Lenae had been sitting on a branch of the white tree that Nemfora was sitting under. She had come there after they had met at the church. she was sitting there thinking.

Where could she have gone? didn't she know that without her presence in this world that they would return? Lenae thought.

her dragon blaze then nudged her shoulder and she looked down. Sitting there was the player that she had met in the church. she then hopped down from the tree, and landed in front of him.

" So tell me, will you save the AI's will you help to fight agains their return?" Lenae asked in a questioning tone.

Nemfora stood, stunned at the appearance of Lenae. DAMN! How long had she been listining!?

"Lenae....I" Nemfora stuttered.

"You didn't answer me.... how long will it take you to ANSWER ME!?" she looked so sad, almost hollowed out.

"I can't.... be god..... I'm not her," Lenae spoke softly

"I don't know if I should Lenae," Nemfora hesitated

"I know that you activated the bracelet again," Nemfora looked at her and suddenly she grinned. Lenae may be less innocent then she seems.

"I don't have time for Jade Trickery," she replied. She turned her head and picked up her scythe. The symbols lit up and her eyes flashed white and purple violently. She looked at him again once it was over.

"God may be gone, but the Eyes of "The World" are back," she must've known how this would affect Nemfora.

"F....FATE?" Nemfora gasped. He didn't expect this.... this was very very strange. Nemfora couldn't bear to hear more so he plunged himself into the icy waters. He sunk down and hit the bottom of the water. He merely shrugged and stomped one time really hard. The floor collapsed and he sank into Wailing Capital Wald Uberlisterin. He found many AI's here in the past. Not normal players, the system administrators had protected it long ago. Something was waiting for him. This was Nemfora's first encounter with Dark Blade, and the Dusk Bracelet.

(OOC: Please, dont make my character evil. She is NOT evil.)

Lenae jumped into the water as well.

You won't get away this time nemfora. Lenae thought.

Then swimming through the waters she followed Nemfora. She then saw what he had done.

No....She then once again. Landed beside him.

She then grabbed his arm violently, and looked him straight in the eyes.

"You don't care about the AI's do you....u just want to use us." She said as tears came from her eyes. "and....so what if I activated the bracelet....it was the only way to stop them from returning. With the power of the bracelet, hopefully they can defeat them before they become a major threat." Lenae said as more tears fell from her eyes.

The White Knight was having a particularly tough run through this dungeon. Usually, she would make it to the last floor of the dungeon before getting beaten down by a monster mob, but now she could barely make it past the first floor.
What is WITH these monsters today.
She pulls out her sword and starts hacking away at the monsters, doing only 1 damage each time. She quickly searched her inventory for something that could defeat them, and came across a familiar sword. She switches out her basic sword for the familiar sword with the blue stripe down the middle.
Alright, time for some wrath of the heavens!
She leaps up into the air, and cleaves the monsters in half easily. She puts the sword away, and continues down lower.

It looked like she was finally going to make it past a dungeon for the first time since she started her game. She was still at level 1 because she always died on the last floor. But now, she's been dominating, as long as she had Balmung's Sword equipped. She checked her minimap, she was only one room away from the statue chamber.
Alright, looks like I'm going to escape this dungeon intact, for once.
She entered the room and, wouldn't you know it, there was a giant monster waiting for her. She pulled out her sword and readied for a Sword Flash, when the monster counterattacked quicker than she could charge. She tried again, and got one off, cleaving the huge creature in half. She went to put her sword away, and saw the girl in white.
Huh? Where did you come from... wait... are you?
The girl just disappeared as soon as she was seen. White Knight just shook her head, and went to get her treasure, and heads back to town.

[Darshia]

Darshe saw little reason to remain in the field now so he returned to town the image of the girl in white still in his head. he wondered who she was or what she was...no player would've appeared like that.....

Unsure of what to do but unable to simply forget the girl he decided to post on the forum but was more than a little surprised when he saw the posts about a mysterious girl in white that were already there...apparently she was some kind of urban legend....But he'd actually seen her!

