After Chance had finished gearing up he started for the door, but saw that Rayne had not gotten a coat. He went to the room and opened the door, hopping to the side as a pile of coats fell to the ground. He picked one up that seemed to match her outfit and then glanced around for one for himself, but didn't see any that would allow him as much freedom of movement as he'd like, however he did find a pair of long black gloves that reached almost all the way up his arm and grabbed those. He pocketed the gloves and slung the coat over his arm.

He also grabbed a backpack and filled it with extra water and other various supplies he thought might be useful. He slung the pack over his back and exited the house. His preparations made him take the longest, but speed came with preparation, or at least that's what he told himself. Once outside he offered the coat to Rayne before going to stand slightly behind her. If they were attacked he was confident Yuri could handle anything that came from the front, but he wanted to make sure nothing hit Rayne from behind. While waiting for Yuri to begin their trek he pulled on the right glove, his left arm being covered in metal he left alone, deciding that he could fix that once they stopped.

Yuri: lets get going were gonna have to walk there { he walks with them leading them to the middle of amountainous forest and after a few hours he stops in what seems to be the middle of nowhere} okay now you have got to keep up { he sweep rayne up in his arms} hold on tight and chance follow this will help with training { he jumps into a tree and he jumps from branch to branch with chance following him all the way and they finnaly end up in a huge area where the scenary is amazing theres a water fall and what looks like a river and a lake connected to the water fall their are trees and it just looks so natura and amazing} its good to be back { he walks towards the hut that seems to be there and he waits by the door as a bird flys and lands on his shoulder} yo coco master back yet

Yuri: thought so s*sigh* well what do you guys think

Rayne looked around the new location with curiousity shinning brightly in her eyes after she was sat back down. It was an absolutely stunning location, and Rayne would never have expected that there would have been such a place as this hidden so deeply within the woods. She continued to look around a little longer, watching as a bird flew into the clearing. It flew over to Yuri and landed on his shoulder, as if it had done so many times before, and from the way he reacted to the bird, it was apparent it had.

"It's beautiful, Yuri," Rayne replied after Yuri had asked his question, a light smile lighting up her face. "I take it you've spent a good amount of your time here?"

Yuri: well yeah this i where i spent most of my time so i kinda know this place like the back of my hand it is actually beautiful right { he sees smoke coming out of the chimney} what the hell { he walks through the door to see a letter on the table} huh { he flips it over and it has a huge cross stamped on it and yuris reaction is just a shocked one} its from master wait he was here! { he rips the letter open and begins reading it}

Knight leader: you mean Cross and Maria where are they

Knight: they were last scene exiting the knight academy in grand bell 2 days ago sources say they might still be in town

yuri: WHAT!!!!!???? { he crushes the letter in his hands and throws it flying} I'll kill him what kinda bull is this

the letter: hey pupil long time no see i came for awhile with maria and decided that wed check out some rumors going around the L.P.D outbreaks around the world i left u a little something special in the usual place u know the drill............ oh by the way i hacked into ur savings and had to make a dramtaic witchdrawal u know life has these little problems well anyway catch u on the flip side { and at the end theirs a face with a peace sign and sticking its tongue out}

Yuri: { he looks and turns around and he has a agitated look} ill be back if u want u can follow i have to go get something by the waterfall * this better be good*

Chance dropped the excess pack he had been carrying and snatched up the letter while he was inside. Unfortunate, I guess we'll be tightening our buckles for a while. He dropped the letter back where it was and followed after Yuri.

Yuri: { standing by the waterfall} jeez this is ridiculus { he takes his jacket off and he walks to the bottom of the waterfall} here we go { he starts climing the rockwall behing it and the waterfall is pounding down on him with fierce power and his girp isnt weakeing at alll and he starts scaling the rock wall and then makes it half way to this weird grazzy crevace and he grabs a box on the inside of it and he jumps down and he lands in the water but then comes out and hes just sitting there} * BREATHING HEAVILY* that bastard ill kill him that son of a **** everytime pain in the ass everytime { he toses the box and it land on his coat} hey come on in the waters fine { he kicks water at beaux and slips behind him} ur too slow { trips him into the water}

Chance wraps his legs around Yuri's and then twists sending him into the water as well. He jumps out quickly, hoping to beat Yuri out of the water, but finds the man behind him and shoving him right back in. Spluttering as he stands back up, "Hang on, let me get this off first." He says as he's working on removing the gauntlet from his left arm. He strips down to his pants and then dives back in.

Yuri: allrighty then chance try to climb up this water fall ur bigger than me and obviously physically stronger so it shouldnt be a problem for u right the minute u make it to the top ur true training begins { he dumps his head underwater and starts floating} whats the matter though afraid to get ur clothes all wet

Yuri: { looks to rayne} wats the matter dont feel like swiming

Chance looks up at the waterfall. Maaaan, even if he says that. I might look stronger, but I know he's a lot stronger. "It's not that. Clothes just get heavy when wet, and armor has a habit of rusting. Even though it is coated to help prevent that sort of thing, I don't like risking my gear." He swings his arms at his sides a few times, before starting up the rock side. Man, this is worse than that time I had to scale that stone wall during a hail storm, and the other trainees were trying to shoot arrows at me. At least back then I had a pair of tiger claws. I'll have to get myself a pair later.

