Hmm can we return to topic. (>Grimcrim) Yeah the beast design's were the only thing from the demo. (Bird, Dog, Squirel). I do think its creative. Gotta say it was my first time seeing a squirel girl. The canine designs should be up next.

I doubt it. This is the Staff Voice section we're talking about, not Design Works. The staff member posting can choose whatever kind of picture they want. It's the same as Staff Voice was in G.U...

This isn't the final character design, it's just concept art. It *is* by the guy who invented Haseo in the first place, though, so he has the right to draw him however he damn well pleases. This is like grumbling about Yoshitaka Amano's Cloud Strife:

Sure, it looks weird as hell, but without that guy the character wouldn't even exist...

Plus, it's art. Art is allowed to not follow the "rules" and be weird like that.

Eh, I figure it just looks like Haseo normally does in LINK.

Also, just because the guy invented the character doesn't mean you have to like his art. I, for one, much prefer the final concepts of pretty much all the characters in .hack// (except for a few whose previous concepts I've seen in G.U.).

Nah, actual Link Haseo looks a lot more Megane Kikuya-y. And I'm not saying everyone has to like it, just that it's impossible for him to "ruin" his own character...

That's true as well, just as true as it is for other artists to improve upon it... but it was still kind of stupid to say that the original artist "ruined" the character.

Eh. I wish they would of went with the Third Form design of Haseo for this installment. It made him look very cool and intimidating. I always abhored his First Form, since he looks like a male stripper. :/ Regaurdless, great concept art nonetheless.

It's not like his third form is any better, what with the insanely low-hung pants. Besides, he's blatantly exposing about 90% of his abdomen... you call that not manwhorish?

And also, us girls need SOME kind of fanservice. We need less women like Pi and more men like Haseo.