'man.now what should I do?' he wondered 'I'll look like some nut case if I try and ask about it now...obviously she's not an event npc...so what is she?'

Curious he logged back into the game "I wonder....maybe there was something else there I missed." He went to the chaos gate and brought up the word history Delta Hidden Solitary Maiden Upon looking at the words again and thinking about it he felt stupid. "Of course..it's got to be some kind of event....there's no way it was just a co-incidence I happened to run into a mysterious girl in a place with an area name like that...Maybe CC corp created something based on the rumors?"

2:47 PM..
Jot had just gotten home from school and the first thing he did was log in..

"I'm still in these clothes, what happened yesterday!?" said Jot not surprised. 'I'll have to get used to them now... Great, now no one knows who I am now!"

Jot noticed that there was no pain in his wrist. He walked towards the Chaos Gate.

" Delta [Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground]!" yelled Jot.

Jot was warped to a beautiful cathedral that veryone one knows well, the Hulle Grahz. Jot ran towards the door and when he got there, he saw a character screaming.

"What's wrong?" asked Jot, but it was too late, the character had warped before he could finish. "What was that about a god?"

Jot walked over to the front of the cathedral, but only to notice that somethign was wrong.

"Where' the statue of Aura?!" said Jot to himself. The gitr he saw the dya before seeped into his mind. "Could that have been, Aura? Wait, no way! Things like this never happen to me, but, could that have really been Aura? And does that mean the what happened yesterday is connected to the missing statue? Is that what the guy was refering to, Aura is missing!"

Jot hough to hismself what were the consequences of [The Wolrd] without Aura.

"I wonder if he knows? said Jot before he wapred out of the area. When Jot got to Mac Anu, he stared running to the heart of Mac Anu, the CC Corp Hq in the Wolrd...

[Dark Blade]

Dark Blade had been in the same spot in Hulle Granz for what seemed like hours. To him it didnt matter how long he had truly been there. If by some happenstance she would come back he would wait an eternity in that very spot.

His eyes both in the real world and in the game were still streaming tears when someone had entered the cathedral. Dark Blade did not recognize this person and simply ignored him and left the area.

Dark Blade rematerialized in Mac Anu completly off balance and nearly collapsed by the chaos gate.

"I ... I ... I MUST find her!" Dark Blade said the last with absolute determination as he stood up.

Dark Blade looked at his wrists. "I swore an oath to her. That i would never use this thing without just cause. I fear this is not a just cause. But I WILL see her returned!"

He steadied himself. What he was about to do would produce unimaginable pain for him in the real world.

"Key of the twilight. Shard of the dusk ..." Dark Blade began chanting the protective code he had asked to be placed on the braclet to keep it from being usable.

"Show strength where once there was none ..." Dark Blade's wrists began to hurt like they did the night before, only this time the pain was spreading through the rest of his arms down to his body.

"Grant power to this unworthy one ..." The pain was becoming unbearable now. Increasing to the point where anyone else would have simply blacked out.

"Release the seal!" As he said the last line of the encryption he put his wrists together. The two halves of the bracelet shone brightly. A thin white line began covering the seam of where the two sides met. Dark Blade closed his eyes and waited.

When he opened his eyes he knew what had happened. His appearance had changed, and the two sides of the braclet were in one piece on his right wrist.

Dark Blade looked over his shoulders and moved his wings; testing to see if he could control them. He could as it turned out. Upon further inspection he found his hair had even gone from black to a silverish white color. He examined all the markings and armor design as best he could. With no reflective surfaces readily available to him he assumed his face looked different as well.

Thankfully it was a slow time of the day and no one had been near to him when he had done all this. At least nobody he had noticed.

"Now then." He said as he flexed his new wings. "Time to find my missing maiden." With this he tore through the protection on Wailing Capital Wald Uberlisterin and began gating there to begin his search.

"And find my missing friend ..." He whispered to himself as he disappeared from the city.

