would you survive?

I would bring my 4 or 5 closest friends and have them equipped with:

1. Tight clothing, but comfortable
2. 45mm Handgun
3. Medkits (just in case)
4. Backpacks filled with rations and ammo
5. ipods for when i go zombie hunting
6. lock picking tools, lighters, etc.
7. cars since we can all drive
8. Water
9. Cellphones
10. Finally all of us would have some form of a melee weapon. I could use my machete and my friends could use whatever they have.
We wouldn't hide. We would probably try to clear out zones of towns, blockade them off, and make them somewhat livable for the most part as we build up the resistance. Then bring survivors there to protect the area while we go out and expand our turf.
