Zorlo sat quietly in classes and continued to take notes and study. This wasn't what he was best at, but knowing just enough about stuff was very important. Zorlo's notes were adjusted as to what he could gauge as important and what wasn't. As he sat in his classrooms and listened, he couldn't help but let his mind wander. Part of him still knew this was boring.

*After class, cafeteria*
The trio sat down eating their food, as they ate, Ilfriede raised a question, "What do you think of that Zorlo fellow?" she asked, the other two looked in surprise at the question, "I personally think he's a good person, although he seems to be trying to hard, he should learn that there's more to life than learning how to fight, like having kids, or having a family....." Said Alis as she began to turn red, the other two now know what she wants in life, "I for one thinks he's rather arrogant, and a plebe who just wants to prove himself, too bad all that will get him is some broken bones and humiliation." said Cecilia with scorn, "I personally think he's a nice guy, he just hides it under that 'I want to train hard' look." said Ilfriede, the three then went back to eating their food.

Weight training. It wasn't something he had done much before. His muscles twitched violently as he pushed the bar up and straightened his back. His eyes twitched as he lowered down and started the system again. The man shifted forwards and watched the bar and weights fall to the base of the device. Taking a deep breath, he felt his muscles cry out in pain. "Such intense work… I need to keep at it. After all, I won't become anything more than I am if I can't overcome my current limits," he stated with a sigh.

*Afternoon, end of lessons*
The three girls sat under a tree, Ilfriede was lying down, Alis and Cecilia were sitting reading books, They were then approached by three guys, "Uh hey." started the one in blue clothes, "We were wondering if you ladies would like to come eat with us over there." he continued, "Food sounds good!" said Ilfriede getting up, "Awesome!" Said one in orange clothes, "Come on Ilfriede, food again?." said Alis, "You should watch your weight you know." said Cecilia, in the end though, Ilfriede got them to come along, they met a fourth member of the guys and learned they were brothers, the one in blue was Leonardo, the one in orange Michelangelo, the one in red was Raphael, and the one in purple was Donatello, the food they had was pizza, Alis and Cecilia took one slice each while Ilfriede helped herself, the four guys invited them over since they noticed them from Instructor Wilson's class, they were joined by another girl who had red hair, they then talked about School life and how many students get their butts handed to them by Instructor Wilson, "I hear they call him 'The Terminator'." said Mikey, after a while, the Trio said goodbye to their new friends and headed back to their room.

Zorlo was already back. He hadn't really been concerned about where the others had gone. They were adults, more or less, so they could be as free as they wanted to be. He sat quietly and cracked his shoulders and back. Everything hurt, but he felt like he was reaching a point. Reaching a point where all of his training would work out in his favor. TOmorrow he might have a chance to prove how much his work had worked out. "I'll prove myself now," he stated as he heard the door open. He guessed they were back. He closed his section off and sighed slightly. This routine was becoming annoying, but this was his fate.

"Oh, you're back, how was your day?" Ilfriede asked out of concern for the cracking noises.

"Excellent. The Weight room was great," he acknowledged as he shifted slightly. "I'm finally figuring out my limits. I haven't felt this… strained… in months. I've really enjoyed it," Zorlo stated honestly and purely. "Still, I guess I seemed out of place from everyone else there. Seemed more like a social outing than a place to strain ones body."

"Well, that's nice." said Ilfriede, "Sweet dreams then Zorlo." she said with a smile as she closed their side of the room.

Zorlo was at a loss for words for a moment before he laid down and went to sleep.

*The NExt Morning*

Zorlo had awoken for morning training. He always took at least an hour before he went to breakfast to work out. His entire body was sore. His muscles rippled with pain as he swung his wooden sword and held his wooden shield. His back, thighs, calves and triceps all roared with their resistance to being used. He paused and fell such that his sword stabbed into the ground. "I might… I might be overdoing it," He told himself with a chuckled as he forced himself to rise and slowly lifted his sword. "But… I can't… I can't be anything if I don't work harder than everyone else…"

The Trio were eating breakfast while looking over their schedule, today they just had one subject, 8:00-9:40, it was history with Instructor Wilson, after eating, they left for the classroom.

*After class*
The girls were eating lunch, Ilfriede was rather dissapointed Zorlo didn't come along, but he had some training to do after all.

Everything was at its breaking point. He'd worked himself to near death already. He hadn't stopped training since he arrived. Between studying and combat training, he'd strained his muscles and his entire body ached. He sighed as he started off to get food. He was hungry. It wasn't until he looked at the clock that he realized his roommates would be there. "Huh… that was odd…" he commented as he looked around. His vision went blurry for a second. He was probably dehydrated as well… had he really been taking such poor care of himself.

