it gave for me exactly what i wanted. more god of war. after beating the first, shorter, game, i got one of those "i would love to keep playing, but just not thie same game over and over".
and then, with GoWII, i got that. so im happy. im glad i didnt buy it. just rented it. great game and all. not worth 50. i'll get it when its a greatest hits. then it'll be worth it.

i did like the story in this one more however. even if the ending was lame.

Wait for God of War III.
How was the ending lame? (Im not saying I liked it, just wondering)

all it does is set people up with false hope for a third game.
looking at the ending, it would be hard for them to make a decent story line for a next game to follow up on the previous two.
and not only that, the whole idea behind kratos taking over olympus was just too much. killing ONE god, thats cool. going for the whole shebang i just too much.
would have been better if the cliffhanger was kratos getting killed, and trying to escape hades (again).

True, but think of the repetitiveness of being killed so many times.

He would officially die roughly once every game.

Kinda like DBZs Goku, who keeps dying but comes back....

God of War is tha best evvvaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*bumps*Well...GOWII is like the awesomest game to ever grace my PS2...and...TITAN MODE IS THE F***ING HARDEST THING IN THE WORLD!!!!!
PS:Zeus is an A$$hole...
