.
i know you cant see my small asian guns BUT IM A BODYBUILDER. hah
(that was a joke... seriously if you ever saw me in real life youd freak out if i was standing near a crack "AHH DONT FALL IN")

How it ends in the manga is really weird. Alot different and weirder than the anime. For reals.
