"Well, you take four points, so you'll live… but you're at half health, I fear. If you heal me, I'll gain 1d8+1 life, or you can choose to give it to yourself. Depends on how you want to handle the concept of utility here," he stated as he smiled at her. "If you give it to me, we'll have people, but your skill is slightly more useful than mine, so you're probably the more valuable person for the health."

Steve smiled at her as he continued sitting. "Okay, unless you WANT her to slash at you, you need some space, and the handsome gentlemen on both sides of you should act as your bulwark to protect you from her trying to interrupt your spell. IF you cast within her range, she gets an attack that can potentially interrupt your spell. If you move out of her range, you're free to cast, but be careful of allies in the area of effect. Attacks can't tell friend from Foe generally."

"I'm gonna go ahead and heal you then, we need people." said Alice.

Steve hopped to his feet and smiled at her. "Thanks," he said as he looked at the enemy and tossed up a dice. "Roll for initiative," he stated with a wide smile.

Alice then rolled her dice and got a 20, "Woohoo! Alright you roll for damage now Z." said Alice.

Steve laughed. "Finally, you called me Z," he stated as he patted her on the back. "But with that you do maximum damage. 39 damage to our foe," he stated with a broad smile. He knew that would be that.
