Entertainment and food. Without us 90% of Africa would die of boredom and hunger. Haiti would look like Fallout 3. And the Mexican's wouldn't have anywhere to get decent medical treatment!
We have conquered, and taken land from the Natives. We took part of what Mexico had after the Mexican American War. Our leader doesn't control anything, but has much say so in many things. Maybe not soon, but later America has to fall. This might be the beginning of that.

Right now look at the current generation. This generation is getting better, and worse at the same time. We have more opportunities, but we are falling behind other counties in what really matters in some areas. The core values for many in this generation are being lost. Look at teen pregnancies, crime from youth, etc. These things always happens, but still they happen much more now.

America is screwing itself up.

Other countries have done similar things, but you don't claim that they're going to fall.
we are falling behind other counties in what really matters in some areas
Examples?
crime from youth
There's actually been a significant drop in crime since the late 80s-early 90s.

Not only that, but the teen pregnancies are predominantly happening in the Bible Belt, so it's Christianity's fault for not teaching proper sex education.

With the youth crime thing I mean just look at what you hear on the news. You have young kids planning to kills their parents, have sex, etc. It not really surprising that it is the Christian's fault. Teens emulate whats on tv. I want to be an American Juno, or I going to try methamphetamine.

This generations are getting stupid, and when that happens it leads to a country to fall. America is falling behind in education. America has the best education opportunities, but a lot of teens are throwing that out of the window. Countries like China, and Japan has smarter kids than the US.

It is the parents fault that this generation is messing up.

Newsflash. People have ALWAYS been like this. Just because you hear about it on TV and the internet doesn't mean there's more of it, only that we're aware of more of it because back in the day, we didn't have TV and internet, and people's dark secrets weren't laid bare for millions to see.
This generations are getting stupid, and when that happens it leads to a country to fall. America is falling behind in education. America has the best education opportunities, but a lot of teens are throwing that out of the window. Countries like China, and Japan has smarter kids than the US.
Humanity has always been stupid. China and Japan aren't smarter than Americans, they just have a better education system and more motivated students, which is entirely different.

America does not have the best education opportunities; we're actually one of the worst in the developed nations and have one of the most underfunded public education systems in the entire 1st world.

You're not one to be calling anyone "stupid."
It is the parents fault that this generation is messing up.
Well, partially them, partially the generation itself, partially the greater media and government's, partly religion's, partly yours...

The deterioration of an entire f*cking social infrastructure is multifactoral. You can't just point at one thing and say that's the reason why things suck.

I don't think Japan and China have a better education system either, or that there's even a good way to judge it, since universally adults don't actually seem to get an amazing benefit from all those years of education. When people freak out about other countries it's because they don't understand population size or something. China should be kicking our ass, they have over quadruple our population. Unless you're a racist, that means four times as many smart people. Economically they aren't even close to fully realizing the potential of them all yet, but that's where they're headed. Japan has about half our population, and economically is one of the closest countries in the world to us, with very little to hold back someone talented who just happened to be born in the countryside. So you're bound to run into a lot of people from China and Japan in America's universities and job market. It has less to do with governments and more to do with sheer numbers. It's not anyone's shortcoming, it's the way the world should work. While we still have any amount of leverage we should do our best to ensure the government of the 1.3 billion Chinese people isn't totally insane, but China being successful is just fair.

Well, right, granted. I was going off testing scores, since that was what was more or less being addressed, though admittedly it was kind of fallacious from the minute it got brought up.

I was wrong to give this bill the facepalm. When something fails so bad it deserves the double facepalm. Many doctors doesn't support Obama's health care reform. Obama is just like Bush. After a few years if not already now people won't be able to stand Obama being in office. Obama's bill can potentially destroy the USA economy. The things I hate he did was gun control laws, and now this crap.

In my opinion health care is something you earn for your hard work. Whether anyone pays for it, or not is their business. If someone wants to sit on their ass, and something happens to them that is their problem. Sure health care is a lot of money out of the wallet, but isn't most things in society. This is why people work. This bill is unconstitutional in some areas. If health care is a right then it is the governments role to protect that right. The thing is it is not a right.

The USA spends more on health care than anyone else. That wouldn't such a problem if many Americans just took better care of themselves. I know people will likely encounter some health problems, but most can be avoided.

Turn off Fox News and Conservative radio. Please. For your own good. All you are doing is regurgitating their headlines without supporting anything you are saying.

