If you need a morale boost Kyero, I'll log into brawl again for the first time in a while to fight ya. I've gotten decent with Toon Link and a few others.

Rather bad if you have it, in WoW the last thing you want is Lag because of PVP, same goes for SSBB. Noobs think their good when they beat you because of lag and they wont belive you and act all stuck up.

i dont get lag because i have a kick ass router if you have a bad router or bad wifi then you have bad lag i almost never lag or you lag from your opponent

ugh... the lag may be because a) everybody's getting it (or almost everyone) b) my router is lame or c) my computer is OLLLDDD
or all three.... I use the USB WiFi whatever it's called... does that affect anything too?

depends... how close is you're computer to you're Wii? If they sit next to each other or at least in the same room, it should be pretty good, but if they're in opposite ends of the house, (I've seen it done...), it's going to be VERY poor signal.

Um not really, My Modem, computer,Wii are all in the same room and im using comcast, yet I still get Lag.

my modem is... let's say... on opposite sides of a wall from my wii. It's hard to explain. They're about 40 or so feet apart? I'm not very good with distances;;; it may also be because my computer is OLD.

I simply said you'd "get poor signal", I'm sorry if it sounded like I said "poor connection". That depends on you're modem, you're router, and you're internet connection. As for the wifi usb connector, I'd guess it might slow it down a bit, since it's got to go through you're computer's internet to reach the Nintendo WFC, while working past you're computer's connection.
Another reason for lag, if memory serves they mentioned this on the brawl website, that distance can also have a slight affect on gameplay... though it shouldn't be too great...
Good luck, get a VERY fast internet connection, stay near the router, keep the number of connections going through the router lower, and PRAY you don't connect to a slow peer.

Fixed (Changing leaves you wide open for somebody to sit next to you charging a smash to kill you

)
Anyway, just before this whole "nintendo needz better serverz" deal gets started (SOMEBODY will bring it up)- WIFI =/= SERVERS. It's a direct connection between you and your opponent. Lag depends on distance and each opponent's connection. Also, both players will have the same amount of lag, so you can't say "I lagged but you didn't". Lag can cause you to lose though, it's annoying and can screw your timing up. Also, I'm not defending Nintendo- their online system does suck.
Anyway...I guess nobody wants to play me. Fine by me, I'll stick with fighting my friends/really good smashers. :O

I really need to buy a Wii and Brawl now. Playing with a friend's isn't enough, especially since I just met and befriended one of the best Pit players in my area. :> I'm probably gonna get my grandparents to buy one (I convinced my grandmother that it'd be good exercise).
Anyhoo, I actually do use Zelda, but I don't change to Sheik. In Melee, I barely used Sheik ever, so changing and lag won't be a problem. I accustomed myself into making sure I never press down + B when playing as Zelda.

I want to play online someday. There r lots of strong brawlers out there and lots of noobs. I want to get so good that I can beat Tabuu on the intense with one person. Goshs that so hard trying to kill him on intense unless u can dodge every attacks. I can dodge all his attacks but its hard to keep it up for long.

I'm considered to be pretty good by most people I Brawl. I'll brawl you sometime, Kyero. My FC is 5155 5155 - 4115 - 4023.
In case you're interested, I main Yoshi(don't worry I don't chain-grab...I do Pivot Grab a lot though), Link, Pit, Mario, and Kirby. My secondaries are Bowser and Ness.

Pivot grab? is that where you grab and throw them down and grab them agan before they can do anything?

Nah, that would be a chain-grab.
A pivot grab is pretty much just an approaching tool that makes your grab a bit faster and give's it a lot less lag time. Don't quote me on this, but I think only characters with ranged grabs can do it.
Edit: Oh, and pm me when/if you want some matches.
