Somehow I wonder how I get apathetic towards the Suou and Shion arc. Honestly, I'm more concerned with Hei most of the time.

Re: Darker Than Black
Yeah, they didn't explain enough about the whole Izanami and Izanagi thing. It kind of hastily ended it and putting a few more episodes wouldn't have killed them.
There's going to be an OVA in 2010, with about four episodes I believe.

The whole last episode felt rushed. I know they're going for the whole 12 episode thing, but talk about leaving things unresolved. Don't leave us hanging.

I didn't like how they didn't explain many things, but the way it ended it makes it seem they might make a 3rd season, and along with the ovas (which will be prequels to the 2nd season) we'll probably have some explanations of what exactly happened after the 1st season.
2nd Season wasn't bad, but I still prefer the 1st Season.

Re: Darker Than Black
I have a question:
If Hei is both a "contractor" and a "human" does that mean he doesn't have to pay a price for his power? In the first season it was explained that Pai was "inside" him.

Re: Darker Than Black
I allways though the price was a massive amount of food but Im guessing hes a exception cause its really more like pais contractor abilitiy hes human with contractor abbilities because of pai at least thats how i see it

I figured Pai sacrificed herself so Hei's power is paid in full, hence he never has to pay it.

Re: Darker Than Black
That's possible, since Mao never has to pay a price thanks to his body being gone.

Re: Darker Than Black
Hey guys, they are releasing a box set of the first dvd at bestbuy and on amazon. The box set comes with all the first season episodes and is only $60.00. It comes out march 23rd so when the time rolls around show your support for the show and purchase it i know i will.
But back on topic, i'm hoping that they make a season 3 especially with the way things were left at the end of the second.

The first episode of the OVA was released, and finally subbed.

Finally saw it, took me a while to search for it. Darker than Black Gaiden. I can't help, but notice those two are adorable together.

If this is available in Blu-ray, I'm definitely getting it! Come on Funimation. Do It! Unless you don't like money. Lately every anime I bought, if it isn't on Blu-ray, I won't buy it. Its as if it's tainted. I just want it in HD goodness.TheEnigma wrote:Hey guys, they are releasing a box set of the first dvd at bestbuy and on amazon. Yea, it was serious deja vu for him. Evolution for dolls isn't a good thing. We kind of saw July evolved somewhat too. He just not a mindless puppet anymore. So will July = Yin sometime in the future?

Re: Darker Than Black
I think it's that everyone is after Yin because of the fact she is Izanami. Either that or everyone lives Hei.kai the pkk wrote:I didnt get what was up with the amber look-a-like or the dog but it looks like yins actually slowly becoming human but i guess thats a bad thing their implying
