Yeah im already blown away by episode 5. I'm on 10 now but Haruhi Suzumiya is such a priceless character.

Second season is still a rumor. I don't think Kyoto Animation has even confirmed whether or not there will be a second season.

seems to be a LOT going around about a season two, and it seems highly possible but yeah, last time i heard, no official news

It was confirmed, I believe. I just can't remember when I got the damn link. There's a thread on the VGcats forum that's discussing it.

The first episode will probably be broadcasted, but not the entire thing. It was announced shortly after the anime, which was finished sometime last year.

EDIT: I just talked with Luke, apparently the first episode is a bit... odd. I'll watch the rest xD

Yeah I thought the same thing. The thing is though that the episodes arnt in the right order.

So yeah...I probably know the answer I'm gonna get here, but is this series really that good? From what I've read about it it seems borderline insane. My friend described it as less anime and more acid trip. Or is that the whole point of the series?

I SHALL POINT OUT that originally there were only about five of us with Haruhi-related avatar/sigs. Then this thread was created and the angels sang. Since then Haruhi-ism has spread through the forum, devouring all who touch it.

I declaired myself the number one Nagato Yuki fangirl on this forum months ago.
