This is not hope if it turns real... .Hack MUST have a following up, it can´t end just like any other game would, it has a story that make most books ashamed, it´s simply too good

t has a story that make most books ashamed,
quoted for truth.
even my uncle (a well-read man)
said he would prefer if the entire thing was put into a series of readable books!
(he's a critic too)
he actually went looking for a contracter....we havn't heard from him since ?

kukukuku...
I knew someone would agree, only the story we can´t know until a trailer is released, but it´s still a speculation...

Well... if Sakubo suffers from multiple persona, what Endrance and Yata must suffer from?(Yata because... you know what he was...)

A big part of me agrees with you, but the rest of me isn't sure if the developers for .hack will be able to top GU, and a different team would cause continuity errors and give a different feel, so I'm hopeing that the DVD "sequal" will wrap up all the loose ends, mainly whats left of the AIDA and wth was happening in the 6th episode of //roots.

Basically, in the real world theres a meteor shower coming that everyones getting excited about, and simultaneously in a random field a meteor shower is occuring and destroying everything. Later on the Ovan tells Shino that he has a job for her related to the virus cores and meanwhile Naobi is planing another attack on the Twilight Brigade. Shino contacts Tabby and Sakisaka telling them to go to the field thats being destroyed and Ender follows them. When they enter the field Ender fights them and then "stars" appear in the field and hit Sakisaka and Tabby, Sakisaka's weapon is deleted and Tabby's entire character is being eaten away. Soon Haseo comes to their aid and is unaffected by the stars for some reason and them he stars glowing red and this energy is released from his body destroying the stars and fixing all the damage they did. Ender takes then reveals to Tabby that Sakisaka was a spy and fights Tabby and Haseo, then Sakisaka decides to help Tabby and Haseo, but even with all three of them Ender still won.

If my summary wasn't clear then theres more info here: http://dothack.wikia.com/wiki/Conflict_%28Roots%29

He's unaffected because he's an Epitaph User, the red glow should give you that idea already.

The part where a giant big beam came down and created "SIGN" ?

Well since Cubia was (Probably not awakened then) I have no idea, the only person we've seen creating SIGN was Ovan, and if Cubia was the AIDA infesting Ovan the entire time, then well that might have been Cubia's blast, but only if Cubia wasn't awoken then, which I doubt he was.

Maybe just a really strong AIDA, the same one that infested Ovan. And if Cubia is not an AIDA, and just an Anti-Existence with no relation, then there is one more AIDA out there, the one that infected Ovan. But it seems as though that AIDA was destroyed anyways, when Cubia awokened.

And if it's a cave, then it seems to be more of an error in the data, which was fixed by Haseo...somehow, even though his Avatar didn't even begin to awaken then, it might have just been one of those things his data could do, since I believe his character was specially created.

Just rough memory speculation.

I'm not worried about the glowing energy, it's the whole deal with the "stars." The AIDA have never really shown any interest in, or even the ability to delete fields, and whenever theres an AIDA theres always black dots (or purple blobs when Pai teaches Kuhn to use his avatar). Also in the cimmunity forum, they say that the "black dots" have always existed since the begining of R:2.

Sakubo suffers from multiple persona.
They don't suffer from it.
what Endrance and Yata must suffer from?(Yata because... you know what he was...)
Both of them basically have inferiority issues.

Ovan created Sign and some AIDA in order to try and prompt Haseo's Epitaph to awaken. Those starry things were AIDA. The meteor thing is just a coincidence. Just like in SIGN when both The World and Earth had an unconscious sleeping girl.

What do you mean by specially created?

Did they state that at any point in time? As you said to one of my previous posts: I still want to know for sure.

What? Weren´t everyone discussing that Saku and Bo were the same person, but different personalities? If this is just theory I agree with it

awkward_confusion: Every letter AuraTwilight write in this forum is deeply researched for the porpouse of a fully understandable and complete answer, so this is probably true, or a very well elaborated theory at least.

I think he means that just because you have a multiple personality doesn't mean you suffer from it.

No, but I researched it so heavily it's the only answer. I'm the biggest .hack geek out there, since most of my evenings consist of reading the same manga/book or watching the same episode of one of the .hack anime's about 10 times and taking notes, comparing with other notes from other evenings with other topics to find correlations.

Basically, I think about .hack more than the entire board combined, guaranteed.

Not quite. Two PEOPLE, one body. They're not the same person.

Well... the AIDA seen to be a creation of Cubia as most theorys say, but the answer may only be answered with the OVA

The deal with Cubia is that  it was sealed in Corbenik´s arm, as well as Aura, so when Ovan exploded both were set free, but Cubia is Aura´s anti-existence so Aura was only able to act after it is defeated, that what I understood

1) I simply asked if they stated at any point in time; it's possible that I missed it.
2) AT has been proven wrong before; it's not that he's a diety created for the sole porpouse of informing us about the truths of .hack.
Apple wrote:So in the end, was aida ever explained?? Like what it was, where it came from etc?? & what's the deal with Cubia returning?? Thanks to the people that answer this!! <3
They don't actually say much about the origin of the AIDAs, except the original vol. 2 trailer when Ovan said "In front of every epitaph, a small truth, a small AIDA appears" which suggests that the AIDA are the anti-avatars.
The deal with Cubia returning is that Aura was in The World the entire time, but since she disconnected herself from the system a Cubia was created to counter her, and close to the end the epitaph users try to summon Aura using Haseo (because he ate/data drained all the other avatars). My theory is that since the avatars are linked to Aura they gave Aura an advantage over Cubia, and so Cubia made the AIDAs to balance out the playing field.

Thx for your dedication I guess....

Anyways, I think I'll dismiss ep. 6 as a continuity error (because //roots was made by a different team than //GU) until proven innocent.