He felt sick… very sick. He shuffled towards somewhere he could grab food. He need some water mostly, though. As he stopped moving, everything slowly began to settle back to normal. "Okay… I'll be fine now," he stated as he nearly fell over.

He could hear it… laughter. Not surprisingly, others were laughing at him. Well, as his body nearly collapsed to the ground, he just listened. Today wasn't going to be a good day.

Ilfried then noticed Zorlo, she also noticed that he didn't seem to be feeling well, he looked exhausted, Ilfriede got up and went to him and held him by the shoulder, "Are you alright Zorlo? You look like you've been through hell." said the young woman.

Zorlo looked at her. The world spun around him for a moment before he simply stumbled forwards and collapsed onto the ground. As he lay at her feet, he felt his body warming and sickness setting in. Likely he'd gotten some kind of flu or illness from his time training without any regard for his body.

His mind shifted to times long ago. He recalled the sound of falling rain. His mother's face… and then… shame. When she had died, the people left to keep watch over him had stressed incessantly about his lineage and how hard he had to work. Before that day, he hadn't been able to figure out what everyone wanted… but it slowly made sense. THey wanted him to be some kind of messiah for his family. They'd lost their place of importance, and now all that was left were some remnants of long ago.

And because of these reminders and the loss of his mother, his life had become nothing. He was insignificant to others.. just a burden now. And so… that was how he had arrived here to be.

His mind unclouded and his vision cleared. He looked around for a moment and noticed he was in the infirmary. "Good day. It seems you caught a bit of pneumonia. You aren't allowed to train or do anything strenuous for the next seven days. If you break that demand, you will be removed," the doctor stated as he set a note next to the table in Z's infirmary room. "NOw get some rest."

Zorlo laid back and sighed. He suddenly felt like getting a haircut and changing his look a bit. When he could stand, that would probably be a good idea.

"We had to carry you all the infirmary you know." Said Alis, the Trio were standing next to the bed, "Pushing yourself beyond your limit is not gonna make yourself stronger, it's gonna kill you, like Bruce Lee." said Ilfriede, she had a very stern look on her face, "A weak man is one thing, but a man who tries hard and makes a fool out of himself is far worse." said Cecilia, "Bottomline: Don't ever do that again, if you do, me and Ilfriede are gonna beat you senseless." said Alis.

Zorlo paused as he looked at the women. He wasn't quite sure what to do… at first. He paused and smiled. And then laughter erupted from his mouth. What they were saying was hysterical beyond words to him. "Oh, that's awesome," he said as he smiled at Alis and Ilfriede and took one of each of their hands into each of his hands, holding their hands back to back against one another. "I promise that I won't push you lovely ladies to that," he stated with a smile as he looked between them. "And thank you, and you as well Cecilia. ITs an honor to know I have roommates such as yourselves, ladies. Your honor is doubtless, I just wish there was an adequate way I could repay you!"

The three then sighed, "Good to know, if you want a rematch with Instructor Wilson or just some pointers, you can ask for him in the faculty room." Said Alis, "Alright, we gotta go, we'll see you back at the room tonight." added Alis, the Trio then left.

Zorlo flushed and laid back down. He was tired again, and he drifted off into sleep.

The next morning came as all mornings do… with the shine of the sun into his eyes. Zorlo sat up and cracked his neck. He was feeling better already. The world felt less… well, dreary, suddenly. He had things to do and classes, he was sure. He couldn't recall WHAT those were, but that it was important he go. And so he did.

The Trio were in class, all three of them were genuinely concerned with their roommate, Cecilia found his trying to prove himself more annoying than insignificant men, Alis however didn't like the idea of a guy pushing himself too hard, and Ilfriede finds muscles disturbing.

*After class, Courtyard*
The Trio were eating under a tree, as they ate they saw Zorlo, Ilfriede waved at him, "Hey! Over here!" said Ilfriede.

Zorlo approached and bowed at the women. WIth his hair cut and his clothing a bit changed. He felt… better… changed. "Good day, ladies," he said with a bow as he knelt down and kissed the hands of Ilfriede and Alis, "I hope classes are treating you well." He looked… better, but still slightly pale. Probably still recovering, after all.

"Day's been fine, you should join us for food, we have some food to spare we got for you, say aah" said Ilfriede as she brought up some Carbonara to him, Alis and Cecilia laughed.
