How does one beat Hidden Darkside Holy Ground?

I ended up just data draining them all instead of arc and it ended up ok, but it was a bit stressful being in the red >_> ALL the time.

Also, I think I may have confused the names - is the name of this thread reffering to the Corbenik dungeon or the epilogue dungeon? :X Cause if it is the Corbenik dungeon then my earlier posts were referring to the wrong one >.>

If it is the 8th phase dungeon then yea - it too me about 45 minutes too, like Dot-Hack-Rules said.

My party was Elk, Helba, and myself. I mostly used Helba for healing duties since she has maxed out HP and stats.

I would recommend using Elk and Helba. With Helba around, you pretty much never have to worry about getting killed.

*pokes post before your post* I made it through...I went crazy...well sort of...I didn't go as crazy as I did when I beat the game but I was still very happy @_@ muwahahaha I guess anything is possible...(well not really) but yay! ...that dungeon took me 3 tries to get through...I thought I could only make it on one try like that 10 fl. dungeon...I guess I was proved wrong oh well at least I still made it! *hugs you back*

Here's a challenge. (D5T's post on it got deleted). If you can survive through that area data draining all of the monsters. (DD them down to there lowest form of mob) You'll be called .hack master. To get a higher rank. Do it alone.

2) apparently if kite is lvl 99 is infection lvl rises slower

no thats not true, it actually depends on what kind of data drain you use,

Data Drain :weak
Drain Arc :normal
Data Drain 2128 :rough
Heart Drain :very rough

and one problem is that if your on blue(like always) your at 20% infected (check the game book) really what i think its luck, because the first time, i went through about 8 floors and they were all infected monsters. Then another time, i found alot of non-infected monsters, so its really luck.

i aint dumb i know about the different dd affects an ur infection but i actually think that bein lvl 99 does help cause i noticed it went up slower after normal dd the same amount of monsters...

so to me i think it works

sorry, i wasnt trying to be offensive or anything, just trying to point out something. A big hint to the creator would be to avoid useing drain heart and 2128.

i wouldn't use drain arc either

well though, it would be useful when your fighting 2 infected guardians.

Yeah, it would.
The infection rate is based on two things:

the version of Data Drain you use (normal Data Drain raises the infection the fewest)
...and Kite´s level (the higher your own level, the bigger is the amount of Data Drains you can do before getting an system error!)

but doesn't that raise ur infection lvl faster aswell?

if you do arc, it only counts 1 and 1/2 monster foreveryone.
so its very little.

I got through that dungeon,it was a pain in the but. I used helba and elk and gave both of them two weapons that had 3 of the 6 pha summons. So both could cast all 6 pha level summons. Lastly, I went in with empty DD and just more or less went through the dungeon an almost suicidal mind set. Trust me, just stop caring about game over and DD as if you were Skeith. Let the Bracelet in a way, Think for you and it becomes much less worrysome. For me, this mind set just kicked in on my third try down(I left the first two times because I got scared of the System Error chance). You WILL rip the dungeon a new exit, just try it because I know I did!
