There ARE ways of having ridiculously unkempt hair and still being attractive (see Kyle Dunamis from Tales of Destiny 2...), but Edward Cullen is not one of those cases.

Plus there's this one pic of him that whenever I stare at it for long enough, I burst into laughter at how absurdly stupid he looks.

(And after reading a brief summary of Breaking Dawn, I can safely say that the side characters are MUCH more interesting than the mains... too bad they NEVER get any spotlight. 'course, I had to stop reading it halfway through because GAWD WOMAN, STOP PUTTING IN POINTLESS CHAPTERS FILLED WITH PLOTLESS TEXT.)

But yea, take Edward and Bella out of the story, and you'd greatly improve the series as a whole. Do that, and make the vampires not sparkly god mode Mary Sues, and you'd have a decent book.

Just out of curiousity; what is about him that makes girls (and guys in some cases) turn into cult fan-girls?

1. Don't drink blood.
2. Live in the forest.
3. Sparkle.

That sounds more like faeries than vampires.

That might explain why I have such a hard time getting a date. I already don't drink blood, so I should move into the Black Forest, cover myself in glitter, and kiss any girl whose offering.

Unfortunatly, that has dissapeared, I'm just sad for future generations to come, never to know about the classic Vampire and Fairy.

Alot of things are changing/ending in our generation o.o Pluto not a planet anymore, the apparent 2012 (this discussion's for another thread :O), and this whole Twilight Fairpire thing <_<.

I think we should solve this problem by putting all of "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob" into a room together, and have them duke it out like fighting fish until all of them are gone.

No, we should force all the Twilight fans into one big theater and have them watch all the vampire movies in history (Queen of the Damned, Daybreakers, Interview with a Vampire) and show that if you go out on a date with a vampire it won't go about like a fairy tale.

But then they **** about how Edward Cullen is better and deny that they are vampires, so the problem isn't solved. I think having them ram into each other until they die is a much better solution.

Oh yeah, I forgot: most teenagers can't understand the meaning of the words "common sense".
