Seing as your probably going to get the dubbed version alot quicker, I'd not care about it.

Seing as some people, namely myself are still waiting on .hack//GU to come out, I think that a few other people, namely yourself, can be patient until october, can't you?

The anime has recently been released, and I have to say, it does look promising. So far, we have the introduction of Setsuna as a war torn orphan and the other pilots and Gundams already appear. You have your typical "cool" type characters with Lockon being a bit firey and trigger happy.

Name is Exia (Edited), but Gundam Pilots are called Meisters (in German, Masters)

Actually...I looked at the pic and it's actually Gundam Kyrios, not Exia.

THIS...is what Exia looks like: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... 605_01.gif

I also happen to like the opening more than the ending, also due to the fact that L'Arc en Ciel's music seem pretty good.

Oh...and FYI for some of you that watched the first episode, when Setsuna referred to the sniper Gundam as Lockon...the actual pilot refers to its real name as Dynames.

The Gundam IS called Gundam Dynames, Setsuna referred to the pilot when he was saying that. The pilot of Gundam Dynames is a pilot named Lockon Stratos, so he was addressing the pilot instead of the Gundam.

hmm, after two eps the whole idea sounds very interesting, but so far it seems to almost lack the potential for the sort of drama and emotion seed had, but i guess after seeing the stuff at the end of ep two there could be quite some potential there, just that i feel without following one set of characters right from the start, through everything and to the end it's not going to be as good in that area :/
but i've only seen seed sa for gundam animes though and i have no idea how the other gundams went about things, but i sure do hope it does get very dramatic and emotional and win :D

Off topic for me... but this is my Top 5 Gundam series:

1. Gundam Z
2. Gundam X
3. Gundam 8th MS Team
4. Gundam Char's Counterattack
5. Gundam F91 <--- Gundam 00 might replace the 5th place soon.

Gundam 00's two eps hve given me a lot of interesting plot twists at the beginning, but also it isn't "Hey what is that Gundam? I'll pilot it!". Setsuna gives same approach for Heero, but I think Setsuna will hve a better character development than Heero in ways.

I've been watching 00 and I think its done pretty well. The direction they've taken with the new series is nice. We have enemy mobile suits right from the start that actually look really cool, as opposed to suits that look like they came from the stoneage compared to the gundams. The absence of the colonies, which have yet to be built in this continuation is also nice as we have somewhere for the series to go in the future (unlike Seed Destiny). The gundams are pretty sweet too and you should check out the already released pics of Avalanche Exia (a noticably more well armed iteration of Exia, possibly the Exia w/ removeable armor). I also like the fact that Setsuna looks similar to our hero from the After Colony era, Heero Yuy. That and the fact that the series' take is reminiscent of Gundam Wing, slightly.

Cant wait for the next episode.

PS-listening to Daybreak's Bell right now. moumantai!

Avalanche Exia is for Mobile SuIT Gundam 00V
The character design looks like Loveless Anime. .
Btw, here's some info . .I think you guys already know though.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00P
Mecha:
GNY-001 Gundam Astraea
Design by Kanetake Ebikawa
Mecha that takes its name from Astraea, a goddess of justice. In order of succession, it is an Exia proto-unit but at this point in time, it's a general purpose mecha and not a close combat-use unit. How this machine evolves is very interesting.
Armament: Shield, beam rifle, beam saber x 2

Characters: Meisters of second generation Gundams. Louid Resonance is in charge of piloting the Astraea. The other two test other Gundams. Additionally, it seems there's another Gundam Meister...

Marlene Bloody - A heinous criminal. Excellent as a pilot.

Shal Akstica - A 16-year-old girl chosen to be a Meister.

Louid Resonance - An engineer-type whose strength is in mechanics.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00V
GN-001/hs-A01 Gundam Avalanche Exia
Head height: 18.3m
Total weight: 62.1t (Avalanche equipment weight 4.9t)
A Gundam Exia with additional high mobility equipment.
Design by Kanetake Ebikawa
Armament: GN sword, GN long blade, GN short blade, GN beam saber x 2, GN beam dagger x 2, GN shield, GN vulcans x 2
Affiliation: Celestial Being

Mobile Suit Gundam 00V

- Depicts mecha seen by the protagonist as well as ones he created himself
Writer: Tomohiro Chiba
Mecha Design: Kanetake Ebikawa, Takayuki Yanase, Kenji Teraoka, Hitoshi Fukuchi
Character Design: Taraku Uon
Supervision: Sunrise

Mobile Suit Gundam 00P
- Begins in the December issue of Dengeki Hobby
- Mecha commentary + short stories + scratch built models
- Relative to 00's story, depicts the past, with all kinds of prototype mecha appearing

Mobile Suit Gundam 00F
- Begins in the December issue of Gundam Ace
- Manga by Koichi Tokita
- Story takes place at the same time as 00's
Mobile Suit Gundam 00F
Mecha:
GNY-001 Gundam Astraea
A proto-unit in the Gundam Exia lineage. Has the name of the goddess of justice depicted on the justice tarot card. Equipped with a mask for hiding the fact that it is a Gundam.
Design by Kanetake Ebikawa

GNY-004 Gundam Plutone
A Gundam proto-unit. Has the name "Pluto" from the "judgment" tarot card. Appears as though it has a function corresponding to its card meaning of "rebirth, change". Judging by the model number, was it discontinued during development? It seems to have a (?) connection with Chall in the past.
Design by Takayuki Yanase

Characters:
Chall Acoustica
Fon Spark

After watching 3 episodes, I gave up on 00. So far we have highly advanced (far much more advanced than the strongest military force) Gundams in a private organization known as Celestial Being. They are able to emit UN Particles, which have the ability to cause extremely manueverable flight, disrupt electronic signals (like the Minovsky Particles from UC), and act as a protection in atmospheric re-entry. The technology is completely unrealistic, far more than the rapid growth in Weed (Seed).

I'll continue watching this, but I still think that UC is where I belong on the Gundam universal spectrum.

Agreed, also for top quality animation they sure don't do anything. Or maybe am I just to used to seeing Gainax's mecha kick ass.

also there is little to none character development going on, and they say Celestial Being too damn much :(
