Lol it was actually amusing because we happened to get a K club during that time, in Christmas of '05. I didn't end up seening any of the profit though, not as if I had asked to, I was only healing and buffing...like I allways do lol, but since I didn't really help them with the claim or anything I just said I didn't need the money.
He did end up getting like 350mil for it.

I never supported MPK...with the gill sellers it was one thing, but a lot of people used to do it to parties for kicks, especially in places like the dunes, Garlaige Citadel and Crawler's Nest. I'm glad it's been more or less taken care of now.

If I wanted to play a game with PK and PvP I wouldn't be playing FFXI =/

I made profit from emperor hairpin and ochiudo kote.
I sold them before it was change to an ex item.
I bought them for 300k EH and later sold them for 500k
I bought Ochiudo's kote when it was 400k and later sold it for 3.4m

Meh, there's no way not to help them. Even if you put an item up on the AH for a good deal less then the previous items sold, whoever's buying it will still start out around the price that's allready up... I don't know if that made sense. XD

What happened was I was lvl 24 almost 25. So im seeking right and i get an invite. Im like "sweet cause i cant make a pt". So everyone heads to G. citadel.

Im like...theres no wai I can kill something over there. So I check the party...and there are lvl 65 gilsellers...>.>. And all are rank 1. plus they didnt speak english or use the translator.

to cut a story short a gm got them, but it was still a "wtf" moment XP

yes that rumor is very true, thats why i said he was infamous, and btw when he kills you he leaves a red Z on the spot he kills you in. Oh and i think hes a THF/NIN so be careful lol XD j/k

anyway i dont really know his character all i know is that theres been a few disputes regarding him and stuff, like theres a topic about some guy getting mad at him for taking his kills or w/e in the end the guy was just talking lies and what not my bro was there at the time, but long story short that debate was pretty funny. personally i kinda got bothered by him since he asked me to join that server saying that he could help me out and stuff, and i told him i didnt feel like starting over again. Because i started out in Lakshmi server but left since a lot of my friends IRL were on Garuda, and still are, thanks to them theyve been a real big help. But in the end he understood since there were a lot of people on my current server that i know so he was cool about it.

Besides since all my bros play FFXI were all on different servers so that kinda makes things more interesting in a lot of ways.

Like, since RMTs have been mentioned a few times on this discussion, i heard my bro on Unicorn say something about there being a LS comprised of RMTs, and what that meant, there was always someone farming specific NMs. Im not sure if thats still going around but i think theres some other servers with the same thing.

thinking about his server though, i remember one of my friends telling my bro who was on unicorn server "Unicorn is for fags, join fairy instead" lol

Well not to go off topic again, i think, but do you guys sometimes hate playing, especially when messed up stuff happens?

like say for example yesterday when i was on the ferry to Aht Urgahn i got attacked by a monster through the door, and i was only a level 36 whm T_T. Okay before anyone says that at that level i probably shouldnt go there but ive done so before, like back when i was a level 38 Rdm and i soloed the new jobs. Oh and then later some guy needed help with getting to the ships and this flea monster suddenly appeared, and i didnt remember seeing those before, came out of no where and i was like WTF? this has been the more recent mishap that took place, but there are others like me getting killed by a decent challenge when i was at full hp/mp and i kill them 100%...er well now its like 99% of the time because of that incident.

i dont hate the game but stuff like that just makes me frustrated lol

Zi'tah music is so peaceful I was trying to think of the name before. I sit there too.

Whenever I level there, we try to camp by Aquarius so we can call on our LinkShell, so the other BST can get Fransisca, TOO BAD WE GET KILL everytime it spawns. D:

lol last time i was leveling my main (lv 31 MNK) was in the Citadel, in a party started by a gilseller >.> had me pulling too... ended up dying three times because of the stupid holes <.<

we ended up disbanding on the gilseller within an hour of starting the party... he was tanking, and doing a horrible job of it. was a pretty bad experience, havent had much time to play since then so I haven't lvled my main since then, been just farming and soloing SMN after arguing with each of us when we decided to go (even tho he hadnt said anything else rest of the party, and was looting on every single drop), he went back to Jueno and doing the same thing he did before, just sending blind invites to anyone seeking (friend of mine was in his next party playing 31 BLU, his party didnt last a half hour before they broke up)

Wow...that's never happened to me..or even anyone I know. Then again, we know all the names of then crazy gillsellers and RMT pretty much, so even if someone did get an invite, if they've been playing in Sylph for long enough they would know not to accept it.

I used to be in an LS which was initially for getting AF and eventually became sky. Anyway, the LS was co-operated by K and C who were married in-game and did a fairly good job of running things; however, they had a serious hatred of the RMT, especially C. He used to bash them and flame them openly in the LS. Now...no one likes the RMT, except maybe those who buy from them; however, it did go a little too far from time to time, but I allways stayed out of it.
Then one day, a friend of my bf joined the us,wanting a new sky LS... Now he's a really nice guy, but he just happens to have made friends with some RMT, the English-speaking ones. It's not like he helps them, he just doesn't treat them like dirt because they make extra money from selling gill. When C found out he had RMT friends...he flammed him and kicked him from the LS. For the next few months everyone was calling him RMT and such, it was really harsh.

I don't support RMT, not in the least, but I think it gets a little out of hand on both sides. I wouldn't even be surprised if half the people who flamed them actually buy from them. I know I've been cheated out of claims more times then I can count, but they're people too.