Dark Blade searched underneath him but Nemfora had hacked himself up into the sky with Lenae. He stood on his created platform. It was streaming with binary, he never really got the hang of graphic design.

"Why.....why..... why are you doing this to me?" He could hide it no longer. The proud hacker was crying and his voice revealed it.

"I don't hate the AI's and I only used them once. It was a mistake, but WHY are you bringing me back to the pain?" Nemfora trembeled. They were back, the memories. They flowed through him like poison. He could see the news headline "Ten CC Corp Men Comotose". His M2D was blurry in the real world and online. That's when Lenae slapped him.

The struck was sudden but meaningful.

"Don't you get it?" she snapped.

"This is an oppertunity for forgiveness! You can be saved!" she looked at him, almost staring at his real eyes.

"It won't be easy I promise, but the bracelet will help!" she looked so determined.

"But..." he sobbed, "that's half the problem! You turned on the light... and when there's light....."

"There's shadows..." she must've already considered this.

"I know, but I prevented it by sealing the Dusk bracelet. As long as it remains sealed we are safe." She eased the discomfort. Then they heard Dark Blade call.

"Lenae! I know you're here. I activated the bracelet! Now we can find her!" Dark Blade looked around for Lenae, but high above both faces were full of terror.

"Oh, no...." Lenae said

The ground began rumbling and Wailing Capital Wald Uberlisterin the land of the dead, resurrected it. From the shining light of the bracelet came shadows, and from the shadows......came. Nemfora couldn't stand to speak the monsters name. From the shadows came....

The White Knight returned from another successful trip into the dungeons. At this rate she'd make her job extension in no time. Still, she couldn't get the image of the girl out of her mind. With no where else to turn, she logged out and jumped on to the message boards. She wrote up a quick message and posted it.

Rika sat back in her chair, with her M2D off to her side. She had some homework to get done, but decided to keep the forum window open in case someone else saw the girl too.

(Sorry if this isn't what you want, I'm used to a certain type of RP, and I'm also trying to portray my character as a newbie who doesn't know what's going on yet.)

"What do you mean " That's not of your concern!", I now him, now let me in so I can tlak to him!" requested Jot.

'Sorry sir but-"
"Let him in, I was expecting him.."
"Lios!" said Jot surprised. " I need to speak with you, its very important that you shoould know!"
"Let us go soewhere private, follow me" said Lios. As they walked, there was an akward silence and Jot felt like he was bieng watched or something. The Silence broke when Jot asked:
"Do you know about what happend to Aura?"
"Why do you ask?" asked Lios
"Somewthign happened, cant you tell, look at me!?" said Jot.
"He does seem different, wait, whats that on his right wrist!?" said Lios in his mind. As soon as Jot saw Lios looking at the transparent bracelet that always seemd to be invicible to Jot, he cover in with his left hand.
"Jot, tell me everything that happed.."
Jot explained everything..

Ryoichi gated in, and he remembered almost immediately after the strange bracelet he had around his left arm. What is this... thing? he asked himself in his mind, as he gated out to delta hidden forbidden holy ground.

"Cubia..." Said Dark Blade solomley as the beast slowly ascended in front of him.

So what he had been told was true. But something wasnt quite right with the creature. From rumors and what parts of information he could put together, wasnt Cubia supposed to be some kind of purple color?

This ... Thing ... Was so dark, it was almost black.

"Maybe ... Maybe its not complete yet! Maybe i can stop it before it goes too far!" Dark Blade quickly ran over his list of skills and found what he was looking for. A new scythe skill, which, he assumed was given to him with the unsealing of the bracelet.

"NIGHT'S EMBRACE!" He yelled as he brought out the blackest scythe he had ever seen. The thing appeared to absorb the light itself. There was no mistaking the dark aura resonating off the weapon.

'Where did I get this thing?!' Was all he thought before ...

