I'll back it up that I've never seen AuraTwilight publicly accuse anyone of having bad grammer, let alone be a nuisence about it in any way, shape or form.AuraTwilight wrote:When have I been a grammar nazi?AT, you can't claim to have trouble with English and be a grammar nazi...
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN IIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTIn other news, it's confirmed by the Perfect Guidebook, which by its very title can't make any mistakes. Sora is Ryou Misaki. Have a nice day.
All sorts of stuff, I don't personally have the thing yet though... Ovan's Lost Weapon isn't Twilight (I think that info's actually from the Complete Guide though). Can't wait to get it...Jimbob wrote:Well, I guess that's that then. So I guess when they said they were all new characters they were lying. Anything else interesting the Perfect Guide said or was that the only new major revalation.
Hooray for crappy retcons. Just proves that the .hack writers aren't always great.Kuukai wrote:I guess you're right, actually, a grammar nazi you are not. Sorry.

Actually for this to work Unison would have to be considered non-canon. I think basically he forgot all about anything having to do with the World after waking up. Which may make sense since he was so young. After all didn't the younger children coma victims in G.U. including Sakaki forget everything that happened upon reviving? Shino and Alkaid didn't so maybe it's an age thing where all game coma victims under the age of 12 or something forget everything about their situation. And no I have no idea how that could be possible. Then again maybe Ovan wiped their memories so they wouldn't have to remember, only leaving Haseo's friends as a favor to him so they wouldn't forget how they close they were. Or maybe the memory loss has nothing to do with the World at all but he suffered a head injury after the games or something.Fragments.beta wrote: Not to mention how he can CONVENIENTLY forget all his development into a better person in Unison, so they can turn him back into a total jackass to fit it with the whole "Grow Up" theme.

That it does. That's also what makes it the most awesome piece of info. about .hack ever revealed.AuraTwilight wrote:Oh well. Atleast this proves DarkChaos is a liar. Awesome.
Well that's annoying.Ovan's Lost Weapon isn't Twilight
I have to admit, that quote becomes a hell of a lot cooler now.Oh wow. So it is finally confirmed then. Ryou is behind Sora and Haseo. Hah. Its kind of interesting how Skeith was like 'i've finally found you'. now we actually know why.
Chillax. While the memory-wipe thing is annoying, it's not totally out of their ass. Apparently the selective amnesia affected all of the coma victims in the series in varying degrees. (such as Sakaki, who completely forgot everything post-Roots or so.) Tsukasa seems to be the only exception since his mind was wandering around freely as an AI.Well for starters, how Skieth can COMPLETELY AND CONVENIENTLY wipe not just his memories of the events of SIGN, but all his knowledge as a hardcore R:1 player and turn him back into a newbie. Not to mention how he can CONVENIENTLY forget all his development into a better person in Unison, so they can turn him back into a total jackass to fit it with the whole "Grow Up" theme.
They reset Sora for what? A few fan giggles? It's really stupid. But anyway, its not really too bad. I'll eventually get over it.
I do.And that settles that. Anyone up for laughing at all the times someone had the Haseo=Sora idea and got called a newbie for it?
Well, there is the Sora AI. And I'm sure Shino and Yowkow maintained their memories because their minds were "one" with the AIDA. Almost every coma victim was affected by memory loss to some degree, even if it was very miniscule (Lol Crimson Knight.)Actually for this to work Unison would have to be considered non-canon. I think basically he forgot all about anything having to do with the World after waking up. Which may make sense since he was so young. Well, it's an official document, so it doesn't need to present an arguement. It just needs to say so, and then it's fact. Either Unison is non-canon, or Sora's an AI.So what were the arguments that supported this? What were the counter-arguments that explained how Sora is in Unison, was it an AI?
Minor nitpick: Helba doesn't create AIs. She just finds them and gives them a home. The Sora AI was created as a result of the events of Zero.I'm more likely to believe Helba must be really good at making AI's, 'cus that Sora was hella convincing...
When producers decide to change their mind about stuff. An example would be giving an origin story for a villain in a horror movie, and then in it's sequel reveal that the first origin story was a lie by one of the characters and give the REAL origin story. Also, what is a retcon?
