True...But then you would also have to consider the fact that it wasnt really a fight more then a sacrifice...Wrath wasnt fighting to kill Gluttony,he was fighting to sacrifice himself by using Gluttony.He was basically using Gluttony.

I think the most epic battle ever would have to be during the Second Stage of Vandread when the big shipp and all the other little ones combine to make that one huge fu**er. That was a bada** episode.

That's the exact same thing... only when you say "Anderson/Vatican/German freaks" it sounds like the Vatican and Nazis are on the same side (which they weren't).

The entire end of GaoGaiGar FINAL. That was some of the best robot action ever made, no doubt about it. First the Brave Robos are winning, then getting their ass handed to them, then GaoGaiGar fights Palparepa, and then the Brave Robos pull a win out of their arse and GaoGaiGar brutally destroys it's foe, only to have all the enemies revived by Pisa Sol. Then Guy uses the Goldion Crusher to destroy Pisa Sol (Which is the size of a sun) and all the other enemies. And then there's lots of sparkles.

A close second would be the battle with Devil Gundam in G Gundam,  where Domon is forced to kill his brother whom he decided to try and save. That was an awesome battle.

I'd say Ichigo Vs Hollow Ichigo Round 2 when they both go Bankai and Ichigo's body is becoming more and more hollow.

What episode was that in? I would start watching it again if I knew that sooner. I stopped after the Soul Society story arc when for some reason everyone's back on earth and that includes Renji with no explanation. (Was that a filler or did I miss some episodes inbetween?)

Duel or battle? If it's battle then I'm a big fan of a lot of the epic "more-things-die-than-in-any-other-anime" scenes in Gunbuster and Diebuster...
