But who knows? Maybe 2012 it's the beginning of the end

Fun timescale:

I was watching a show on the history channel about the Chemical Weapons that are being disposed of, and the timeframe of completion was 2012.

Honestly, I've been through more 'End of the World' scares that the only thing I worry about, is being in urban areas on those day ranges, due to rioting.

To un-nerve you however, let's read about some big issues in the Bioweapon facilities. Stuff like that could make 2012 an optimistic date.

I'm glad someone posted a poll like this. I believe the world WON'T end in 2012, but I've hoping it will ever since I heard about the prediction. If the meek will inherit the Earth, then I have nothing to fear from this "apocalypse." DIE, WORLD, DIE! AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it will happen by human cause, not by something natural. 12/12/12 is just a way to make 6/6/6 look bad since its twice that. On 6/6/6 I had one of the greatest days of my life
So yeah, if it does happen it might be a nuke frenzy, the stock market gone, or major riots and rebels.

Honestly, no human being could possibly know when the world will end or any shizz like that.
So maybe the world will end in 2012, maybe it won't. I'm not going to worry about it though.

I have a bit of trouble believing in the supernatural, including prophecies. I look and believe the scientific proof, which is why I believe Earth is going to end when our sun goes supernova. Unless I see the papers headlining this:

Oceania is at war with Eurasia. Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
Then the next day it's:
Oceania is at war with Eastasia. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.
And someone comes up to me and asks if I know Oldspeak. Then I'll start to get worried.

And if you didn't understand that referance, you need to read more sci-fi books.

i think the world isn't going to end,but if this condition still like this(globalwarming,such as like that) in 2024,the eternal ice in north pole will melt,and maybe that is the end of the world

Personally I just think that the peole who made the callender just got lazy and decided to stop making it that is what I think.

I think this is who said it...Nastrodamus..He clearly stated that "on December 21, 2012 earth will never be the same again" this could mean any number of things...it does NOT directly say that the world is going to end...like i said that this can mean any number of things like lets say actually contacting life outside of earth...discovering the technology so that humans can go outside our galaxy and find life...or lets say the ozone layer will be fixed and earth will be a non crime paradise...but idk and neither do any of you, not saying that your all ignorant to the subject, im just going on what Nastrodamus said, and that was that the earth will change dramatically not so much end, if that is what you got out of it...then idk what to tell you...i personally dont believe the end will come in 2012 i think the earth will change, not end...

Lies. Nostradamus predicted the end of the world in 1999, and that didn't happen. I doubt Nostradamus would be so stupid as to predict the world would change about 13 years after it ends.

I've heard like 15 different dates for the end of the world all quoted from Nostradamus.

Yea, but only one of those dates actually COMES FROM Nostradamus. It's been well documented that people have been falsifying prophecies in his name for years. He only predicted 1999 as the end of the world, and people started crediting these other prophecies to try and salvage his reputation as a prophet.

Only 2012 fiction I needed was JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Stone Ocean. Not as good as previous arcs, but still a good read. Foo Fighters is awesome, and for all it's broken-ness, the fact the most powerful Stand to ever exist is named for the song used as a tribute to Freddy Mercury will always be win. **** yeah, Made In Heaven.

2012? Yes, it will absolutely happen, unless they decide to skip it and call the next year 2013 instead.

End of the world? LOL... No, I don't think so.
