"I must speak with Morganna, no matter what. This fleshly body will only get in the way of meeting her. Even so, I must go."
-one of Harold's notes found in the game (my translation).

When he realized that Morganna was not acting in Aura's best interests, Harold decided to intervene in person. The details of what happened next are not known, beyond the fact that he went missing sometime around the Fragment beta test. One of the inhabitants of Net Slum mentioned that some of the other inhabitants may not have living bodies anymore, "like Harold".

I dont think he is evil or good. you cannot be evil or good until you do it intentionally. I think he is the bracelet with an AI of complete random destruction. Without an explanation CC Corp used the term A.I.D.A to definte things that cannot be explained, He doesnt intentionally kill people, for he has no conciousness, almost in a beserk state.

Hum...wasn't this on and Topic before...well anyways we can Vote for it and see how many people thinks he's evil and not. or come up with more theroies about this. but my safe I do think he's evil but we won't really know until G.U. comes out and see why he's evil in the 1st place.

*make's whip cracking noise*tell her to buzzoff  JK

if tri-edge were a virus, then i would still say that this would be considerd a (milder) form of evilness.

evilness is good!

A virus? No. Not with the Altimit OS. Viruses are pretty much extinct now.

Evil is a subjective term.

One could argue, quite easily in fact, that Morganna wasn't evil. She was just malfunctioning and wanted to survive. Wouldn't we all fight for self-preservation?

So, it might be easier to answer this question when we know Tri-Edges intentions. If he has any, that is, besides random destruction.

what about pluto's kiss that was around during altimt was it not? (may be mistaken though) there for it would make sense because some viruses just copy and it would be copying what Kite or other pk's do.

Actually Pluto's Kiss is what set Altimit apart from all the other OS's because they are the only one to withstand the virus. This is what caused them to become universal in the first place.

Of course, in my personal opinion (with influence from AuraTwilight), CCC took it upon themselves to create a nasty virus that conveniently wipes out any and all competition with Altimit and then blame it on an kid. How odd, how coincidental that a kid creates the Ultimate Virus and conveniently forgets to include destruction to one OS

yeah altlimit iether survived pluto's kiss or was the first one on the scene after pluto's kiss.

it does seem rather convienient 8)

you have spoken the truth here!

however, seeing as we are playing through haseo's eye's(so to speak) and he see's tri-edge as evil, at the moment.....

i doubt that they would use the 'unknown tool of destruction' cliche to this example....unless there was a bigger badguy *cough OVAN cough*

maybe he's not. at this point, this means little to the story. regardless of the intentions of Tri-Edge, this game is from Haseo's point of view, and as such, Tri-edge is the main antagonist of GU vol. 1

evil is indeed subjective, but antagonism is easily defined. ;p

oh that would be the biggest laugh of all...

in the first game, you play haseo. in the second you play tri-edge

80 hour game's can be done in a mastter of day's-week's.

there more fun that way too!

i doubt it will reach 80 hours. Insanely long games like Xenogears only get up to mid 50 hours long - at least for me, i beat it in 52 hours and im told thats really fast for that game.

I think it'll get up to about 45 to 50 hours long.

Maybe Tri-Edge is a player who saw the activities of kite and had the desire to be as powerful as him but using the traditional method of gaining power, then the world R:2 took notice of this and helped him a bit and this player isn’t evil or good he is just there with a single purpose.... an unknown purpose.

I think he simply wants more power to make himself known in the game like tsukasa and kite were, thats why he attacks a powerful player... Haseo.

Unfortunately, we know that Tri-Edge is an AI.