An enormous line of darkness issued forth from the scythe as it passed in front of Dark Blade. Slicing through the random pieces of stone in front of him like they were nothing the attacked continued to grow in size.

The skill hit the monster across its left side.

"DID IT WORK?!" Was all he managed to say before he saw it. The attack had done absolutly no damage.

"Not yet ... Not yet ... NOT YET! I WONT GIVE UP SO EASILY!" Dark Blade started letting off the skill in a chain. Aiming all over the creatures body.

When the dust had settled Dark Blade stared in horror. It was still undamaged. He was about to let off another chain of attacks when Cubia threw one of his own attacks back at him.

"WHAT?!" Dark Blade was blown back from where he stood with the force of the attack.

"Pain. Why do I feel pain? Did unsealing the bracelet link me more than I had thought?" Dark Blade closed his eyes unsure of what would happen next. Whatever happened, he was certain that he had not been prepared to try and take on such a monstrosity alone.

Cubia let out a roar. Dark Blade opened one eye from where he lay on the ground barely concious. The beast began disappearing into some kind of ripple in the graphics. Had he done it? Had he stopped it? He didnt know. All he knew was that he couldnt stay awake any longer.

"Aura ..." He said as a girl appeared over him. "I found you ..." Dark Blade started sheding blood red tears and passed out still crying.

After a thorough seach of the area again Darshe found nothing. "Man...I guess it really wasn't an event character.....maybe I should check the board again.."
Deciding to do just that he logged out and soon spotted the new post about the girl in white. "So someone else actually saw her too?"

Rika finished up the last of her math homework, and looked back at the forums. Lo and behold, there was a reply. She looked it over.
Wow, so I'm not going crazy...
She grabbed her M2D, and posted up a response before logging back into the game.

You really think she's some kind of event character? She could be, but wouldn't she be in a single location? Maybe she only appears in fields that begin with Hidden, or maybe she's some kind of random monster. She looks familiar though, I don't know how, she just does. I'm going to go look around town, maybe someone else has some insight into this character.


Rika slipped her M2D back on, and logged back in. When she finished logging back in, the White Knight began asking players passing by if they've seen the girl.

Darshe having been free the wholse day had nothing better to than than spend his time trying to solve the mystery. Though with no leads he was getting frustrated. To relax he decided to go to a lost ground the first one that came to mind was Hulle Granz which seemed to be an almost famous lost ground these days but seeing as the sorts of players who gathered in lost grounds usually had more information than others that was probably for the best... He gated in and noted something was off...but what? That he wasn't sure..but it just felt wrong he stepped inside the cathedral only to see the very familiar statue was missing "What the....?"

White Knight gated into /\ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground, after everyone in town told her about the Statue of Aura inside the cathedral. She thought that this would give an answer to the mysterious glitch event character. She looked around the local as she headed for the giant door.
Nice place. Wiseman wasn't kidding. Wonder where he is now...
She opened the doors up, and went inside. She saw Darshe there, but noticed the statue wasn't.
Oh, what a rip off... came to see the statue, and it's not even here anymore...
She waved at Darshe
Hey, I remember you from the boards, you saw the girl too, right?

"NO!" Lenae screamed. She felt terror going towards Dark Blade.

"LENAE GET BACK!" Nemfora screamed! She turned to face him.

"Nemfora you do care," she looked relieved.

"NOW'S NOT THE TIME, MOVE!" Nemfora was to late. The shot was fired and he jumped in the way. Purple rings surrounded him streaming with data. He felt a terrible pain.

"NO!" Lenae screamed.

"Lenae," sighed Nemfora as he fell to the ground. "I will stay calm. I know I do not have long before I fall into a coma. Please I need you to get out of here now!" Lenae was struck with grief but she knew he was right.

"Goodbye Nemfora, I promise to bring you back!" Lenae stuttered crying.
She vanished in a white light just as a man named Renjishi Kenasaki
hit the floor of his bedroom. A solitary tear of blood went down from his M2D.

