"Um uh, I-I don't understand." He managed to get out despite the sheer terror he was feeling. He wanted nothing more than to leave, the person that had dragged him here had wings and now he was saying that Cross couldn't be allowed to leave? But this other person, who apparently owned the house they were in said he could and as host his word was more important, right? Despite whatever things the first person had in mind to do to him if he tried to leave. Which he sorely wanted to, but something was bothering him. He didn't even know there was a way to identify him as a magic user, not at the level he had attained. Especially since he didn't wear or carry anything that even pertained to magecraft. If anymore demons or vampires or whatever this guy was showed up, he didn't want to draw any attention to himself. "I uh I think I'll be leaving, but um first. Y-you mentioned that you thought I was a uh a magician. What um what makes you think I can do that s-sort of thing? I don't even have a uh a deck of cards on me."

Cross pulled his hood up and waved as he exited.

((I realize y'all are all up in arms about what Cross is. First of all, Kai's right, Cross is not a dragon. And second of all he's not going take a possible attack lying down.))

Cross noticed the red ray coming from Minato. He crossed his arms in front of him and said, "Shield". The ray hits a faint shimmer before it can reach Cross. Thus revealing nothing except that he knows how to cast a shield spell. He motioned with his hand and the door swung shut, he clenched his fists and said, "Lock". The door is now sealed by a hold portal spell, it lasts for one minute and functions as if the door were locked. It can still be bashed down. That buying him at most a minute Cross begins sprinting as fast as he can, taking the first turn around a house to cut off line of sight. Not that it would help much if the guy decided to fly up and try to kill him from on high.

minato appears in front of cross making him fall to the ground hey you weirdo kid we are not gonna kill you minato goes to where kyo is and ask again hey kyo i think you gonna kill me for this but, how can i be a vampire?(oh yeah gamerkale im not winged anymore, instead of that i can appear and desappear)

Cross almost had a heart attack when Minato appeared in front of him. He looked around after he disappeared, unsure of what to expect. He did say he wasn't going to kill him, but that wasn't very reassuring. He carefully picked himself up and began jogging back home. I need to get a vehicle, maybe a moped. It was getting late when he got home and he noted his sister's current boyfriend's car out front. He thought back to what spells he had prepared that morning, none would do what he wanted, so with a sigh he walked into the house. "Sis, I'm home." He shouted loudly as he kicked his shoes off. He heard a man swear quietly, which brought a smile to his face.

He made a pit stop for a glass of water and a sandwich before heading to his room. With the evening's events he slid grandfather's spell book out from beneath the bed and began rifling through the book for a specific page. It was a long term warding spell that would prevent any supernatural entities from noticing the house, as well as ward against anyone from entering without the permission of an Evenstar. The words on the page glowed as Cross read them and then faded from existence as the spell took effect. The magic released felt like it burned him to his core through sheer power. "Thanks grandpa." He sat up in his bed until the wee hours of the morning to study some of the spells he might actually be able to learn.
