You watch girls bravo <.< we indeed have room to form a friend ship XDDDD
I know that's from the first page, but I had to say it. "Lawl"
..................
.........same.

And as for Death Note; I, for one, loved the voices!
They seemed almost perfect.....I still don't have any complaints.
Especially Light's hushed voice! It fit everything he did. I also liked the voice actor for the way he's able to change Light's voice when he acts "innocent."

>_<
Toszi("Just a thought!")

I agree. Brad Swaile is by no means an amateur, but the way in which he's able to demonstrate the range of Light's vocal characteristics is incredible. He feels almost like a dual persona.

Light killing Naomi Misora was probably his most ingenious death. He was also lucky. If Ryuk was laughing up a storm,he would have never guess that she used an alias. But eh,yea she was good looking, but if your trying to be "God",I dont think your going to let anybody stand in your way.

Same here. That was just freaking awesome. I kind of have bad timing with those kinds of moments.

*Reon writes in his death note and then looks at his watch*
Naomi:How come you keep looking at your watch?
Reon posing as Kira: Well, its because I'm Kira. (Supposed to die at 2:13 P.M.)
Ten minutes after 2:13 P.M.
Reon: Um..what is today's date?
Naomi:December 7th?
Reon: OH GOD DAMNIT!!

Marth has told me on several occasions that he thinks L's voice fits him...in the English dub. I just can't agree. He sounds too old, and the voice just doesn't seem to fit his character. The should have gone with a younger sounding voice in my opinion. Although, Marth seems to think that he sounds his age and more intelligent with his voice. I am sorry, but, they really need to rethink L's dub voice, needless to say I was really disapointed in the appointed voice of L.

Light's fits him perfect, and I like how he uses his voice talents to really made it seem like Light has a dual persona.

This is just my take on the matter.

Sorry, but I have to go with Marth on this one. And I'm not just kissing his ass. I literally thought this to be L's voice even while I was reading the manga, this exact voice. And usually when i read, I use the first voice from an anime that pops into my head.

You act as though your surprised. Anime always had too old/mature of a voice to its characters. I could give you a plethora of incidents in which this happens. Personally, I'd rather have the voices too old then too young. With a younger voice added to L, I probably couldn't take his role as a semi-protagonist seriously.

Eh, I thought the dub was ok, but Raito sounded a little too...I dunno..too young?
But I've only seen it once, so I don't really remember. I don't usually stay up to watch TV (unless it's Metalocalypse)

Anime voices are based on the mental maturity of the character. Not their actual age. Look at Naruto where all though all the genin were the same age, every male except Naruto sounds like they are adults.

 Don't get me started about this and Neji.

Anyway, I am also wondering how Misa's dub will fare. I have never heard of any voice acting from Shannon Chan-Kent, so I am kind of in suspense of what she can do. But i think I am more interested in how Teru will be portrayed.

I'm surprised that noone chose to comment on Misa's English voice. I guess I'll make the first assessment.

Misa is by far my favorite character in the series, and I have been dreading episode 11 for a long time for fear that her voice would not satisfy me, but it has. Misa starts out as comic relief and fanservice, but evolves into a compelling and tragic figure. In this dub, she sounds sweet, spoiled, and somewhat annoying, and that's just how she ought to sound. Marth approves.

I wanted to comment about Misa the minute the episode was over, but an internet bill to be paid, it was kinda hard.

I believe that the voice was done quite will.I just need to know if she can say "Yes, Light. Anything for you." well enough.

Ah yes! Thats an excellent line. I can't make a decision yet on the voice of Misa. For some reason, I have to have a full episode of the person's voice to see how it is able to adapt to plot, twists, and other story devices. So far, so good.
