The anime is suppose to follow the manga, except for fillers, and in the manga Naruto doesn't die. If he does in the anime, it makes it a filler, and filters are non-canonical and cannot affect the main storyline. But if Naruto dies, it certainly does affect the main storyline. So it creates a quantum fluctuation, and it collapses in on itself, making the Naruto anime never exist, and everyone goes back to reading the manga, just as it should be.

IMO,a manga or anime with the main charactor dieing is a good thing.It shows some reality.Take Deathnote for example. Light died.Most people specualated that he would die.Like a god.He thought of himself as a god.And he died like the most pathetic human ever.It showed that even with power,you still fear the end.The nothingness.He thought he was invincable and was proven wrong.So Naruto dieing maybe a good thing,because "Believing in It" isnt good make you Death Proof.Quinton Terintino(sp?) is.

I don't think I'd be angry if he died... But I would find it odd.

As much as we dream that Sasuke should die,i dont think Narutos gonna do it.He's gay for Sasuke.Look,he's always thinking about Sasuke,basically torn his arm off for Sasuke,and always wants to see and help Sasuke.

as much as i love the manga, i don't watch the show because of naruto's voice, i think the series needs to come to an end. there are just too many chaptetrs and episodes and craap too keep up with. i buy each new manga volume when it comes out and frankly am sick of it. i need this money for my .hack and videogame needs. sorry naruto but u need to die off.

The finale of Naruto will most likely be the confrontation between Naruto, the Akatsuki Leader, who has been speculated to be  Uchiha Madara, Yondaime, and others, who are all liquified assumptions with no solid grounding up until this point, and a third, still unknown party. Therefore, this movie will have no impact on the anime itself, whether Naruto dies or not. Love or hate him, Naruto's death will be properly presented in the anime..should it come to pass.

Sasuke does need to die, agreed. Hopefully,  Deidara finished him in the manga after blowing himself up, but I highly doubt that they would let it happen in that circumstance.

yeah i read on wikipedia that the fox would take full control over naruto or something if that happended then he would die. or some thing like that.

Please,dont not let me get my hopes up.If that was the real outcome,Id be throwing a party on sunday(gotta get the Harry Potter book of friday,and finish it sunday.).But this is Sasuke,and he doesnt die so damn easy. I explosion that big may cause damage,but I bet 10,000 bucks hes still alive.

I would have to agree with you on that statement. As much as we would celebrate in his demise, he wouldn't die that easy, just as you put it. Hopefully at least,  Deidara's explosion hurts him critically, since coming out unscathed would be outright ****. In any case, let's pray that something fatal happens to him, and soon.

Hope the book is enjoyable btw, people have stated that the new movie is the best in the chronicle.

I'm a tad late, but who says the Naruto movies can't fit into the anime story? Movie one can takes place after Tsunade returns and before the Village of Rain or whatever arc. The other two fit into the filler. Unless you're referring to the manga, but I don't see why you would...

This movie in particular could have an indirect, or non-canon relaton to the anime. Similar to DBZ, where the movies took place after a specified event in the anime, though still had no direct relation to the anime itself. For example's sake, the Cell Games would have been crafted around the same time Kakarot and the Z warriors fought Broly on the psuedo "Planet New Vegeta", meaning it would have overlapped with the Android Saga. In the anime, Broly was never mentioned, or spoken about after his defeat, only in the following movies. The point is, the movie can happen, and people can die, yet the anime can continue as if nothing transpired out of the "normal" flow of the series. It's just an assumption however, and like anything assumed, I could be wrong, though animes have a track record for doing these sorts of things.
