All monsters and items can be found again in vol.2 except quest rewards such as wild robe and steam armor. So if u miss any of these in vol.1, u cant get them in vol.2 as all the quest will reset.

I guess no one could answer my other questions, about the spin Gai Gu and Broad Legged, but anyone know an area where I can get Rogue alloy? I've been customising for any situation and I need more.

For Spin Gai Gu and Broade Legged, check this topic:
http://www.dothackers.net/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=11083

You're best bet for rough alloy is to trade. A lot of players have them.

For Beginner's books and texts, Henako and Corporal Yano both carry them. You can trade for them, then enter Canard. When you leave Canard, their items lists will have reset so you can trade for more.

The only side quest I bothered to finish so far is the Chim one.
How come everyone is missing the monster and weapon ryu books? Those are the ones I don't have too...
I wish I could've finished them though, I really want to get a guild rank of three. :(
And wow- 4,000,000??? I only have like 300,000

I'm wondering~what would happen if you just started on vol. 2 without intensely leveling on 1? Would you start on level 1? :?

If you don't convert vol. 1 data to the 2nd game Haseo starts Vol. 2 at LV 40.

Yes if you do convert vol. 1 data to the 2nd game Haseo will still start out at the same lv he was at the end of Vol. 1 though I had Haseo at LV 50.

well you cant convert data unless you beat the game so you wont start as lvl 1 and if you dont convert i read you start at lvl 40

Oh okay. 40 is sorta fair I guess... but the people who were lame enough to not even play vol. 1 will still be at a disadvantage! 8)

i have everything done to every quest except bikman's cause i though that was just rediculus and u don't even get en thing good from it. But finisheing the lucky animal quest is a must cause u get the "wild robes" for atoli. It is an amazing item for her and a must have for the second game when u get here back. i recomend completeing everything(for the ryu books u dont have to get everything i am still missing 4 monsters and 1 or 2 items) cause idk if u can get it again in vol.2
or hte lcuky Animal one, do i have to kick eveyr diffrent type? Or can i kick the same one more then once?

U get some rewards when u kick a certain number of lucky/unlucky animals(inclusive of repetitive animals). U also get another reward if u managed to kick all the animals.
