Yeah it is pretty obvious halfway through the game, and painfully obvious near the end.
God I hate Sakaki, I hope I can kill him one day....
i like shino better( i watched almost all of the .hack//roots episodes) 1 because she talks about stuff thats important. 2 shes not a baby 3 shes a leader not a follower resons i dislike atoli 1 she copied shinos character(not on purpose) 2 shes continously talks about crap that dosent matter 3 too emotinal 4 shes a huge follower and counts on other too much. but in the end atoli isnt that bad
There's a warm satisfacting feeling i get when I see Shino.
I've seen her in ROOTS, and so I think I know quite a bit about her personality.
She's calm, gentle, nice, and sometimes confronting, plus, when I listen to her (japanese) voice, I strangely feel at ease because her voice sounds really soft and comforting.

I don't like those bright, chipper people that buzz around at rapid speed.... reminds me of a gnat or something. Not to mention I also hate Atoli's voice. >< I'd choose a collected goth girl over preppy ditz any day.
So yeah... my choice is Shino. Her name meaning alone gets her my vote.

Of course I like Shino better, she's a much more complex and troubling character. Then again, I generally like the characters people consider 'evil'.
yeah i agree Shino is a manipulative person that only used Haseo and Atoli just wants to be with Haseo but cant let go of Sakaki and after all she is "The Mirage of Desciete" so i wonder if she is just playng the role of a ditzy, idealistic, inocent little girl but i wonder if that will all change
but i would pick Atoli over Shino because she seems to be more jenuine about her feelings about Haseo but i could be wrong
I dont know shine but I do know I hate atoli. She kisses so much ass. Sakaki this Sakaki that. Also shes really annoying. I mean in games my general idea is to get stronger not look at the backround.
I think both Shino and Atoli both lose in the female role-model category.
Shino: "You can get a guy to like you if... you manipulate his friend into liking you so he can do your bidding!"
Atoli: "You can get a guy to like you if... you incessantly talk about other guys to make him jealous and then complain and pull a massive guilt trip so he'll have no choice but to feel bad about himself."

Gotta say Atoli.... Just because I simply adore her. I guess it's because I act quite a bit like her in real life, I tend to view everyone as a friend even before I get to know them. ^^; She gets over Haseo's griping at her pretty quick too, such a trooper!
