I think I am going to start it is an introduction trend, a way to break the ice for the newcomers. Figured something funny shows we are all human and so on, at least keep them coming back for more laughs. You should try it next time there is a newcomer! Make up some horrible thing that would have happened to their soul if they hadn't introduced themselves!

I was introduced to the .hack series after watching the dubbed version of SIGN on television several years ago. Granted, I had absolutely no idea what went on the first time I saw it, but the premise caught my attention. I don't own much .hack merchandise, but I'm quite interested in the .hack world in a general sense, I suppose. ^_^

Hello my name is Daniel and i'm a 20yr computer science student in georgia. I must say that i love .hack, not just because it is a great series, but because of the idea behind it. A fully immersive mmo. At one time this may have just been a good idea, but it is steadily becoming reality. with advances such as the oculus rift the future is not far away. one day i hope to be able to play with you all in a real version of the world.

Hello, I'm new to the forum, well, posting, I think. I know have sure lurked a lot. I was first introduced to the concept of .hack through a random person on IRC many years back. Watched the entire series when it was on Cartoon Network, picked up the first Volume of IMOQ, and it's been a steady love affair ever since.

I'm 25, employed by an evil giant retail corporation, and when i'm not working or sleeping, I'm usually at my computer, much to the dismay of my significant other.

I'm obviously new to the forums. I'm sort of a fan of the dot hack series, tho something always comes up when i try to re-watch it all or get to the final episodes (which i never finished)..Mostly in love with .hack//sign, tho.. Also a guy that really hopes the Oculus Rift could bring a future .hack like mmo in store for us someday.
