I just want to back up the point AT has made. We have official sources and pictures all claiming Haseo is Sora.

Several times you've clamed to have proof that he is not and every time your argument has shown to be completely false. This time you claimed you would have proof. Instead you're saying you know for a fact Haseo isnt Sora but you're not willing to prove it and instead you will just laugh when everyone else comes to the logical conclusion that he is Sora. You're obviously trying to save your pride and carry on an argument for no reason, what do you expect us to think?

Besides, the way he told his little story this time was in the classic style of skilless bsers who can't lie to save their lives. DarkChaos just can't seem to accept the possibility that Sora's player might have been a younger Ryou Misaki.

You can't call a bluff sucessfully when the bluff doesn't even exsist. It's not a possibility. It's like saying that Tidus from FFX is Shuyin from X-2. Shuyin looks almost like Tidus, Shuyin has all of Tidus's attacks, and also has the same voice actor. But are they the same person? No! You think similarities between characters is rare? It's more common than you think. Noone here has any proof saying that I'm wrong and that Sora is Ryou Misaki in real life.

So, as of sometime in 2010, Sora's player is in 4th grade. G.U. is sometime in 2017. Given the uncertainty of dates, we can say beyond all doubt that in G.U., Sora's player would be in one of the three years of high school (and yes, Japanese high schools are, for the most part, very consistent in their age ranges). This is fully consistent with what we know about Haseo's age.

I can see the resemblance. Ryou and "Sora" do look similar. Granted, Ryou does look somewhat different, but this could be due do a general change in his attitude, or even the difference between art styles...

It's flattering if someone is stealing my pictures and posing as me, but no, I've really only posted that pic here. I was there studying for 9 months. That's one of the few pics I have really relevant to .hack though.

Basically, they already had a sketch which they used for the real scenes in the manga, and this pic was based off that. Otherwise Haseo would just look different in every real scene...

personally I believe that an artist rendition is too vague to be of use. until we can get a truely 'official' picture of Ryou and sora's real life self, we can't make much good assumptions. My op. anyway!
