I wonder if they ever showed how Haseo looks in the game's real world. The only characters I can guess that they showed are Alkaid and Sakaki.

Alkaid being the girl in the game's news when she just fell into a coma.

and Sakaki being that one kid in the online jack. I wonder if it was him though, I never actually finished it because it was kinda dumb-in my opinion though. The only ones I watched were the ones in vol 2 I never watched vol 1 or 3's.

You get to see Bordeaux too, in a News Article after Haseo beated her in Vol. 1. And a little of Shino in the last episode of Online Jack.
The rest you can mostly find them on GU+, i guess. It's not canon but most likely their looks they show on them are real ones.

And yeah, Sakaki is Tooru Uike. Just a smarty kid who acted too mature and 'perfect' but too immature enough to end up doing all what he did and being so obsessed with it. Can't blame him at all though; just a kid who suddenly got power.

//GU+ probably has to make them have a basic look. Like, they got Shino and Misaki down (they're not that hard to draw lol). That and most of the characters probably look somewhat like their PCs offline.

Ok, in Volume 1, after you fight her, go log out and head to News Capture. You will find an article about a girl who goes comatose. She's blonde. Not hard to miss.

The reasoning behind the Haseo Alkaid pairing I believe is the fact everybody loves Alkaid so its only natural. Anyways when do you see a picture of alkaid in real life I'v seen every other mentioned but can't find Alkaid. Oh yea and my reasoning for choosing alkaid was not because I like her lol I have other reasons that I prefer not to go to in-depth about cause then it would take this thread forever to go away lol.

How on earth can you make a dot hack movie without the other epitaph users. I'm not all that acquainted with .hack//g.u. (Curses fact that he doesn't own PS2) but I support HaseoxAlkaid. The "death scene" kind of sells it. I found the charming prince line funny since Haseo did technically wake her up.

yeah. i loved that scene! (i always cry when i see it, even up to now since the day i got Reminisce. i made a seperate save file leading up to that scene so i can always watch it) you can see that Haseo cares for her in that scene. And the way he's crying while telling her to hold on was so touching. And when she finally loses consciousness, he yells her name into the air. I personally think that Haseo and Alkaid may have made a great couple! I also love the scene in the arena when Alkaid was trying to piss off Atoli. Atoli:To....to..." Alkaid:To? Atoli:Together? Alkaid:Yeah, together. Atoli: What does she mean by that Haseo!?......Alkaid: We had some really hot, super secret training. Just the two of us. (i laughed when i saw that scene. it was so funny!) so yeah, definitely Alkaid and Haseo! Though they may not have had much of a giant relationship or spent a lot of time together, i think those two are the best couple! Personally, i love Alkaid! I always have her in my party!
