In the Philippines it's some kind of steam rice cake thingy :3 I'd say it tastes good x3

And the word "puto/a" in itself holds the same meaning in all of the Romance languages, including but not limited to Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. The word in itself might've come from a "bastardization" of a Latin word. So yeah, it means the very same in spanish as it means in portuguese :3
But it's not so bad, really. In fact, the way i used it turns into a mexican-slang phrase which pretty much translates as "F*CK YEAH". Fun to use around friends and well-known people, and almost like the FORCED word to use at certain moments...just not what you'd say to your teachers or at a job interview. And while you can say such english word "normally", you just would never say "COGER SI" (direct translation) aloud in spanish without being looked at like some sexual assaulter, so yeah >3> lol
