These pages do provide those against the 'Elk = Endrance' Theory with some pretty strong evidence.

From what I can see, it appears to me that Endrance 'summoned' AIDA<Anna> to fight against Haseo. The black energy we've seen Endrance handling surrounds this AIDA which suggests to us that Endrance is a villain, at least to begin with, and that he is connected to the AIDA.

Of course, this is far from conclusive. We have no idea what AIDA<Anna> and Endrance's connection is, he may use this AIDA unwillingly or unwittingly.

If Mia died in the fire, I can kind of see kind of see Elk becoming a villain. He's done drastic things before, like:

 "Eventually, Mia becomes Macha - the Temptress - and attacks Kite's party. Kite defeats Macha, killing her. Elk witnesses this, turns traitor, steals Helba's virus and gives it to Morganna. Morganna develops a vaccine, prompting Helba to develop a new virus."

That's accurate, right? I seem to remember Lios saying he left his post with the vaccine, but nothing past that. ^^; I haven't played in a really long time.

So yeah. Vengeful Elk.

I can see Elk doing that out of desperation, rather than actual vengeance, he realised that Morganna had created Mia and may have hoped to get her back by giving Morganna the virus.

It could be interpreted either way, desperation, vengeance, or both. And like I said, we have no conclusive evidence either way, for all we know, this may prove that Endrance is Elk.

If Tri-Edge is attempting to repair the old World, I can imagine Endrance doing the same thing, hoping to resurrect Mia. The cat may be a fragment of Mia or some other form of AIDA that is telling him to do this.

But, like I said, we are still incapable of drawing any conclusions.

It sounds really amazingly OMFG awesome, but can you pm me the direct image or something, because whenever i click a link, these painted Japanese letters come up. Am I missing something here? (same problem as sora)

I noticed that in .hack//Sign Skeith, (In much better detail then the games) It looks like he wears the symbol of his affialiation on the outside, In Sign, on his "Armor" he had a ?motif? ohf an eye, that looks a bit like Corbinkek, or the Twilight Eye. I don't know if this deals with anything, but to as the new Skeith I can't find any thing resembling (what I thought at least) Was skeith's most predominant feature, besides the wand.

Most, if not all of the Phases had one or several markings that resembled eyes, Skeith had these markings on its chest, shoulders, hands, hips, etc.

However, contrary to Xu Yuan's comment, I can see a number of similar markings where these eyes once were. The most obvious ones are on Skeith's hips, though you can also see them on its hands, body, and even the broken ring of its head. Though they don't really look like eyes and appear to be 'mutated', or at least changed noticeably.

The way I see it, the appearence of Phases proves that either Morganna or Aura will appear in this game.

well i hope that the others phases look cool like the new Skeith.

Waaaaaiiiit... *blink* Why are we all surprised with the new redo of Skeith? I was watching the hi-def trailer of //GU that you can watch via this very site, and the new Skeith is IN it. o_o;

*checks self* I'm only doing this 'cause I'm paranoid...

Yeah. It SHOULD be in the ".hack//GU Trailer (E3) High-res (18mb)" trailer under media on dothackers.net, you see Skeith at the end of it. He flashes onto the screen right towards the end when they're doing all the credits and stuff. I'm 99% sure on it. It flashes by fast, but when you stop it at the screen where it's green and there seems to be three points of light (reminded me of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell), you can see a slightly blurry version of the new Skeith. If that's not him, then I'll eat my left foot, sneaker and all.

Um... Am I the first person to catch that, or am I just horridly, horridly slow? Or crazy?

Everyone is surprised that Haseo turns INTO Skeith. Skeith appearing is -very- old news. <3

Yes,at first,some thought of it as,Haseo "summoning" Skeith.Since he yelled out his name.

Summoning and changing into Skeith are two seperate things,as stated.

Strangely enough if you follow the line she would turn into Macha, the Temptress, as she seems to lean people towards Anna, it seems natural that her "Epitaph" or whatever you want to call it is Macha.

But Endrance is a guy.
Macha was a girl.
The connection between the male character and female ai is what I was aiming for. I mean, that's just kinda wierd. He's a guy going to become the temptress. Maybe an exception could be made and he could be the temptor instead. I just wonder what they'll do to him. Maybe he'll mix w/ the cat and become none-gender or something.

Or you could just get your mind out of the gutter and quit with the traces of homophobia. Endrance could be a girl in real life, we don't know. Or maybe it could just be...god damn, a title and nothing to imply that Endrance is transsexual or something.