Yuri: 3....2.......1 { a huge pile of water starts to parrel down right onto beaux like the current got faster and stronger and it starts to push chance down the wall abit} hold on tight that waterfall isnt ur average one every 10 minutes its speed will pick up and the current willl be 10 times stronger trust me I normally hate this kinda f training but as u are now ull need it { he sits up in the water}

"Y.. ....'ve .ar... .e!" Chance tried to shout despite the massive deluge of water. Where I am now I won't be able to hold on much longer, and it's only slicker down there, no choice. With a barbaric yawp Chance plunged one of his arms up through the water, failed to find anything to hold onto and nearly lost his grip with his other hand as it was thrown back into his face. Like I'd let a little thing like water keep me down. He plunged his arm up once more and found something to hang onto. ]Exerting what felt like all of his strength he pushed himself up a little ways farther. Hah, I can do this. Something slapped Chance in the face and he lost his footing. The rockface dug into his fingers and he let out a strangled scream of pain but held on. He managed to get his feet back and readied himself for the next fish.

That's not going to make this any easier. He took a deep breath and tried to do whatever it was Yuri had taught him about slowing things down yesterday. It felt like it worked for a second but he lost it. Come on Chance, if you don't have enough time to react you won't be able to climb any higher. He turned his face up into the torrent and tried again. It seemed like it worked this time and he moved his body to the side just enough to avoid the next fish.

It felt like an eternity had passed, yet he had only gotten a few feet higher and every muscle in his body was screaming at him. And he couldn't feel his fingers anymore, they were either numb from blood loss or numb from the pain, either way it didn't matter. At the same time the waterfall went back to normal strength Chance lost his holds and fell head first towards the water. Just before he hit the surface he managed to arc his neck and back just enough that he missed the rocky bottom. Though he flipped so that he was lying face first in the water and was unable to find the energy to move himself at all as darkness crept into the sides of his vision. Crap, looks like I'm passing out, and the first day isn't even over yet.

Yuri: { catches beaux an sets him down} damn this sucks ohh well he did alot better then i though he would of { he splashes water
on beauxs face} so you alive

Chance opened his eyes groggily. "Only if this isn't Hell." Closing his eyes for a second he checked all his muscles, they were burning, but intact. He hadn't pulled anything, which was good, but it meant he still had more training to go. Which meant more of the same, probably. Chance took in a deep breath, ignoring the pain that spawned from it he stood back up and looked from Yuri to the waterfall. "So, do I get to go again, or do you have some other training in mind next?"

Yuri: nope its fine you did a good job you made it further then my first try for now lets just do some basic training { he picks up a wooden sword and tossed one to chance} we'll work on technique training

Chance nodded and decided to don his favorite stance, one designed to be highly aggressive, he called it vaapad. It was a modified version of another style that combined certain aspects from some other forms he had read about. He wasn't sure exactly what Yuri had in mind, but he did remember the man saying to try attacking him throughout the day that morning, and although he still didn't feel that he would succeed, especially with his body still aching from the waterfall, he deigned it high time to try again. As soon as he was set in the stance Chance launched into a furious flurry of attacks. The style relied more on the defender being forced to well defend from the stylist more so than the user to go on the defensive, but Chance had incorporated a good many defensive maneuvers as well knowing full well that sometimes he'd be facing multiple targets or he'd be fighting someone who could actually keep up, like Yuri.

Yuri: * not bad not too many openings hess quite precise but too many tells* { he blocks one strike but he starts dodging and after awhile he just grabs chances sword} your not ad your actually preety good but relax yourself try not focus on defeating me rather then hittinng me

Chance smiled and looked down to the ground. "Hitting, not defeating, got ya." Chance rushed forward and slammed his shoulder into Yuri's. While grabbing hold of the man's pants he slammed the hilt of his sword into Yuri's gut and then he tried to put some distance between the two to catch his breath and establish a new stance. The new one would still be aggressive, but focusing more on landing blows rather than finishing a fight in as few strokes as possible. He didn't care for it too much as it meant fights would last longer, but he was still fairly proficient with it.

Chance was about to begin the next assault when a thought crossed his mind. Focusing more on hitting didn't necessarily mean throwing more attacks out there. He switched back to vapaad and relaxed a little. Although the style did flow from him naturally he decided to try bending the course of the river so to speak. His posture changed slightly, it was hard to say whether he was conscious of this or not. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before stepping towards Yuri.

The movements were slow at first, but then he began moving faster and then something just clicked. Chance suddenly became much more difficult to read and he was moving faster than before. It wasn't that his tells had changed they were still there, but he seemed able to manipulate them now and attack when it seemed he was about to feint or fall back and vice versa. He could also begin to tell how Yuri would act and react. Only a little bit before he did, but it was more than he had before.

Yuri: not bad not bad { he starts blocking and he then throws a quick slash at chance which gets blocked easily} * allright not bad* { he closes the gap quickly and he halts chances sword with the hilt of his wooden one} next we sh-ould work a bit on defense

Chance took a few steps back. "Alright, you want me to take a defensive stance, let you lead, or did you have something else in mind?" He was ready to shift to soresu or whatever form Yuri wanted him to, if need be, but he would be just as happy to maintain vapaad. He couldn't recall the last time he was on the primarily receiving end when using that style. Of course, sometimes the best defense was an offense that ended the fight quickly.
