onto the more on topic discussion about kite's pants... if he does have his bracelet, then it might just be the fact that the artist got lazy and couldn't be bothered to do the leg markings =/...

or in another topid, maybe its because the game is on a handheld, the graphics may look crappy. Or that.

I think he had to make an all new character, so I just don't think he'll need the bracelet, I think he just made his character orange, to make himself more comfortable.

They said they needed Kite's courage, not his bracelet, its just my opinion.

But do you really think Kite would do all of that (not at the end, but like in Infection) if he didnt have the bracelet?

And yeah, I think so, I mean, it may not be the bracelet, but something brought him back to the game if he became the guild leader and is fighting for control of cores. I just don't completely see a reason for the bracelet.

The only reason why he wouldn't do all that and became a .hacker without the bracelet it'd be because Skeith would've eaten him. But he just had alot of courage in rescuing Orca and helping whoever he could, and that wasn't some sort of bracelet energy...it was his own will and courage; Kite is more brave any other .Hack character, excluding Piros but he's Piros :P
And we don't even know how Kite ended up in R:X being the leader of that guild, let alone if that has any relation to the bracelet...which he might still keep but doubtfully will have the same power as it had in R:1 :/

As of how it could be because the game's on handheld and graphics might be poor...Well, it's 2020 already and a PSP game right now can have better graphics than alot of PS2 games, so i don't think that has to do with it XD

just for dual-blade aiden.. i re-checked chapter 3.. yes kite does have his bracelet in this manga,  he uses it to data drain fluegel towards the end of the chapter

Because he's a dothacker. He was the one that had the strength to dodge all of Morganna's attacks, in the end, he was the last one standing.

You shouldn't worry too much about the pants imo o__O

In Legend of the Twilight, if you pay attention to the drawings, half the time the line's weren't drawn on Shugo's pants and the other half they're there. It could easily be something like that, or in R:X they're not as lax about symbols on clothes since R:X appears to be like Fragment, since you had to sign up for it (well, I don't think people signed up for Fragment, but i think you get the idea). Or it just wasn't deemed important enough to transfer over.
