Then A.T Don`t you believe in God? I mean you always do many comparisons of .hack with the religion and I think if you don`t believe in God this is for you like a kind of mythology and It explain why you can compare both things without a second thought.

Sorry for the off topic but A.T is like the light in many topics and I have interest in her way of think.

I don't think AT's faith has much to do with it, but the fact is that there are a number of ways in which references to religion can be read into .hack, such as the way in which Aura was killed and reborn as a 'god' of The World.

Whether or not you believe in religion, I think its short-sighted to think that, because you believe in God, you cannot make the assumption that other people won't refer to religion in their works, or that you cannot attempt to read religion into something.

Imagine trying to watch NGE and denying all the religious symbolism, if you do then you deny yourself a certain amount of insight into that particular dimension of the storyline.

And AT is a guy. ¬_¬

Yes, yes I know about the symbolism in everything but in Japon the persons have a religion completly different and they think in this like a kind of mythology just like you can think of theirs. If A.T believe in the evolution then She can see this sybolism like them

Haseo was data drained before in R:1 by Skeith and was a unreturner, despite he have no memory of that.

....Yeah, Haseo is Sora now?
Another "veteran" from R:1?

I can't read the text so I don't understand what you really want to show.

By the way, isn't there any candidate for Haseo except Sora?

If we named the coma victims one by one (during the game), it will: Sora, Orca, Kazu, Sieg and all dot hackers member. But the dot hackers is data drained by Corbenik, so we lose all "candidates" from them.

Haseo is 17 in G.U. so, we eliminate everyone older after 7 years. Orca is too old after 7 years, Sieg is Kuhn. So we eliminate them too. Kazu is 12-13 during the game, so he will be too older for Haseo.

Then, we have the last candidate: Sora.

He's predicted to be 9 or 10 years old when playing R:1. After 7 years, he will have the same age as Haseo. And the fact that he is the first person data-drained by Skeith!

But in Jun's journal, Sora has stopped playing!

So, who is Haseo??? Is he another player that not mentioned as the coma victims?

Or... maybe (just a crazy thoughts) Sora suddenly lost his thoughts all of sudden and play The World again without remembering anything???

Hehe.

you learn something new everyday.

anyways, it does sounds like the creators or at least the artists are getting sloppy. its enough that we have to sort through a whole lot of non cannon and cannon material. its all in the fun i'm sure. i like Shinsou Wotan's interpretation.

Or could it be that Haseo is just a new and normal player just like Kite in IMOQ?

Nope. Read the thread, that much is confirmed.

If your talking about the pics that were first posted, I know someone needs to brush up on their Japanese because they say nothing about Haseo being data drained by skeith in R:1.

Also, I bought the offical book off the link that you gave me. I should get it soon since I live in Singapore. I'm also fluent in Japanese, I may have a little trouble with Kanji from time to time, but nothing there says anything about Haseo being data drained in R:1.

I still so no real evidence to support this theory. I just see assumptions.

Translate what it says and post it if you are so confident in your abilities.

There's a part in Vol. 3 where Skeith appears to Haseo and talks to him. And in that small scene thing, Skeith takes Sora's shape.
That surely has to do with the connection Sora-Skeith, but doesn't really says alot of Haseo-Sora. I can't be sure, though.

No, Sorrow.

He doesn't take his shape, he takes his mannerisms, adding soundeffects to his voice and stuff. He's a palette swap of Haseo.

Oh man, I'd love to know how Haseo reacted to that! That must be good!

かつて「The World」をプレイ中にスケィスにデータドレインされ、意識不明になるという過去を持つが、本人は覚えていない。
The key words, "Skeith" and "Data Drain", aren't in kanji. It also takes up almost half of the description, I don't see how you could miss it... Then again, I myself suck at reading English sometimes...

Well, I can only read the left half because the right is really dark. Maybe your able to read more than I can...I have been having problems with my monitor and this darkness effect with vids and pics. I can't see Skeith and Data Drain anywhere. The only things I see that aren't Kanji is : ages 16 and 17 and [The World R:2].

Whos to say Sora's memories were kept inside of the AI Sora, and Sora simply returned with his memories up to SIGN?
Remember, Sora had NO IDEA who Skeith was, all he knew was, he was data drained by a strange monster, it wasn't untill the end of Infection when we even first learned his name.
I know this is an old post, but, I have to refute that, it is hard not to, actually, Morganna calls him skeith shortly after summoning him, I forget the exact phrasing, but she DOES say skeith in it