Darshe turned instinctively defensive but when he realised she wasn't a threat he relaxed. "Yeah. I finally remembered where I'd seen her before...but the statues gone...It was right there...on the altar covered in chains. Something like that doesn't just get up and move!"

[Jakal Of Twilight]

" Who does he think he is relling me " Are you on halluciogans?" Seriously, the nerve of the guy, Im just gald Dad doesnt fire the creep!" said Jot pissed off. "I need to do my own investigation. TO HULLE GRANHZ!!!" said Jot excited for his new adventure.

Just as Jot warpd to the area, he felt thre burst of pain in his right wrist agian, but this time, it was terribly hurtful. " Why does this keep happening!" said Jot when he got to the area."I'd better go check it out!" Jot ran towrds the cathedral, but only to encounter two players. He approached them and said " Hello there, my name is Jot and I was just wondering, do you know anything about the missing statue?! Sorry to be direct, but Im kindda in a hurry?!" One of the player glanced at his wrist with the same eyes as Lios'. "Excuse me, why are you atraing at my wrist?" asked Jot uncertain of what he had now done.

"Where ... Am I?

'Hello? Excuse me. Miss? Do you mind if I sit with you?'

"Thats ... Me?"

'I'm Dark Blade. Dont let the name fool you though. I'm a pretty nice guy. So whats your name?'

'Aura? Thats an interesting name. So how'd you come up with it?'

"Aura? Whats going on?"

'Sooo ... You didnt come up with it?'

'Your father gave it to you? You mean you couldnt come up with a character name and asked him to think of it?'

"Thats right ..."

'So something like that? Well I suppose when you want to tell me you'll tell me. After all it is the first time we've met. I can wait until your comfortable enough to share even a small secret with me. Now come on, no need for such a cute little thing to look so serious, lets see a smile ...'

"Thats how I first met her."

'Aura! Guess what? I Got my job extension! So how do I look?'

"She was always so nice to me."

'Your gonna make me blush if you keep complimenting me like that, heh heh heh.'

"She was truly my best friend."

"The day came when I heard an incredible story from Aura. At the time I just assumed it was her background story that she role-played to."
"But one day I saw her do something I had not seen even an admin do. She created an NPC on the spot. After this I grew scarred, and tried to stay away from her."
"I filled my days with soloing and anything i could think of to keep my mind off of her. I even stayed completly off the delta server to distance myself from the Hulle Granz."

'DIE YOU USELESS FOOLS!'

"In my mad attempts to stay away from her I started to become violent and slautered countless players."

"Once I had finally calmed down and realized what I had done. I found that there was no excusing it. That there was no way I could go back to her without seeing shame and disappointment in her eyes."

"But as it turned out. She found me. Not surprising when I really thought about it. She probably knew where I was and what I was doing the whole time."

'Do you feel better now?'

"I had expected something different from that tone, that smile. I was prepared for anger. Not understanding."

'I'm ... I'm ...'

"I couldnt help it ... I just started crying."
"She hugged me. Not my character but me. I could feel her arms around my shoulders. I had never felt so comforted in my life. I vowed to protect her. I swore never to raise my hand to someone other than in defense of myself or another."

'Thank you ... My friend'

"Some friend I turned out to be. When she needed me most. I was not there. When I promised to never raise my hand in anger again. I did."

'Remember no matter what happenes. I will be here for you when you want to cry.'

"I had forgotten. The real reason why I called her friend. The real reason I made all those promises."

'I will be there for you too ...'

"It is time."
'It is time.'

"To make good on those oaths!"

"I will temper my mind, use my pain as my weapon. I will not let it control me ever again! I will forge my resolve, using it as my armor. No attacks shall get through!"

"Now Aura. I will find you. I will rescue you. I will not be afraid to cry. Aura, I WILL see you smile again."


((OOC: The only two times aura speaks is in dark blue. The italic text is my mind's voice. Also sorry if this is a bit long or a tad heavy on the emo. My character's background has always dealt deeply with Aura))
