I would establish myself as a being not to dissimilar to Cthulhu, and maybe even go as far as making myself in the imae of his body and size. Then I would sleep for a millenia, wake up, kill every human on the planet, and rule a world full of fish people. However, as godly as I would be, I would still be but a mere messenger boy compared to thine undying divinity.

I wonder what would happen if this world you created turned out to be just a dream, and you just happened to wake up because of a minor disturbance..

But wait... what if AT IS god and is just tying with us now by showing himself. In that way of thinking, we are all in someone world, or maybe its our own world and every one else is fake... Quite and interesting way of thinking. Like the matrix, only... well better.

And to answer Your question AT... I would leave a single cell on a planet, and let nature take its course and see what evolves. Over the years one cell will divide into many, and then into new creatures, and slowly into civilizations. I just want to see what will happen, I guess I would as time goes on change certain land scapes to make certain things have to evolve differently to adept, but aside from that nothing.

in other words i would build a planet inhabited by naked fish monsters and than blow it up so they cant be intelligent enough to beat me in a mind game. than i would move on to build a space shuttle made completely out of sponges and crazy glue, than i would fly to the moon and turn my spaceship into a cheese laser and turn the moon into American cheese and than eat it, so then i successfully turn into the moon demi-god... also demi-god of cheese is a bonus.

Me? If I was given the power to control eternity and infinity I would build my world in the concept of dominoes, everything having a chain of reactions and possiblities. I would arrange each domino differently, numerous forks or turns for each to take and with many different outcomes. I would watch each domino closely, seeing the different turns they would take. The only time I would intervene is if I didn't like a reaction.

For example; in a forest on a planet much the Earth we live on today a tiger like animal would come across a village of nomads. This tiger's path of dominoes merges with a villager's and heads for a fork in the path. The left leads to the tiger killing the villager, striking fear into the rest of the village. The villager's leave the area and the tiger would set the path for all the wildlife to spread, with no disturbence caused by a foreign presence. The right leads to the villager killing the tiger, giving the others hope and confidence that this land was their new home and it would grow into a nation much like Russia or Spain.

I would continue to watch this nation grow and if I didn't like what I seen I would stop the domino from continuing to fall and set each back up to the fork that started and let the tiger live.

My world, no, my universe will be like a newborn: all these different chances, all these different choices will be given to it the day of its birth and all I would do is lead it to which path seems the best and watch it grow; all the way until the last domino falls.

I'd pretty much make the same universe as I'm already in with a few minor changes.

People would naturally be more tolerant of each other. That being said, people would also try to be less offensive to one another.
People would be more driven to do something with their lives.
People would focus more on scientific improvement and environmental stabilization, and not let religion get in the way. But not so focused that music, entertainment, and ingenuity take a toll.
People would be less likely to donate their money to charities because they'd realize doing so puts a strain on their own economy.
And last but not least, I would reveal myself when the time is right as their creator, doing things that defy the laws of science. And since their laws of science would be more advanced because I made them focus on it more, it would be easier to prove that I'm a deity.

I could see it now! Instead of shingles and siding, houses would be covered in solar panels! Cars would be electric powered! The length of a hangover and the length of an orgasm would switch places!
