Alice stopped trying to walk forward now, and simply stood stood at her boots, completely perplexed by the situation.

"So... Sai.... is a gambling clown?" Alice looked at Rylo with confusion, "I think I need to learn the English language completely... -_-"

Ace spoke up.

"Uh... Yeah," Alice's voice stayed quiet. "I suppose I did make a promise..."

[he put his arm around ace]

Rylo: well aren't you being pushy haha and alice....i don't hate you....i like you a lot more than you think...[he was blushing]

Still unsure, Alice looked down the hall and said "Okay... Well I'm gonna go and find an English to Japanese dictionary, because it seems I need one every other sentence people at this school deliver," Alice began walking to the library with her violin repeating, "Watashi wa ingurisu wakarimasen, wakarimasen, wakarimasen."

He looked at Rylo. "Well, you are the expert at making people do stuff. So if you say so then it must be true. Anyways, I'm beat I'm going to get a cat nap in. Go catch up with your girl." He sent a message to Alice through her headphones. "You know, Mystery Girl, if you want I could make your headphones translate for you. It's not quite as good as learning the language, but you wouldn't be getting lost in conversation as much."

Rylo:Alrighty [started fling off but stopped and turned around] oh and ace....you did bury me but for forgot one thing

Rylo: next time make sure im unconcious

Alice stopped walking and tapped on her headphones. "That was weird, the music stopped... And... A voice? o.O"

[flew a little slower next to alice and pulled her headphones off her ears]

Rylo:Hey did you hear? ace can make you headphones translate everything for you

*im still unsure*

"Not like I was trying to kill ya, Rylo. You asked to be buried, I was just obliging. You might want to go talk to your dad some time. I think you had something important you wanted to tell him." *yawn* "Oh, and see if she wants translation software put into her headphones. Let me know during calc tomorrow if she does." He said as he walked off.

He threw himself onto the bed, there was a loud creak as it bore his weight. "Next mission, he stays up all night and keeps watch." He scratched Kitty behind the ears before drifting off.

Rylo: ah but i have trig tomorrow......

"Translating? No, it's not the words specifically I don't understand, but in English everything has about eight different meanings. I just need a reference to those meanings. I'll start to get the hang of things after a while and no longer need the book I'm sure."

Alice began walking down the stairs, her boots making a clicking sound as they collided with each step. "Well, it's that and quite frankly I've not had too many conversations, nor did I ever read books or watch those screen things, so I never learned what a lot of things mean. The only person that was never afraid of me was my brother John. He never saw me lose control and black out though," Alice looked up at Rylo floating beside her as she continued descending the stairs, "You remind me of him quite a bit actually. Uh... What's a Trig?"

Rylo:It's a very hard math class

Sai:[over the loudspeaker] we have clients today and they need to see your power levels, please everyone head to the training area

Rylo: well i guess that's the call for us....and don't worry...i know that you would never purposely hurt anyone...

Alice and Rylo meandered over to the training area. "How do they see our power levels? Any why do they need to see them? What's going on?"

Rylo: i'm not really sure

Sai was standing by this huge machine and was callin out names

Sai:Alice Mindergral please step foreward!

Kitty left the sleeping Ace and went to the training area for him. She found her way to Rylo and pawed at him to hold her, at least until Alice came back. She wanted to see what Ace's new friends were like for herself.

Alice froze up.

It's the scary teacher from before. She looked at the large machine. Is that for measuring our power levels? Wait, what is a power level?

"Oh! Uh, Y-yes. Yes, sir." Maybe it's the electricity I've absorbed? But I shot out the last of the energy from that bulb, so shouldn't my power be zero? Or what if She counts as a power level? Whenever She seems to take control I always wake up to great destruction. What if she comes out now?!

Alice quickly put her head phones on. The soundtrack had just started playing Fur Elise.

Sai: just place your hand in the slot and close your eyes...

As ALice put her hand in she reached her body back and shut her eyes hard, expecting a needle prick or a zap. Her other arm held onto her violin case.

"mmmmmm" Alice began murmuring in anticipation.

Sai: 321!! Next will be Ace Hitchcock!

[when alice returned]

Rylo: wow your powers pretty strong!

Kitty hopped on up to the machine and put her paw in, letting out a bored meow.

Alice returned to standing next to Rylo. She was looking at the hand that had been placed inside of the machine, "But, I didn't do anything? And I haven't absorbed any electricity... I don't get it," She cocked her head to the side.
