The poll ended weeks ago, as stated the results should be shown around mid may. Anyway the poll results isn't surprising. There were several factors to considered. The fan based was still directed towards G.U. which is still continuing. In addition favorites like elk or endurance were split between version. Past characters like BlackRose had to compete with the media for G.U. as well as the all time favorite aspect. If remember correctly she had around 11 - 30 votes total, possibly more. As for Alkaid, there could be multiple reasons for her success, character design, naming, connections to the main characters etcetera.

I'm actually impressed the Kite scored high in the polls. I was under the impression that most people found him generic.

Despite Project .hack being far better than Conglomerate, I think the latter will always be more popular because it has the appeals for more mainstream fanbases.

Haseo the hotblooded emo rager? Check.

Awesome wallpaper as well... like the style used. I got a new wallpaper for my desktop as well... three polls and the three won by Haseo and Alkaid... so they decided to throw Atoli in this time around as well, just like they added Azure Kite once.

Not bad, though the previous wallpapers looked better IMO. I'm also disappointed that they used 1st form Haseo, why can't they make his 2nd form?

Pretty sweet poll end. The wallpaper by itself is a treat. Atoli's expression is so cute.
