What all do you have to do to increase your guild rank? Just finish up parts of the book of 1000?

Yes. Every time you fill the bar, the book's rank goes up. When they're all at a certain point, your Guild Rank goes up.

Every time ALL of ur books reach a lv,ul rank up.

So basicly i would have to beat doppel in vol.1 then select new game to get it. I cant just beat him in vol one then it will give it to me? Im up to the match with Bordeux in arena and DO NOT feel like replaying all that....

It's a glitch more so than a trick. Press 'select' before hitting a King Chim Chim and exit the screen quickly. If done correctly, the game registers that you collected all of the Chims and the race will end with you completing the course in some insanely quick time.

It's hard to find info on this, but Zer0's guides are good (goes by "dothackersnet" on gamefaqs). One way to get rank 1 on one of them and have the best part of a set for the others: on mission 4, turn around at the start and you will win. I've done it without any bike part upgrades.

Does anyone have tips for wearing down the [The One] God Eaters' shield? Also who is the best combination to quickly building up enough combos to be able to execute a rengeki?

* Use Haseo's doppelgänger twin swords for quick, status-afflicting spells and good damage. These also seem to generate the Rengeki skill faster.

* Steam Gunner skills work well against God Eater's raised arms and can deal good damage when others can't reach.
* Use the 'Call Party' command to move everyone out of the way of God Eater's attacks and direct the party's target.
* Use Beast Awakening but save it for the core.

Recommended Level: 96 (99 for God Eater's return)
Recommended Party Members: Antares and Matsu (Level 93 each. 97 for return)

enhance your weapon with "light damage" and "dark damage", these should do... a bit...

use Demon awakening for the core... does better damages than beast awakening

bring Ani Zot scrolls and Lei Zas scrolls to open up the shield...

Thanks I'll try that though I haven't been able to defeat the doppelganger yet.

Tip for getting your awakening up fast:

buy loads of items that cure paralysis and other status effects... keep haseo away from being attacked and allow your attacker to fight god eater and then allow your healer to heal them... and keep moving so you don't get attacked by the laser thing and spike thing lol.... but anways to get the awakening fast just use all the status cure items and then they will say thx and stuff and it will give you morale and walla you got your awaken... but bring loads of items including healing stuff.....
