I'm thinking the same thing, but her/his grudge towards Haseo may keep her/him from being a party member. Then again, I'm always wrong so she/he could be.

Saburo doesn't bear any grudge towards Haseo, they parted on good terms actually. ¬_¬

It looks like Saburo quit with the rest but as she isn't travelling or training to be a nurse, she's in with as good a chance as Tabby or Tohta.

Actually, Tabby wants to be a nurse so that she can help Shino, and others. Tabby's coming back as soon as she's done with real life. ^_^ Hint Hint, mabyeeeee~ ^.^

This could be true. Maybe. Maybe, Tabby could cough out blood and finish up the rest of the Epitaph!

There are really only four characters I can see making a comeback:

Shino
Tabby
Tohta
Saburo

Shino will most probably return as she is the reason Haseo goes through all these trials in the game, though I'm not sure she will join your party.

Tabby stopped playing to become a nurse and help people like Shino, if they all awaken she could easily return.

Tohta left to study abroad but we can't be sure how much time elapses during GU, it may be enough for him to finish studying and return to play again.

Saburo, apparently, continued playing the game in order to watch Haseo, though we haven't seen her, so she could easily reappear at any time.

Did Sakisaka know about Shino's condition? If not, he might return when he learns of it.

Sakisaka quit playing the game before he could find out, I doubt he will return. The same applies to B Set and Gord.

Vol. 3 drawings show  Haseo in his Xth Form with Shino, Tabby, and Sakisaka. So, there's still hope for a return.

Well it could be a bonus character that is actually an AI of the PC. Although once Shino comes back then Tabby might not have a reason to become a nurse anymore since her goal is already accomplished, by Haseo.

That would mean that Shino comes out of the coma by the time Tabby joins the party, which I assume is in the early parts or in the middle of the game.

Tabby did say that she wanted to help OTHER people like Shino, so she's not gonna quit once Shino wakes up. Her entire reason for becoming a nurse is for proving herself in the real world and realizing that she can make a difference.

Maybe Tabby's just a generally nice girl.