It really doesn't matter what news station you listen to. They slander the opposite party, and in a way supports each other. If a Democratic is f*cking up a Republican is bound to f*ck sooner or later as well. The parties have divided the USA. If would be better if they could work together, but that won't happen anytime soon.

What about the people who do work hard, but can't make enough to AFFORD healthcare? So what you're saying is, the poor garbage truck driver who didn't have any opportunities for any other jobs, who constantly takes double shifts just to pay for the rent on his shitty apartment while trying to support his wife and their newborn child, doesn't have a right to be healthy? So, if he gets hit by a car on the way home, needs an organ transplant, but doesn't have the money or insurance to pay, that's just tough **** for him, right?

Also, would you please tell me HOW the bill is unconstitutional?

You haven't described how it fails.
Many doctors doesn't support Obama's health care reform.
Who are "Many doctors?" What are their names? Can I read their testimonies anywhere? What are their credentials and their political leanings? "Many doctors" can mean f*cking anything.
Obama is just like Bush.
Are you retarded?
After a few years if not already now people won't be able to stand Obama being in office. Obama's bill can potentially destroy the USA economy. The things I hate he did was gun control laws, and now this crap.
You know absolutely nothing about the bill or the economy.

As for the gun control laws, if you're talking about what I think you are, then you don't know anything about that either; it was only a ban on guns that civilians were never meant to have because they have no function outside of military use. Jesus, are you capable of gathering information and thinking for yourself at all?
In my opinion health care is something you earn for your hard work.
You have to EARN the right to be healthy and alive? f*ck you and everyone who thinks like you.
Whether anyone pays for it, or not is their business. If someone wants to sit on their ass, and something happens to them that is their problem. Sure health care is a lot of money out of the wallet, but isn't most things in society. This is why people work.
Again, you understand nothing about how health care and the economy actually works. Without this bill, the entire nation pays MORE if someone gets hurt. The government technically has to take care of a person's medical care either way, because doctors aren't allowed to just not f*cking treat you.
This bill is unconstitutional in some areas.
You've never even read the Constitution, have you?
If health care is a right then it is the governments role to protect that right. The thing is it is not a right.
Yes, it is. It's called The Right To Life.
The USA spends more on health care than anyone else.
Wrong.
That wouldn't such a problem if many Americans just took better care of themselves. I know people will likely encounter some health problems, but most can be avoided.
"Rape wouldn't be such a problem if girls didn't look so damn sexy."

If that's what you honestly believe, then atleast listen to both sides. It's explicitly obvious that you're only listening to the conservative propaganda, or parroting the opinions of your parents, or something.

People that work hard should have health care, but would this bill really decrease the cost of what people pay overall? If would at first, but then they will start to tax the hell out of people. The economy will have its good periods, and bad ones. It can correct itself without the government interfering with a major health care reform bill.

Actually, from what I've heard, many private-practice doctors won't be able to take patients insured by Medicare, so they'll lose quite a bit of business. So, they don't agree with it because they won't make as much money anymore. However, doctors working in hospitals that have salaried jobs won't be affected by it.
People that work hard should have health care
No, everyone should be entitled to heathcare. You think that just because someone has been unemployed for a few years, they deserve to get sick and die, just because they haven't had the same motivation to go out and find a job like someone else? Do you also think that you have to work hard to have the right to call the police if you're in danger?

Seriously, I think that if you went up to any doctor and asked him if he/she thought that only certain people deserve healthcare, he/she would tell you no. They EXIST to help those who can't help themselves, whether that person if a hard worker, or a lazy bum.

Uh, newsflash, dumbass, this Health Care bill is about more than the current economic crisis, it's about how the health care industry is completely broken and has been for decades.

I also love how the only way you're able to detract from the bill is by assuming someone's going to f*ck things up with taxes. If the government was going to "tax the hell out of people" it wouldn't need a bill to do it, and infact it wouldn't WANT this bill, because any money taxed from the people under this bill can't be used for the government's own benefits.

You're basically saying we shouldn't sell fruit, because someone could buy them all up and force everyone else to get scurvy, and that that evil guy will stick up the grocery store with a banana.

Good god, please: Do you ACTUALLY KNOW what this bill is about? Have you read it? Where did you get your information on this bill, assuming you're not just watching Fox News or pulling it out of your dingle-berries?

-Feels like the only honest person on the net- I don't know anything about the bill, so I am not going to comment on it. ._.;

(can anyone point me in the direction to where I can read it?)

I would like to read it before I make an opinion on it.
