Twin Blade "doesn't exist."

Dance of the Macabre, as I believe it is called, is the new Twin Blade class, and which someone said was the class of Tri-edge.

Tri-Edge doesn't seem to have a class, as I've mentioned before, he's 'unclassified', while all other characters revealed have been given a class, Tri-Edge has been given no class.

I believe Tri-Edge is some form of Vagrant AI, similar to Aura, Zefie and Lycoris, he doesn't have the attributes of any Class in this World, and, therefore, is 'unclassified'.

why did they get rid of the old classes. so in other words some how tri-edge (aka kite) kept his twin blades and now is even more illegal than in the first games.

The Twin Blade-esque weapons seem to be Danse Macabre weapons, as Yata uses a pair of blades, or fans, like a twin blade.

However, if Tri-Edge was a Danse Macabre, why wouldn't they say so? Why keep us all in the dark when Yata's class was confirmed?

When did I say that? I just told you the Twin Blade-esque weapons aren't exclusive to the Multi-Weapon class.

We will be playing as Haseo, in the same way we played Kite in the last four, that has been confirmed.

As for the classes themselves, we know there are ten, but only eight have been confirmed:-

1. Multi-Weapon - Haseo
2. Harvest - Atoli
3. Steam Gunner - Kuhn, Ovan
4. Danse Macabre - Yata
5. Warlock - Sakubo, Gaspard
6. Blade - Endrance, Silabus, Bordeaux
7. Grappler - Pai
8. Brandish - Sakaki, Grein
9. Twin Sword - Negimaru
10. ???

It looks to be that way...

Who's gonna bet that the last class is a Pole-Arm class of some sort?

As for a list, with the apparent weapon types...

1. Multi-Weapon - Name says it all, can use just about any weapon
2. Harvest - Staffs
3. Steam Gunner - Gun with a blade attachment
4. Danse Macabre - Twin fans, there may be variations
5. Warlock - Books
6. Blade - Swords
7. Grappler - None, possibly gauntlets
8. Brandish - Heavy swords and axes
9. Twin Swords - Two short swords
10. Unknown

I hope they still have heavy axes and pole arms. Those are my favorite classes >.<
I like the idea that maybe Tri-Edge is some sort of old data from the previous World. Maybe he's a copy of Kite, like the (failed)copies of Tsukasa that were picked up and taken to the Net Slum?

My thoughts on the classes and who gets what

Multi-Weapon: Haseo
Warlock: Sakubo (I think warlock is the equivalent of a wavemaster who uses magic for offense)
Steam Gunner: Ovan
Harvest: Yata (probably a type of thief)
Grappler:Pai (I am thinking it means a fighter class like Ouhka)
Blade: Kuhn (that's what my instincts are telling me)
Dance of Death: Yata
Healer: Atoli (Healer is likely a wavemaster who uses healing and support magic that boosts stats)

There isn't a "healer" class. It's possible that the Harvest class could have healing abilities though.

Also, Umbra's class list is correct.

These are the Classes and their corresponding characters. Remember, there aren't any healers.

This has been confirmed by Shinsou, Harvests are the healing class.

Heavy-Axemen seem to have been coupled with Heavy Blades to make the Brandish class, Grein and Sakaki, both of the same class, have weapons that resemble those of the two original classes respectively.

Ten of ten

The final class has been revealed.
重槍士 - Partisan. It seems to be, both in name and in characteristics, very much like the old Long Arm class.
